My Core Numbers

Shortly after I lost my job in 1999, I started to dabble in Numerology. I became totally intrigued by it, so much in fact that I devoted years of study to it. I got every book I could get my hands on. I would have gone to a professional but I just couldn't afford the fees.

Sadly, I have to admit, I kind of lost interest in Numerology, at least in comparison to Astrology and Tarot Card readings. And of course, developing my own form of divination, shortly thereafter, didn't help matters much. But lately, and don't ask me why, I have become fascinated by this science yet again.

For those of you who are intersted in my numerical stats, I am presenting them here.

My birthday is 11/11/1957

My full name is Steven Martin Wagenheim.

My Life Path Number, which is calculated from my birthday, is as follows:

11 + 11 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 7 = 44 = 8

My Destiny Number, which is computed from my whole name, is:

STEVEN MARTIN WAGENHEIM
125455 419295 517558594

22 + 3 + 4 = 29 = 11/2

My Soul Number, which comes from the vowels of my name is:

5 + 5 = 10 = 1
1 + 9 = 10 = 1
1 + 5 + 5 + 9 = 20 = 2

1 + 1 + 2 = 4

My Personality Number, which comes from the consenants of my name is:

1 + 2 + 4 + 5 = 12 = 3
4 + 9 + 2 + 5 = 20 = 2
5 + 7 + 5 + 8 + 4 = 29 = 11

3 + 2 + 11 = 16 = 7

My Maturity Number is my Life Path Number and my Destiny Number added together, which is:

8 + 11 = 19 = 10 = 1

My personal Cosmic Code is the sum of my...

Life Path Number = 8
Destiny Number = 11/2
Soul Number = 4
Personality Number = 7
Maturity Number = 1

Which comes out to 8 + 11 + 4 + 7 + 1 = 31 = 4

My new form divination, which will be coming out at the end of 2007, will be taking these numbers to a whole new dimension.

In the meantime, take a look at these numbers and see if you can come up with some characteristics of my personality.

You can sign my guest book and tell me what you think about me if you like.

More coming soon.

Numerology - What's In A Number?

You know what quite often gets lost in the occult science of Numerology? We get so caught up in calculating the numerical values of our names, place of residence, birth dates and so on, that we completely forget what the individual digits of our number system mean. For those of you who are new to this, you might want to give yourself a brief overview of the 9 numbers that we use in Numerology.

The number 1 is probably going to be obvious, even to those who are not into Numerology. This number is the beginning of something. It also represents the individual or somebody's independence. It also stands for leadership. Some of the lesser used meanings for this number are determination, innovation, courageousness and strong-will. There are Numerologists who insist that the number 1 is the strongest number and the foundation of all numbers to come. While this is hard to argue, I'm personally on the fence between numbers 1 and 9 as the strongest. The debates will go on for ages, I am sure.

The number 2 is the number of harmony. This is the "female" to the more male oriented number 1. The number 2 represents compromise and cooperation. The number 2 brings balance and is patient and loving. There are those who believe that the number 2 was created to keep the strong number 1 in check.

The number 3 is the number of self-expression. This number is very creative, enthusiastic, imaginative, inspirational and optimistic. You will find that many artistic people like musicians, painters and actors have a great deal of 3's in their Numerology analysis.

The number 4 is what I call the work number. This number stands for planning and management, stability, security, tradition, practicality and caution. Without the number 4, the order of the universe would probably total chaos.

The number 5 is the number of freedom. This is where you will find people who enjoy variety in their life. This number is very unconventional, rebellious, progressive, resourceful, magnetic and quick thinking. People who have a lot of number 5's in their analysis are like wild horses. You never know what they're going to do next. These people may very well have the most fun in their lives.

The number 6 is the number of family and responsibility. This number is very nurturing, has a sense of duty, is very romantic, has an almost burning need to be of service to community, is the ruler of marriage and divorce as well as beauty. My mother is loaded with this number in her chart and it shows in her personality.

The number 7 is the loner and a very mystical number. One need only look to the bible to see how prevalent this number is. The number 7 is very philosophical, analytical to the point of driving all others around him crazy, intuitive, skeptical and an absolute perfectionist. Don't ever try to understand a person who is surrounded by this number. You won't stand a chance.

