The Riches

Welcome to "The Riches". This new FX hit show tells the story of a family of travellers as they try to "steal" the American dream.

The show was created by Dmitry Lipkin and stars Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard, who also acts as an executive producer. The first season consists of the pilot and 12 episodes. The pilot scored strong ratings with 3.8 million viewers tuning in. Television critics were raving about the show, especially praising Driver's and Izzard's performances. The show is expected to be back next season; FX executives are very happy with the show's performance and confident that it will be renewed.

Wayne Malloy (Eddie Izzard) is the head of the Malloy family. He is an eloquent con artist. After getting tired of the traveller lifestyle, he steals the identity of The Riches and sets out to make the American dream come true for his family. He takes on the identity of Doug Rich and manages to get a job as a lawyer.

Dahlia Malloy (Minnie Driver), the wife and mother, is just released from prison when we meet the family. She has a serious drug addiction and a hard time adjusting to the new life, away from the traveller clan she crew up with. As she takes on the identity of Cherien Rich, she supports Wayne to make this con work.

Dehliah "Di Di" Malloy (Shannon Marie Woodward) is the teenage daughter. Like her two brothers, Di Di crew up as a traveller and learned many tricks and ways to con her way through life. Aside from the typical teenage troubles, Di Di seems to have an easier time to settle into the new lifestyle.

Cael Malloy (Noel Fisher) is the oldest son. He is very supportive of the traveller lifestyle and is only slowly adjusting. He is very adapt at various cons, which helps him to quickly make "buffer" friends. He has a girlfriend back at camp and a desire to see her, which causes trouble to the family.

Sam Malloy (Aidan Mitchell) is the baby of the family. Born as a boy, he likes to wear dresses and hasn't quite decided yet whether he'd rather be a girl. Sam is very intelligent and a quick learner and has a way of seeming very innocent, which has helped him with his cons and scams. He is very attached to his mother.
