- Wonderful reading, very informative. Amazing how some people tend to veer away from such topics without fully understanding them. 5 Stars from me.

Cartouche Corner - Are You Set On Set?
Okay, let's get one thing out of the way right now. Set is NOT an evil card. Yes, it represents the bad in the world, but not all bad or evil is intentional. Sometimes people do bad things simply because they don't think. As Murry Hope so beautifully states in her book "The Way Of The Cartouche"
"There's a difference between deliberate evil intent and the blunders of the mentally affected."
Just because somebody does something that's bad doesn't make them a bad person. We all know that there are others in this world who just don't have their head screwed on tight. They're not responsible for their actions. Well, Set is not responsible for the evil, intentional or not, that men do. Set is only making us aware of things that we should already know anyway. Yes, Set is a disruptive card. There is no getting around it. But seeing it come up in a spread doesn't mean that the world is coming to an end. Sometimes the disruptive forces of Set can actually be a blessing in disguise. Because of one very traumatic event, years ago, that was evident in a reading where Set came up, I began a career in songwriting. It was amazing how this tragedy brought me to something that I would have never thought I'd ever do.
And remember one thing. If Set should happen to turn up in our first house during an Astrological spread, it means that we are the cause of our own problems. We have nobody to blame but ourselves. Sorry if this sounds insensitive, but many times we are our own worst enemies. I know that I myself am guilty of this more times than I want to admit.
So tell me, are YOU set on Set?

What Spread To Use When
There are basically only two common spreads use for Cartouche, though their are some uncommon spreads that you can use as well. I'm not going to cover them here as you're most likely not going to find them to study and their use won't come up very often. So I'll just stick to the main two.
The first one is the Horoscope Spread. This spread uses a total of 13 cards out of the 25 card deck. Of the 13 cards, 12 fill each individual house of the 12 houses of the zodiac and the 13th card is what is called the Significator or Summator. This card is placed in the center of the spread with the other 12 cards placed around it. The Significator of Summator is the card that tells the overall tone of the reading. Each of the 12 cards relate to the specific house that the card falls in.
You would use this spread when you want to get a general overall feeling of what somebody's life is going to be like. For example. Let's say that your subject has just gotten the last of their children out of the house and they're wondering what the next few years are going to be like. The Horoscope spread will give them a general idea of what the immediate future is going to be like, rather than focus in on a specific question. So, where general knowledge is needed, the Horoscope spread will do just fine.
The reason you wouldn't use a Horoscope spread for a specific question is that you'd be getting too much information and most likely wouldn't be able to come up with a specific answer that really addresses the problem. There is such a thing as information overload. Conversely, you wouldn't try to give somebody an overview of their next couple of years with just 5 cards. There simply isn't enough information.
So when you're trying to decide what spread to use, look at the question being asked. If it's a general question such as, "How will my life be this year?" then use the Horoscope spread. If it's a specific question like "Will I get that raise at work?" then use the Star spread.
By following these guidelines, you should have no problems finding just the right spread for your subject and the question being asked.

How To Get Others Interested
As a matter of fact, the last psychic fair I went to, which was several years ago, I took a survey of the tables that were there. It was a small fair run at a lodge building. In all, there were 15 tables. Of the 15 tables, here was the breakdown.
Tarot Card Readings - 10 tables
Astrology Readings - 3 tables
Numerology Readings - 2 tables
Not one Cartouche table in the lot. I wasn't really surprised. Most of the psychics I talk to don't even mention Cartouche as a form of divination.
Well, I figured it was time to do something about this problem. See, I've done a lot of study on Cartouche and I can honestly say that it is a very accurate form of divination. I use it quite often, especially when I want to get a fresh perspective. The problem was trying to convince others of this.
And then I thought of the solution.
What I now do when I give somebody a reading, especially if it's a Tarot Card reading, is this. If I find that the spread is a complex one and the answer isn't so clear, what I will do is tell the subject, "Look, I'm not getting a clear picture here. I'd like to try something. Would you object to giving you an additional reading using Cartouche?" In most cases they'll have no objections, especially since I don't charge for my readings anyway. This gives me a chance to expose them to Cartouche.
Well, I can't tell you how many times my subjects have gone away thanking me and telling me that they found the reading very interesting. I've had people come back to me and ask me to specifically do a Cartouche reading.
If you feel passionate about Cartouche and can't seem to get people interested in it, if you are adept at other forms of divination, try incorporating Cartouche into them.
You might be pleasantly surprised at the results.
More to come.

