"Is the Wealthy Affiliate program just another get-rich-quick sort of scam?" I pondered to myself one day back in 2006.
At that point in time, I'd tried a lot of different "make money online" products but hadn't really found any success.
If you're here reading this, you probably know what I'm talking about - a big headline promises you can "beat google at their own game" or "dominate clickbank in minutes".
But you know, I tried a bunch of those, and nothing really worked - I felt kind of scammed afterwards.
I was actually about to give up Affiliate Marketing overall. I mean sure, maybe it's great for a few who got in early & have the 'secrets' of how to be a successful affiliate. But for me? I honestly really had my doubts...
My biggest fear with spending any more money on affiliate marketing programs at that time was that they weren't actually going to produce successful results for me personally!
Then, by accident, I found the Wealthy Affiliate program. Three things really stood out to me about it:
1.)It's geared for a total affiliate newbie like me! At that time, I couldn't use adwords or clickbank to save my life!!!
2.) They offer personal, 1-on-1 coaching with affiliates who were already pretty much being successful & making money online. I looked into affiliate coaching at other places, but they wanted $1,000... $2,000... $5,000 or more. Yuk!
3.) It was really realistic about equipping you with the attitude needed to succeed online. It wasn't a "totally dominate every affiliate program overnight" eBook or just a spammed-out forum, rather, a work hard, smart, and see results kind of thing.
So, in November 2006, I took the plunge, signed up, and paid my 30$/month, and got wrapped up in this whole "internet marketing" thing.
I've created this page to share about my experiences at the Wealthy Affiliate and to help you decide if the Wealthy Affiliate program is worth your 30$/ month.

One of the biggest questions people ask me (and the question I myself asked!) when considering the Wealth Affiliate program is this:-"I'm totally new to Affiliate Marketing and Selling online. Can Wealthy Affiliate really help me make money & be successful online?"
..to which from my personal experience, I would answer a hearty "yes"! :)
Before jumping into the Wealthy Affiliate, I had made a total of 1 sale in affiliate marketing, a Clickbank product called "Rocket German".
Unfortunately, to get that sale, I spent quite a few $$ on Google Adwords...and actually ended up losing money, rather than making it. :/
I definitely did NOT have any great marketing skills (never really sold much of anything before), and I couldn't create an affiliate website to save my life...
But right away after joining the Wealthy Affiliate, I realized it was okay that I didn't already know a lot about marketing or affiliate websites!
Here's a bit more about the three things that helped me actually start making daily Clickbank affiliate sales after joining:

Wealthy Affiliate's 8-week Action plan does just that.
1.) The 8-week Action plan starter program. Kyle & Carson (owners of Wealthy Affiliate) have done a really nice job at setting up a straightforward, totally beginner-level 8 week course!
This course covers how to get started with Affiliate marketing at a pace that's reasonable for even a total newbie (like me :)!
The thing I liked best about it was that it's not just fluff and theory like a lot of the eBooks out there... it's real stuff that they show you, and even demonstrate in actual real-world examples.... they really walk the talk!
Heck, even my grandma would be able to understand the basics of affiliate marketing after going through this course!

The biggest part of Wealthy Affiliate for me is the forum.
The Wealthy Affiliate forum features an astounding number of real people who are making very good money with affiliate marketing who gladly come and share the secrets & advice they use with others.
There's nothing like having an affiliate campaign fail, and having someone else who's been there tell you exactly what went wrong!
So, are affiliate newbies having success at the Wealthy Affiliate program?
I could write a long list of ways in which newbie affiliates are profiting, finding out how to become a successful affiliate online, but in this case, I'll just show you a screen shot of our "success" forum! I just took this screenshot today! Check it out:

- a situation to work very well in conjunction with dating site (niche) ... And, its an "instant" profit & cash flow opportunity.
hence:
i have a friend (client) who has a cash flow to buy which is focused in the entertainment industry. the current owner shows earnings average of $80-$90 per day. i.e. a very realistic figure.
however, my friend is not entirely sure the current owner is being honest even though the current owner has provided pics of stats and earnings, ... everyone knows its kinda easy to edit pics, etc.
help me and i'll joint venture.
OR, can anyone offer viable options to consider ?
preferrably, is anyone an " investor " or speculator who'd care to develop a joint venture arrangement ?
i'm pretty innovative to develop win-win solutions, but i do discuss or disclose those details publicly.
i.e. i have ideas how the purchase might be accomplished, and, everyone wins. but it'd be better to bounce it a bit.

- It's definitely not a problem if you have a program already. I'm marketing several different industries, and with the things I've learned at WA, I'm consistently making profit. You do not necessarily need your own domain to be profitable - for example, writing articles works well.