The number 8 is one step away from completion and perfection and acts like it. This number is one of power and mastery, money and materialism, success and abundance. This number is the boss, or at least likes to think it is. It is also the number of achievement, organization and recognition, as well as great vision. Number 8 personalities are some of the most successful people in this world.

Finally, we have the number 9 which is the number of completion and perfection. This number also has great compassion, something number 8 knows nothing of simply because it has not yet reached that ultimate plateau. This number is also the number of spirituality, forgiveness and reward. Those dominated by this number are very multitalented. If the world was filled with number 9's we would probably have Shangrila.

Now that you know what all the numbers mean, in the future when we do some readings of famous personalities, you'll be able to get a good idea of what makes these people tick.

More to come.

Numerology - What's YOUR Lucky Number?

I have always been fascinated by lucky numbers that people have. My stepfather's lucky number was 5. He played it every time we went to the shore on those games where you spin the wheel for a prize. He actually won once. I'll never forget how excited I was when I thought we were winning the big stuffed animal. But then the guy pulled the switcherooo on us. But I digress. At the time, I was too young to know what my stepfather's lucky number really meant as a 10 year old kid. Today, it's a totally different story.

I look at what the number 5 means in Numerology terms and I can't help but smile. It described my stepfather, God rest his soul, to a tea. Rebellious, in need of freedom, change, variety, and very magnetic, which explains why my mother was so attracted to him. The number he chose was so much a part of him that is was downright scary.

And then there's my wife. As I am writing this, I asked her, "Donna, what's your lucky number?" Without even thinking about it, she said 4. I had to laugh. I probably could have guessed. See, my wife is a school teacher with over 25 years experience. She is also an avid church goer, teaches Sunday School and I can go on and on. Donna is very sold, stable, traditional, practical and a hard worker; all characteristics of the number 4, which she chose for herself. Or did the number choose her? Something to consider.

My favorite number has always been the number 7, since long before I ever learned to play craps. The characteristics of that number describe me quite accurately. I'm a loaner, mystical, very deep, analytical (I'm a computer programmer and a math whiz) a perfectionist (and drive everybody crazy because of it) and very skeptical of things, which is why it's almost a miracle that I believe in this stuff to begin with. But I can't ignore all the signs. There are forces at work in our lives, more powerful than anything we can possibly comprehend.

So tell me, what's YOUR lucky or favorite number? Does it describe who YOU are?

You might be surprised to find out the answer to that question.

More to come.

What's Your Easter Going To Be Like?

Every once in a while, I like to do something fun with Numerology, so I decided to see how this Easter was going to be for the world.

Easter falls on 4/23/2008 this year.

So, let's do a little math

4 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 8 = 19 = 10 = 1

Well, what do you know...this Easter is going to be a day of new beginnings for a lot of people. I know it will be for me.

And when you think about the day Easter itself, it really IS a day of new beginnings. It's the end of Jesus' stay on Earth and the beginning of his reign up in heaven.

So this year's Easter is very special as the number crunching for the day comes out to be 1.

Anyway, I thought I'd have a little fun with this installment of the Numerology Corner.

See you again soon.

Oh, and speaking of new beginnings, don't forget to check out my brand new form of divination that took me 25 years to develop.

You can read about it here.

Looking At 2008

First of all, I want to apologize for being away so long. I have been very busy completing my latest book. I'll tell you more about that later. But for now, I want to talk about 2008.

What kind of year is it going to be? Will it be a good one for you?

Let's take a look at the numbers.

2 + 0 + 0 + 8 = 10 = 1

Well, this is a year of new beginnings. It certainly is for me with my new book that I am very excited about. That's the reason why I waited until 2008 to release it. I knew this was just the right time.

But let's also look at the individual numbers that make up this great year.

The number 2 is, unlike the number 1 which is very aggressive, is very passive. This number is patient. This tells me that even though I am coming out with my new book, I should be patient with the results as they won't happen right away. This is good for me to keep in mind so that I don't get discouraged if things don't take off as quickly as I would like.

The number 8 is the number of power, money and great accomplishment. This actually started for me at the end of 2007. I know that I will be accomplishing great things this year as I have several projects lined up between myself and others.

Needless to say, I am very excited about 2008. I can already see that it will be one of my best years in a long time.

And most of that excitement is because of the series of books that I just finished on a brand new form or divination that has been 25 years in the making called Diceology. If you haven't heard of it, don't worry...you will. This is going to be very big.