The 3 Levels Of Consciousness
The reasons that we have 3 levels of consciousness is that the cards themselves aren't limited to just one interpretation. Depending on the level of consciousness that you're dealing with, the card being read can mean one of a number of things. That's what makes Cartouche so fascinating.
The first level of consciousness is the physical or material level. This is the one that we deal with every day of our lives. This level involves our jobs, our friendships, our hobbies and any physical thing that we do on a day to day basis. For most of us, this is the most important level. Ironically, at least to a person who is truly in tune with this whole self, this is really the least important of all the levels.
The second level of consciousness is the psychological, mental or subconscious level. This is the level where we start to get in tune with the deeper meaning in life. This level deals with our ideas, thoughts, hopes, fears, personalities, and what some people call "the real us." Many of us try to hide this level from others, especially if we're afraid that it will reveal something about ourselves that feel won't sit right with the rest of the world.
The third level of consciousness is the spiritual, transpersonal or super-conscious level. This level deals with our spiritual beliefs and even past lives. This is a level, that at some stages, is beyond what we are even aware of, especially when it comes to our past lives.
So, what does this all have to do with Cartouche? The best way to explain it is by comparing it to the Major and Minor Arcana of the Tarot. The Minor Arcana has to do with our everyday lives. The Major Arcana has to do with the higher meaning in our lives and not with the everyday grind of our jobs. The Cartouche is not bound by such "rules." A card of the Cartouche can apply to the bus ride you're going to be taking during a tour of a foreign country or to what your past life did 3000 years ago. It all depends on the question asked and the level of the reading.
Cartouche is a fascinating science. One can spend a lifetime studying it and not even scratch the surface. Hopefully, further investigation will bring with it additional enlightenment.
More to come...
Cartouche Reading - My First One
Anyway, my first subject wanted to know if he should move in with a friend of his so they could save some money on rent.
This was the reading that came about in a Star Spread that I did.
1. Fire (Reversed)
2. Earth (Reversed)
3. Nephthys (Reversed)
4. Winged Disk (Reversed)
5. Horus (Reversed)
I'll let you think about this for a while. The way the subject cut the deck, all the cards ended up reversed. This would change over time as I did more and more readings.
I'll print the answer to this reading in a few days so make sure you check back.
In the meantime, I've got a poll below where you can cast your vote.
Cartouche Reading Poll
The Answer To My First Cartouche Reading
Here were the cards for my Star Spread
1. Fire (Reversed)
2. Earth (Reversed)
3. Nephthys (Reversed)
4. Winged Disk (Reversed)
5. Hours (Reversed)
Here was my analysis.
1. Fire (Reversed) - This is the nature and concerns of the inquiry. This card shows great disloyalty, anger and trouble. This bothered me right from the start. I wasn't sure if this was the subject or the friend, but something immediately didn't look right.
2. Earth (Reversed) - This card shows the reason he is asking or the cause of the problem. This card shows great waste and idleness. I suspected that the subject was restless and felt that a change of residence with a roommate would improve things.
3. Nephthys (Reversed) - This card shows factors to be considered. This card shows great tension and deviousness. I as really starting to get terrible vibes from this reading at this point. I was going to ask a question here, but I refrained. I wanted to see more.
4. Winged Disk (Reversed) - This card shows the solution or advice that should be given. This card clearly shows that this relationship is doomed to failure and the advice to be given is clearly not to move in with the friend.
5. Horus (Reversed) This card shows the final outcome IF the advice is taken. This card shows healing and harmony. This is when I had to ask what was going on.
Turns out, the two were having serious problems and the subject thought that by moving in together they could work them out. This was clearly not a good idea. So, I told him to FIRST work out their problems and then if that happened, think about moving in together.
Well, the subject took my advice. They did eventually work out their problems but never moved in together.
So if you guessed that they shouldn't move in together, based on the cards, give yourself a gold star.

