The ShipIt Workbook
Ranked #43 in Business & Work, #3,352 overall | Donates to Acumen Fund
A write-in-it, get-it-done, banish-fear workbook
OUT OF PRINT!
In Linchpin, I write about the lizard brain and the way we often sabotage projects.
In the 32 page shipit workbook, we nail the lizard to the wall, identify it, defeat it and make something happen.
If you push yourself and your team to get through the workbook, I promise your product will ship (or you'll know why).
I've tested this on the road trip, taking thousands of people through it, and it's working. I hope you'll discover the same impact. Five copies cost $16 (about $3.20 each) but the price will probably rise after this printing is sold.

Here's what I know
Projects don't fail because we don't care, and they don't fail because we don't know enough and they don't fail because we're not working hard.Projects fail because when we work in teams, we seek deniability. We want instructions, not insight. We want someone else to be happy with our work and someone else to take the blame when things don't work out.
It might make you uncomfortable (actually, it will make you uncomfortable) but this workbook makes it really clear what is at stake and what to do about it.
The workbook and the original
Now out of print, sorry.

- Is The Shipit Journal still applicable if you're working solo, not as part of a team? Is there any way to buy a single?
Thanks, Seth. I love your work!

- Hi Seth. I was at the Harris Theatre in Chicago this morning and appreciated your mention of the shipit booklet. I added it to my Amazon Wish list so hopefully when it is back it stock I can get a few packs. While I am waiting I will ship an article I have been afraid to send out for fear it wasn't perfect. It might just be good enough. Thanks for the nudge in that direction.

- Seth, I wanted to order from Amazon but the only international shipping option seems to be "Standard", requiring the books upto 1 1/2 months to make it to The Netherlands!
Is this a clever way to discourage impulse buying or an ommission on the dashboard somewhere?