Not only can you do a Diceology reading on its own, but you can also combine it with Astrology, Tarot Cards, Numerology and Cartouche.

If you'd like to pick up my FREE report that will explain to you how Diceology came to be, you can get it at the following URL:

http://www.diceology.com/report.html

I promise you that it is like nothing you have ever seen before.

In the meantime, I truly do wish you a prosperous 2008 and I will be updating this lens along with all my other lenses a lot more often.

Are You In Tune With The Universal Year?

Ah yes, the Universal Year. This is what I call the wildcard to numerology. No matter what your core numbers are, no matter what the current day is, no matter what the individual numbers are that make up your life, the Universal Year is the monkey wrench that can turn it all into a grand event or a mass of confusion. Most Numerologists underestimate the Universal Year. I do not. I have seen the Universal Year play havoc with my life more times than I care to admit.

Let's just look at the current year of 2007. The sum is 9, but there is still the 2 and 7 to contend with on a lesser scale. But let's take a look at that number 9. This is the year of so called completion, perfection, and what I like to refer to as the final reward or the payoff. How does this coincide with a lot of what's going on in my life? Well, for one thing, this is the year where my business finally reached what may very well be its pinnacle. This will be the most money I've earned online since beginning my quest 4 years ago. In other areas, this is the year where it appears that my marriage has reached its highest level as far as the deep love and commitment between my wife and I. We've never been closer.

However, on a lower level, I also have the 2 and 7 to contend with. The number 7, which I mentioned in another post, is my lucky number, which just so happens to reveal my true personality of being a loaner. This year has definitely seen me keep more to myself because of building my business. There has been almost no outside world for me except for my church activities. I literally live at the computer.

The number 2, on the other hand, seems to have taken a real beating this year and is almost a non factor. My life is in no way balanced. There can be no compromise when it comes to my business. I'm working for the future of my wife and daughter and ultimately I have their welfare in mind by doing the things that I do day in and day out. My patience is also almost non existent. Fortunately, not all my number 2 qualities have taken a beating. I am very sensitive to the needs and wants of my family. Fortunately, they also understand that I need to concentrate on business if we're going to put our daughter through college at $35,000 a year.

Yes, the Universal Year can play havoc with you core numbers. So tell me, are you in tune with the Universal Year?

Poor Little Zero, Aint Good For Nuthin? Not Really!

If you're into Numerology, you know that the only numbers we deal with are the numbers 1 through 9 and of course the Master Numbers 11, 22 and 33. However, nowhere in our practice of Numerology do we do anything with the number zero. So this would lead one to believe that the zero is just a useless waste of space. This couldn't be farther from the truth. The number zero has a significance that most people do not understand, even those who consider themselves accomplished numerologists. Today's Numerology Corner is going to focus on that poor little good for nuthin' number zero.

Okay, so just what is it with the number zero? I mean we really don't do anything with it. When we have, say, a birthday that falls on the 10th of the month, we drop the zero and we use the 1 as your birthday number. So just what significance does the number zero have, if any at all?

The number zero represents energy that is not yet fully formed. It's kind of like potential energy, for those of you who remember you physics. However, it's really more than just potential. In a sense, the number zero serves as a modifier for the number associated with it. Think of it as a steroid injection for the number it goes with.

For example, let's take somebody who was born on the 30th of a month. This birthday would signify somebody who loved to express themselves, was creative, enthusiastic and imaginative. The zero would further enhance these qualities. The same thing would be true about somebody born in a year that ended in zero, like 1960, 1970 and so on. A person born in 1960, with a value of 16/7, would be a loaner, mystical and very deep on an even greater level than other 7's because of the zero modifier.

Years are especially susceptible to the zero effect, especially years that have multiple zeros. Just recently, we had the year 2000. Think about how rare this is. We won't see another year with three successive zeros for another 1000 years. The year 2000 was a very special year and most people could feel it. The excessive energy added from the three zeros greatly magnified the harmonious properties of that year. In addition to this, the years from 2000 to 2009 are also greatly magnified because of the double zeros.

Nobody fully understands the energies of the number zero, but the most definitely do exist and play an important part in our numerical lives.

More to come.