The Many Uses Of Cartouche
One of the uses of Cartouche is as an Oracle. I remember playing an old video game called "Might & Magic" that has an Oracle in the game itself. It was one of the most interesting parts of the game. an Oracle, for those who don't know, has many definitions. The most common one is that of a shrine that has been created to worship some kind of a god. However, as far as Cartouche goes, this definition does not apply. As it applies to Cartouche, an Oracle, in this case the cards, acts as a mediator between you and some external source. This source is going to be different for each person as we all have different beliefs. But the cards simply serve as a go between. Think of them as a telephone connection to the heavens.
The Cartouche is also used as a Talisman. Talismans are very often confused with charms and amulets. Amulets are small objects that ward off evil and charms are usually associated with good luck. A Talisman is neither of these things. A Talisman is more an object that tunes in to our specific energies and wavelengths and respond to us on a personal level. Each card acts as a different aid. For example, if you are traveling and want to be protected in your travels, you will probably want to carry around Anubis with you. It is important to develop a bond with each card. This can only be accomplished by carrying the card around with you.
Finally, Cartouche is also used in meditation. In order to meditate on a particular Cartouche card, you first have to understand the nature and energies of each card. As you do this, what will happen over time is that you will be more drawn to certain symbols over others. Each card will also attract different types of people as well. For example, many small children are attracted to Isis, while sportsmen are normally attracted to Sirius. It is important to find a card that you develop an inner piece with, otherwise the meditative aspect will not be realized fully.
As you can see, there are a lot of uses for Cartouche. Over time, you will find the ones that you have the most feeling for.
Even if it doesn't involve telling the future.

Should Subject Move To Georgia?
Well, I commenced the reading for a Star Spread and here's how the cards fell.
1. Lotus (Reversed)
2. Ankh (Reversed)
3. The Twins (Reversed)
4. Nephthys (Reversed)
5. Winged Disk (Reversed)
There you have it. I'll let you think about this reading for a few days and then I'll come back with the answer.

Answer To Cartouche Reading
Should Subject Move To Georgia?
Here were the cards as they came up in a Star spread.
1. Lotus (Reversed)
2. Ankh (Reversed)
3. The Twins (Reversed)
4. Nephthys (Reversed)
5. Winged Disk (Reversed)
Here is the analysis of the reading.
1. Lotus (Reversed) - Nature of the problem. This card in reversed position shows that the subject is agitated over something and is withdrawing into their own little world. I could sense that something was troubling the subject and that they felt that they needed to get away. I couldn't help wonder what it was.
2. Ankh (Reversed) - This is the cause of the problem. In this case, the Ankh reversed shows that the cause of the problem is some kind of rejection. I was starting to get a feel for what was going on and would ask the subject at the end of the reading. There was some definite loss involved here.
3. The Twins (Reversed) - Indicates factors to be considered. This card in reverse shows separation. There is no question that there is some distance here that probably needs to be considered. I was almost pretty sure at this point what the problem was.
4. Nephthys (Reversed) - This card indicates the solution to the problem. This card, also reversed, indicates that there is no real solution to this problem. This card in reverse is one of great tension and disillusion. There will be little good coming out of running away from the problem. Therefore, the solution I chose was to stay here and address the issue.
5. Winged Disk (Reversed) - This card represents the outcome based on the solution we choose. The outcome, based on this solution, shows absolute failure. There is no question that the solution I chose wouldn't be any better than running away. This was indeed a no win situation.
Well, I had to ask what was going on. I guessed that there was a relationship that had gone terribly wrong. I was right. It was a heartbreaking one as they had been together for a very long time. This was the reason why the subject wanted to move to Georgia because they had friends there and just wanted to get away. Trying to work things out in this case would have solved nothing. So ultimately, I told the subject it would be best to move on.
Is that what you guessed? I know this was a tricky one because of the negative result based on our solution, but if you figured this out, congratulations.

Should I Confront My Friend About His Drinking Problem?
I did a Star Spread and here's how the cards came out.
1. Uraeus (Reversed)
2. Buckle Of Isis
3. Air
4. Set
5. Ankh (Reversed)

So what do you think? Should my friend confront his friend about his drinking problem based on this spread?

Answer To Cartouche Reading
Should I Confront My Friend About His Drinking Problem?
Here's the cards that came out in a Star spread that I did for him.
1. Uraeus (Reversed)
2. Buckle Of Isis
3. Air
4. Set
5. Ankh (Reversed)
As I said when I posted this reading, I cringed when I saw these cards.
Today we're going to find out why when I analyze this reading.
1. Uraeus (Reversed) - This is the nature of the problem. Shows that the subject is concerned about some very bad things that his friend is doing, some even illegal. This is the main reason he feels he needs to confront him.
2. Buckle Of Isis - This card is the cause of the problem. This card took a lot of analysis as it wasn't what it appeared to be on the surface. This card actually shows that the cause is changes to the person's home life, possibly a new arrival like a child.
3. Air - This card represents factors to be considered. In this case, the major factors have to do with the person's career. It seems that his drinking problem is most affecting his performance at his job. If he doesn't stop, he is in danger of losing it. This would have a terribly adverse affect on his home life.
4. Set - This card represents the solution. In this case, it is beyond question that my friend is to delay approaching his friend about his drinking problem. Doing so now would only make matters worse. This was the one card I didn't want to see in this position and it came up.
5. Ankh (Reversed) - This card represents the outcome IF the solution is followed through on. No, it's not good. This card clearly shows that the end result will be that the subject's friend will most likely lose his job and things will begin to fall apart.
Well, what happened is that the friend lost his job and after losing it, realized that he had to clean up his act. So he went to AA and eventually got his life back together. It took a long time and there was years of suffering, but this was the only way he was going to change his life. If the subject had confronted him. his friend would have rebelled and most likely would have ended up much worse off. So this was the lesser of two evils.
If you guessed that the subject should not have confronted his friend, you were right.
Cartouche Instruction
Handling Your Cards
The main thing to understand about the handling of the Cartouche is that the vibrations of your body are passed on to the cards on both a psychological and physical level. In a sense, the order in which these cards fall during the course of a reading is controlled by your subconscious. This is why, when you do a reading, many times you will let your emotions override your logic, in spite of what the card itself might suggest. I do this almost instinctively and rarely does this method fail me.
So how do you handle the cards?
For starters, as you're breaking your cards in you must NOT let anybody else touch them. Allowing the vibrations of others to mix with your own will throw the accuracy of your readings off by miles. This is one of the first lessons that every card master learns when he first starts out.
When shuffling the cards, do not attempt to change their orientation, whether normal or reversed. If a card is meant to be reversed, it will reverse itself during the course of shuffling, such as when some cards may fall out of the deck while shuffling. When this happens, place the card back in the way it fell out. So if a card reverses on its way out, the put it back in reversed.
How will you know when cards are sufficiently broken in or "seasoned" in order to use them for a reading? You won't. This is something that happens over time. At the start, your readings will probably not be as accurate as later on, simply because your vibrations haven't significantly penetrated the cards. In time, they will and your readings will become more accurate. This is why it is important, especially after you first get your cards, to handle them as often as possible.
One way to properly season the cards is to take a different card each night and handle it, using it for meditation purposes. Doing this over a period of a few weeks should be more than sufficient to plant the proper vibrations from your body into the cards.
By following these instructions, your Cartouche deck should properly respond to its owner for both meditation, talisman and reading purposes.