Reducing Numbers

For beginning Numerologists, one of the most confusing aspects of the science is how to reduce numbers when adding then together. While there are no hard and fast rules, other than you never reduce master numbers 11, 22 and 33, there are simple ways and more complex ways to reduce numbers when working with them. I'm going to cover a few of these methods and give you my personal preference.

Let's use the date 12/23/1965 for computing our Life Path Number.

One way to add the numbers is straight across and then reduce, like this.

1+ 2 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 5 = 29 = 2 + 9 = 11/2

Another way to add the numbers is in groups, and then reduce, like this.

(1 + 2) = 3 + (2 + 3) = 5 + (1 + 9 + 6 + 5) = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3

By adding each group, we get...

3 + 5 + 3 = 11/2

Another method is to add the numbers whole as such...

12 + 23 + 1965 = 2000 = 2

Finally, you can do double digit adding as such...

12 + 23 + 1965 = 3 + 5 + 21 = 3 + 5 + 3 = 11/2

As you can see, in 3 of the 4 methods, you end up with 11/2, which is a master number.

When you get the same result in at least 2 of the 4 methods, that's the result you should use as it will most likely be the most accurate. In this case, getting 11/2 in 3 of the 4 methods, there is no question that the Life Path Number of this birthday is 11/2

By following this simple rule of thumb, you should have no trouble reducing any of the numbers that you're working with.

More to come.

Learning The Main Numbers

One of the first things you need to do, if you're going to study Numerology, is to learn the main numbers that Numerology deals with. I'm not speaking about the numbers 1 through 9, but the meanings of the numbers that we compute from these basic building blocks. This section is going to briefly go over the main ones, giving a general description of each. This will serve as the foundation upon which everything else will be built.

Your Life Path Number - This is the path that you will walk in this lifetime. This number shows your gifts and talents that you will use to help fulfill your destiny.

Your Destiny Number - This number shows the purpose and direction of your life. This number represents your calling and mission in life. This is one of the strongest of all the Numerological indicators.

Your Soul Number - This number represents what you want more than anything else in this life. You could say that this number is your heart's desire. Many times this number is in conflict with our destiny number, thus making our decisions very difficult.

Your Personality Number - This is the number that you show to others. This is the clothes your wear, the face you put on and the way others see you. This can be one of the most deceptive of all the numbers.

Your Maturity Number - This number shows the direction that you're going to take in the second half of your life. In most cases, this represents the real you after you've gotten past the stage of your life where you've put on a "brave" face.

Your Life Lesson Numbers - These are the numbers which aren't included in your name. These represent the things that you will need to learn throughout your life.

Your Pinnacles - These numbers are the 4 phases of your life that show what your greatest achievements will be. These are some of the most important numbers in your life.

Your Challenges - These are the four doors you will need to pass through in order to reach your greatest accomplishments in your life. The numbers representing these four doors represent the difficulties that you're going to face.

Your Major Cycles - These are the 3 major divisions in your life. These divisions tell of the themes that will govern your time while on this earth. These numbers give more meaning to your Pinnacles and Challenges.

Your Personal Year - This number tells where to focus your energy for each individual year. This number will change each year. In order to live in peace and harmony with your surroundings, this number indicates what you must face to do just that.

Your Personal Months and Days - These numbers show you how to organize your day to day living by preparing for upcoming events. These numbers must be calculated daily.

Your Birthday Number - This number shows a special talent that you have. It also shows a lesson that you will attempt to learn in your lifetime.

In future posts, we'll go into each of these numbers in greater detail.

What Do I Do With My Name?

For most people, figuring out the numerical values of their name is easy.

John Doe

Simple enough, right?

But for some people, who weren't fortunate enough to have been given simple names, they run into some confusion as to what to do when it comes time to doing the calculations.

For example:

What if you were born with the name "John Williams" but everybody, including your parents, calls you Jack? Do you use Jack Williams to figure out your numerical calculations or John Williams? The rule is simple, when figuring out your profile, you use the name you were given at birth, no matter WHAT people call you.

What if you were given one name at birth, like Peter Bevins, and later on, after a few days, your parents decided that they wanted to call you Paul instead? If the name change was officially made to your birth certificate, then that's the name you use, regardless of what you started out as.

What if you were given a "sacred name" such as at a confirmation? In this case, you would use your confirmation name ONLY to see what new energies were brought into your life, but you would still use your original name to figure out your profile and Destiny Number.