Answer To Cartouche Reading
Will My Love Life Get Better?
Here were the cards as they came out in the Star spread that I ultimately decided on doing.
1. Scarab (Reversed)
2. Ankh
3. Water
4. Uraeus
5. Buckle Of Isis (Reversed)
Here is my analysis of the reading. See if it matches yours.
1. Scarab (Reversed) - This is the nature of the problem. This card shows a couple of problems. One is that he has had much rejection in the past and the other is that he honestly doesn't work on trying to make things better in this area. He neglects his love life. This will not make it easier for him to make it better.
2. Ankh - This is the cause of the problem. This may seem like a strange card, but in reality it's not. The cause of the problem is that he gets so much love from his family and others in his life, that he expects it to come to him when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex, and it doesn't work that way. In other words, he's spoiled.
3. Water - These are the factors to be considered. In this case, he needs to get more in touch with his emotions. He needs to understand that you have to give love to get love. He needs to be more open with others.
4. Uraeus - This is the solution. In this case, it's simple. He just needs to be honest with women and not be afraid to be vulnerable. By not hiding his feelings, he'll have a much better chance at having a pleasant love life.
5. Buckle Of Isis (Reversed) - The end result, unfortunately, shows total selfishness and barrenness. Obviously, the subject isn't going to take the advice of the solution.
I warned the subject that hanging on to his old ways wasn't going to help him any. He said he would try to be better at this, but to this day he's still by himself.
Some people, unfortunately, can't be helped.
Anyway, if you guessed that his love life wouldn't get better, you were right.

The 4 Elements - Part 1
Why? Is there anything significant about this other than the cards themselves with their individual meanings? Is this a sign that the world is going to tilt on its axis the wrong way or worse, blow up?
Technically, there is really nothing significant about coming up with all 4 elements in a spread. But, from my experience, I have found that many spreads with these 4 elements turn out to be some fascinating readings bringing about some interesting results.
Without going into any specific readings, what I have found to be true of almost all the spreads I've done featuring all 4 elements are the following:
1. The subject was going through some major changes in his or her life. In many cases there was an unexpected change of job, residence, and even, unfortunately, multiple deaths in the family. I personally went through a phase like that between the ages of 15 and 20. I wish I had somebody to do readings for me then. I am sure there would have been some interesting cards coming up.
2. The subject was going through one of the most interesting times in his or her life. Multiple paths with multiple opportunities were opening up and the subject more or less could pick the path and anything chosen would have turned into gold.
3. The subject was the most confused of his or her life. There was chaos all around and making a rational decision on anything was almost close to impossible.
If you will observe all these items, you will see that they all have one thing in common, energy, lots of it. When you have all 4 elements working at once, you are going to have an abundance of energy. Sometimes that can be a good thing and at other times, it can be totally destructive.
Naturally, a lot has to do with the orientation of each card, What I have discovered, and this makes sense, is that if the majority of the cards are reversed, then most of the energy is negative. If the majority of cards are in their normal orientation, then most of the energy is positive.
But what happens when the cards fall 2 and 2?
This is where I did the bulk of my study and found some fascinating results when analyzing the readings.
More results to come.

Will My Son Graduate From College?
Here were the cards that came out in the Star spread I did.
1. Sphinx
2. Hathor (Reversed)
3. Isis
4. Lotus
5. Nephthys
I am now going to reveal my analysis of the reading.
1. Sphinx - This is the nature of the problem. This card shows that the son is not sharing his college experience with the parents. He is being very secretive about things. This is cause for concern.
2. Hathor (Reversed) - This is the cause of the problem. This shows that the son has always been intimidated by college and feels very insecure about the whole experience. Perhaps he feels going to college was a mistake for him.
3. Isis - This card represents the factors to be considered. This card shows that there is a love there for what the son is taking up in college. This is good, as it's always better to be studying something you really enjoy.
4. Lotus - This card represents the solution. Lotus shows that the son should definitely continue with his education and take time to meditate and relax in regard to the situation.
5. Nephthys - This card represents the end result of card 4 is followed through on. This is a strange card to come up for such mundane matters. I had to reflect on it for a while before coming up with my final analysis.
My final analysis was that the son was going to graduate college because there was an inner peace that I couldn't quite put my finger on. As scared as the son probably was about college, it appears that even if he's not the brightest bulb in the box, he was enjoying what he was doing and ultimately that enjoyment would get him through.
The actual end result was that he did indeed graduate college, though just barely.
So if you guessed that he would, you were right.

Answer To Cartouche Reading
Will My Lawsuit Be Settled In My Favor?
Here's how the cards fell for the Star Spread.
1. Ptah
2. Thoth (Reversed)
3. Winged Disk
4. Scarab
5. Lotus
Now, here is my analysis of the spread.
1. Ptah - This card is the nature of the problem. This card shows that the lawsuit in question may have been the result of some creative thinking. In other words, a bit of a stretch.
2. Thoth (Reversed) - This card is the cause of the problem. The cause is clearly some misfortune that happened to the subject but possibly from his own doing.
3. Winged Disk - This card shows factors to be considered. in this case the factors to be considered are simply that he is fortunate to be able to even pursue this lawsuit because of the nature and the position he put himself in. Therefore, it may be a good idea to take advantage of it. The last 2 cards will tell us for sure.
4. Scarab - This card is the solution to the problem. This was a very interesting card that came up. I interpreted this to mean that the subject should accept what has happened, understand that he put himself into this situation and not pursue the lawsuit but try to settle out of court.
5. Lotus - The final outcome, should the subject take my advice, would be that they would settle out of court, for a lot less, but things would go on as normal and there would be little disruption in his life.
Well, the subject said there was no way he was going to settle out of court and he was going for everything he could get. I warned him then that if he pursued this course, he would lose the lawsuit.
Well, guess what? He didn't take my advice, went to court and lost the case because of things that came out during the trial that he had done that weren't exactly on the up and up. Somehow this didn't surprise me.
So, if you guessed that he didn't win the lawsuit, in spite of a good reading, you were right.
Yes, this was a tricky one.

Answer To Cartouche Reading
Will My Health Improve?
These are the cards that turned up in a Star Spread.
1. Sphinx (Reversed)
2. Hathor
3. Sirius
4. Pyramid
5. Osiris
Here is the analysis of the reading.
1. Sphinx (Reversed) - This card is the nature of the problem. This clearly shows that the nature of the problem is that my friend simply didn't take care of himself and neglected his health.
2. Hathor - This is the cause of the problem. This card shows, again, that bad eating habits are the cause of the bad health.
3. Sirius - This is the factors to be considered. This card indicates that by paying attention to his health and working to improve it, his stamina and physical strength will also improve.
4. Pyramid - This card indicates the solution. In this case, the solution is time. By changing his eating habits and taking care of himself, time will take care of things.
5. Osiris - This is the final outcome based on the solution. This card indicates that his health will stabilize somewhat, if not improve greatly.
The truth is, there is only so much my friend was going to be able to do given his condition. But he did take my advice to change his living habits and as a result he hasn't gotten any worse and his health has improved slightly. So while this reading wasn't a slam dunk, at least it was in the positive direction.
So, if you guessed that my friends health improved, you were right. But don't feel too bad if you said it didn't.

Will My Son Move Back Home?
I did a Star spread and this is how the cards fell.

Will My Son Move Back Home?
I did a Star spread and this is how the cards fell.
1. Fire (Reversed)
2. Earth (Reversed)
3. Scarab
4. Bast (Reversed)
5. Crook And Flail (Reversed)
Okay, it's been a while since I posted this, so today I am revealing the answer. See if you guessed right.
1. Fire (Reversed) - This is the nature of the problem. This card disturbed me. It shows that there is little loyalty between mother and son. I couldn't help but wonder what caused this. But it's obvious that there is a riff.
2. Earth (Reversed) - This shows the cause of the problem. This card tells me that the two have drifted apart because of lack of effort on both parts and some pettiness.
3. Scarab - This card represents factors to be considered. In this case, the chance for renewal is very important and should not be ignored. Both parties might regret it if they let this opportunity go by.
4. Bast (Reversed) - This is the solution and unfortunately, this card suggests that the riff is so great that it simply needs to run its course. The mother should simply let the son get over whatever it is on his own.
5. Crook And Flail (Reversed) This is the final outcome. This is not what I wanted to see. Unfortunately, it shows that the mother is going to opt for trying to dominate her son and this will lead to him drifting farther apart.
Based upon my reading, I decided that the son would not be moving back in. To this day, it never happened, as I suspected. So, if you guessed that the son would not move back home, you were correct.