What if you were given a name like "John Henry James Higgens?" If you were given more than one middle name at birth, even if you are known by just John Higgens, you still use ALL your names when computing your profile.

What if you have a name like "Henry Harrison III" of "Joe Martin Jr."? If this is the case, you drop the Jr. or Sr. or II or III or whatever comes after your last name. So in essence, you'll have the same numbers as your father. However, your different birth date will determine the path you walk.

There you have it. If there's any confusion on what name to use when calculating your numbers, these are the rules to follow.

Memorizing The Numerical Values Of The Letters

One of the hardest things about Numerology is to try to memorize the numerical values of each letter of the alphabet. The first few aren't too hard, but once you get into the middle of the alphabet, it starts to get a little tricky. So, in order to memorize the values for each of the letters, I've come up with some ways to do this easily without having to carry around a conversion chart.

Let's start with the letters AJS. These letters all have a value of 1. How can we remember this?

I came up with A Juicy Steak. How do we equate this to the number one? Well, we're talking about "A" Juicy Steak, or ONE steak. Therefore, the letters AJS correspond to the number 1.

The next 3 letters are BKT which have a value of 2. How can we remember this?

I came up with Binomials Kill Teachers. Binomials are equations with 2 parts. Thus we equate BKT with the number 2.

The next 3 letters are CLU, which have a value of 3. These letters together sound very much like the word "clue". So I simply came up with "3 clues". Taking the first 3 letters, you'll get your CLU.

The next 3 letters are DMV, which have the value of 4. This is a great abbreviation for "Division of Motor Vehicles" which is a real sore spot for most people. As a matter of fact, when I think of DMV, I usually think of some 4 letter words to go with it. So, DMV goes with the number 4. If you've had trouble with your motor vehicle place, you can relate to this.

The next 3 letters are ENW which have a value of 5. For this one, I came up with Extra Newport Wheel. If you remember the old Newport, which was an automobile, you know that automobiles have 4 wheels. If you have an extra one then you have 5 wheels. Trust me, it will stick.

The next 3 letters are FOX. This is a very easy one. Just think of "6 foxy ladies" Or "Fox has an X in it and the number 6 or six, also has an X in it."

The next 3 letters are GPY. These letters have the value of 7. This one is a little tricky but if you tie it all together, it works. I came up with "Go Play Yahtzee." As you know, this game is played with dice. Dice also happens to be used for the great game of craps. In craps, the object is to roll a 7 to win. Okay, it's roundabout, but it works.

The next 3 letters are HQZ. These letters have a value of 8. I came up with "Hates Quiet Zoos". In this case, hate sounds like 8. Just think hate and 8 and that silly phrase and you'll have it.

Finally we have the letters IR which have a value of 9. For this one I came up with "Internal Revenue" which is the agency that takes our money from us. And of course they take as much as they can or the most they can. In our case, the most, or biggest number is 9.

You're probably laughing now, but trust me, if you take just a few hours to study these, you'll have the letters of the alphabet memorized before you know it.

Numerology Corner

Our Lives Are All About Numbers

We don't think about it, not really. Truth is, we don't think about a lot of things that we do each day. After a while, our lives become sort of routine. We do things rather instinctively. Even at our jobs, after we get into a routine, we begin to do things without even thinking about them. Well, this same principal of doing things without thinking about them also applies to numbers. Our lives are all about numbers and we don't even realize it. I'm not just referring to numbers that we're exposed to. I'm talking about numbers that we choose for ourselves in so many situations without even realizing we're doing it.

For example, when we wake up in the morning, we've set our clock for a certain time, whether it be 7 AM or 8 AM or whatever. Now, we might like to think that we do this because we have no choice, because we have to get up and go to work and therefore we MUST be up at a certain time. But do we really? If we set our clocks for 7 AM because we have to be at work by 9 AM and we know it's going to take us about 30 minutes to shower and dress, 30 minutes for breakfast and an hour to travel to work, we could have decided to set our clocks for 6:45 to get an extra 15 minutes just in case we run into a little traffic or 7:15 if we feel we can dress a little quicker. The time we get up is a choice we make because of the number that we feel comfortable with. Some people feel comfortable with quarter hours and others only feel comfortable with hours and half hours.