Will My Wife's Surgery Have Any Complications?
Here's how the cards fell.
1. Buckle Of Isis (Reversed)
2. Lotus (Reversed)
3. Water
4. Sirius (Reversed)
5. Thoth
Today, I am revealing the analysis of the readng.
1. Buckle Of Isis (Reversed) - This is the nature of the problem. This card disturbed me. It shows that there is a lack of a real bond in the relationship and a degree if selfishness on the part of the husband. I needed to look farther.
2. Lotus (Reversed) - This is the cause of the problem. This card also disturbed me. It shows a possible breakup in the marriage and that things in general are not going well. I didn't want to pry, but I couldn't help but wonder.
3. Water - These are factors to be considered. In this case, there needs to be some sympathy on both parties behalf. Whatever problems there are, they need to reflect on them and understand what's really important. There seems to be something here worth saving that goes beyond the surgery itself.
4. Sirius (Reversed) - This is the solution. I was hoping for a better card here. I didn't get it. The solution is one that normally isn't good but in this case, it is the only option. Both parties need to be stubborn and not give in to the easy way out. They need to fight to get back to where they need to be. Their will, if they hold on fast to this, will get them through the ordeal.
5. Thoth - This is the final outcome. This couldn't be a better card. This is the card of health and healing. I had no doubt that if the husband fights for his wife, things will be fine.
I didn't want to pry, so this is what I told the husband. I told him to go to his wife and tell her that he loves her and that with faith, they can get through anything, even this. I told him to tell her he loves her and that they can work out their problems, whatever is to come.
The end result was that the surgery went well and she's fine. The husband then told me afterwards that they had been having problems and sensed that I felt this. I told him that I did. He thanked me for my advice and that was the end of it.
It was one of my most satisfying readings, not because of my analysis but because the subject listened to me.
Not everybody does.
If you guessed that the surgery went well, good for you. If you didn't read into the deeper meaning of this reading, don't worry, that will come in time.

Will My Book Be Published?
Answer To Cartouche Reading
Will My Book Be Published?
This is how the cards fell for a Star spread that I did.
1. Ptah
2. The Twins
3. Horus (Reversed)
4. Anubis (Reversed)
5. Buckle Of Isis (Reversed)
Here is the analysis of the spread.
1. Ptah - This card shows that the person is very inventive and the work created was quite ingenious. This was a very good sign.
2. The Twins - This card explains the reason for the question. In this case, it is because this contract or publishing is extremely important to the person and they are looking for a more long time relationship with whatever publisher they land with.
3. Horus (reversed) - This card represents outside factors and forces to be considered. This card shows that the subject is very insecure about this venture and might be too timid and reserved to pull this off. This concerned me as I feared that his not making a firm statement would work against him.
4. Anubis (reversed) - This card represents the solution. In this case, diplomacy is in order and something the subject must work at as it's not one of his strong points. This could be his undoing.
5. Buckle Of Isis (reversed) - This card represents the final outcome and it isn't good at all. This clearly shows that the book won't be published. If anything, I saw little hope for it and mostly because the subject has such a big problem with diplomacy.
Well, needless to say, the book was not published and eventually the subject scrapped the whole idea.
Not a very pleasant outcome, but sometimes they happen that way.
But this might cheer you up. My new book on Diceology is out and I'm sure you'll want to see what it's all about. You can view it at the URL below.

The Marriage Of Cartouche And Diceology
How Did It Happen?
Good question. Here's the honest answer.
I worked at it.
See, even though I did do some readings using the Cartouche, I used these cards primarily or meditation, which quite honestly, is their best use.
Well, something inside of me said that this was a waste of some great potential and because of that, I decided to see if I could incorporate the two divination methods into one. It did take some time, but in the end, it was worth it.
Why?
The Diceology Cartouche readings were just as accurate, if not more so than the Cartouche or Diceology readings alone. Plus, where Cartouche was more geared towards the spiritual side of things, with the addition of Diceology to the mix, I started to have more accurate readings on the more physical side, or mundane everyday life side of things.
As a result, I had something where the whole was greater than the sum of its parts.
I now do more combined readings than I ever did just Cartouche readings alone, so it was certainly worth the effort.
If you want to check out my 6 book series, one of which is just on the combining of Diceology and Cartouche, you can find them at the following URL:

I promise you that you'll find it the most fascinating science you've ever encountered.