What about when somebody says to you, "Can you help me with something?" and you're in the middle of doing something. Do you answer, "Just one minute" or do you answer "Give me five minutes" or something like that? There is a reason for the number of minutes we choose to respond with, and it's not always because what we're doing is going to take that long. In most cases what we're doing is going to take hours and we're simply looking for a number to shoot back to the person asking for our help that we feel comfortable with.

What about the station that we most choose to watch on TV? Do you really think it's all about the shows on that station? We develop a fondness for certain numbers. Where I live, when I was a kid, the major stations were 2 4 and 7. 4 I liked, 2 was okay, but 7 was my favorite. Did 7 have the best shows? Who knows? All I know is that I loved channel 7, even though I watched channels 2 and 4 as well. Channels 9 and 11, oddly enough, were stations I watched quite often as they usually showed things like Abbott and Costello and The 3 Stooges, but yet they weren't my favorite stations.

There's so much more. The times we choose to eat our meals, the number of TVs we have in the house, the number of cookies we choose to eat for our snacks. Some people hate odd numbers so they'll take 2 cookies but never 1 or 3. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of people who either love or hate odd or even numbers. I'm an even number person, even though channel 7 is my favorite TV station, but that's probably because 7 is my favorite number. However, next to 7, I prefer the even numbers. So you'll never see me eating just 1 cookie. Gotta have 'em in pairs.

If you sit down and think about almost everything you do, you'll realize that almost everything is about numbers. Once you realize this, you'll start to look for patterns in your number choices. I don't want you to go dwelling it because it will drive you nuts if you do, but just take notice of some of your number related activities, like how many minutes you exercise each day, or how many times you knock on a door, if there's no doorbell, or how many times you ring that doorbell. I'm a one ring person, but there are 2 ring people and even 3 ring people.

Once you figure out what numbers you are most attracted to, you'll be able to get an even better idea of what numbers have the most influence in your life, even beyond your Life Path Number, Soul Number and every other number associated with your name and birth date. Once you're able to do that, you'll then be able to control your numbers instead of having your numbers control you.

More to come...

Numerology Instruction

1 Is The Loneliest Number

Each number in Numerology has its own characteristic. Each one is distinct. And yet the sum of all the numbers in our life is greater than its individual parts. So it is with so many things in life. Take away just one piece of a puzzle and you've done more than just remove one piece. You've made the puzzle incomplete beyond description. Go on, try it sometime with a 5000 piece jigsaw puzzle. Remove one piece and stare at it for about 60 seconds. You'll be putting that piece back in before you can whistle Dixie.

So it is with numbers.

Still, each number has its own individual identity. The number 1 is a unique number in itself. It is the only number that has only one factor, itself. It is indeed the loneliest number. It stands alone and yet is also a leader. It's the one number we never want to be when it comes to companionship and the one number we crave to be when it comes to establishing our role in this world. It's almost a paradox. To lead, one must lead alone and yet to be alone is the worst thing that can happen to any one human being.

Still, we all have our individuality. Each one of us likes to think that we are unique, that there is nobody else like us on the face of the planet. The ironic thing is, we really don't have to work so hard at this. Just by our own DNA makeup, each one of us is totally unique. No two people share the exact same DNA, not even twins. There is always something that distinguishes us, even from our twin self. The times of a twins birth are at least minutes apart. This further makes twins unique individuals to each other.

The number 1 also stands for new beginnings. Everything in our life, no matter what it is, has a beginning. It may not end until our life ends, but everything has a beginning. Sometimes beginnings are planned, like when we decide to go to college. At other times, those beginnings are totally unexpected, such as when we're sitting in a restaurant and run into the person who we will someday marry. Life is so full of wonder in that way.

And yet, once the number 1 starts on its path, we never return to it again until the next new thing comes in our life. That's why there is never anything as wonderful as your first love or your first kiss. There is no thrill like your first hit record, if you're a musician. The list goes on and on, but I'm sure you get my drift.

The number 1 may be the loneliest number, but there is no number like it.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Numerology Reading

Should I Get Married?

Numerology readings can get very complicated. There are so many things to consider that you could spend a day just going through all the calculations. Honestly, I don't do a lot of Predictive Numerology because it's so time consuming. However, occasionally when I do have some free time, I will go all out for somebody.

I have asked for and received permission from this person to reprint this information since Numerology involves using people's names. Because I like to avoid potential legal problems, I will be doing very few of these. If in some cases I can change some of the letters of the names and still have the numbers come out right, I will do that.

Anyway, my friend wanted to know if he should get married.

This particular reading was done on June 27, 1991.

My friend's name is Peter David Linstrom

He was born on April 16, 1962

So, let's get his main numbers first.

Life Path Number = 4 + 16 + 1962 = 4 + 7 + 18(9) = 20 = 2

Destiny Number

Peter David Linstrom
75259 41494 39512964

28 + 22 + 39 = 10 + 4 + 12 = 1 + 4 + 3 = 8

Soul Number = 5 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 6 = 35 = 3 + 5 = 8

Personality Number = 7+2+9+4+4+4+3+5+1+2+9+4 = 54 = 5 + 4 = 9

Maturity Number = 2 + 8 = 10 = 1

We thus have the following:

Life Path Number = 2
Destiny Number = 8
Soul Number = 8
Personality Number = 9
Maturity Number = 1
Personal Cosmic Code = 1

Okay, now let's get to the Pinnacle and Challenge Numbers for my friend.

First Pinnacle = 2
Second Pinnacle = 7
Third Pinnacle = 9
Fourth Pinnacle = 4

First Challenge = 3
Second Challenge = 2
Third Challenge = 1
Fourth Challenge = 5

Okay, now we have to figure out when the Pinnacles and Challenges begin.

My friend's First Pinnacle lasts from the time of his birth to age 36 minus his Life Path Number.

My friend's Life Path Number is 2. So his First Pinnacle is from age 0 - 34 (36 - 2)
His Second Pinnacle is from the end of his First Pinnacle + 9
His Third Pinnacle is from the end of his Second Pinnacle + 9
His Fourth Pinnacle is from the end of his Third Pinnacle

My friend's Life Path Number is 2. So his First Pinnacle is from age 0 - 34 (36 - 2)
His Second Pinnacle is from the end of his First Pinnacle + 9
His Third Pinnacle is from the end of his Second Pinnacle + 9
His Fourth Pinnacle is from the end of his Third Pinnacle

And yet, look at his First Pinnacle. This is the one thing he has going for him that will certainly attract a member of the opposite sex. He's sensitive, well balanced, seeks harmony and very cooperative, especially during the first 34 years of his life.

It made me start to think that the reason he was asking about marriage was because he was feeling that he was running out of time. So I asked him, and sure enough, that's what all this was about.

Well, taking everything into consideration, I recommended to Peter that he didn't get married. Naturally, he was going to do what he wanted.

Long story short, Peter did get married and the marriage only lasted 5 years. Right around the time that his Second Pinnacle began, which was a period of him being a true loaner, was when the marriage dissolved.

These readings are not the kind of ones that you really feel good about, no matter how accurate they are. But it is a scary revelation of how numbers have such an impact on our lives.

Today, Peter is very happy by himself running his own business and having great success.

Sometimes you just can't escape your destiny.

Numerology Corner

Balance Of Power

I often get asked, in regard to Numerology, if it's good to have a lot of one particular number coming up in your main numbers, such as Life Path, Destiny, Soul, Personality and Maturity numbers? Their thinking is that if all your main numbers are the same, which is highly unlikely anyway, you're going to be very strong in those areas. And therein lies the fallacy in that kind of thinking.

Allow me to explain.

As human beings, we all have the same basic trait, abilities and emotions. Some of them are just more developed than others. However, if you're going to be a well rounded human being, you're going to want to exhibit a little bit of everything that human nature has to offer. In other words, having too much of one thing is not good.

There are two reasons for this.

The first, as I explained, is that you want to be well rounded as an individual. The second reason is that if you are dominated by one number what happens is that this number causes obsession.

For example, somebody who is ruled by the number 1 is going to be so self absorbed and independent that he's never going to be able to see the point of others, most likely will never bother to help others and will most likely be alone his whole life. While he might not care about any of this, nevertheless, it's going to affect his life in a negative way. Should the day ever come when he needs something from somebody, as what happens to many of us when we get older, he's going to have a hard time in both turning to somebody and in finding somebody who will be willing to tolerate his self centered behavior.

Let's say somebody is dominated by the number 2. They may become so sensitive, loving and giving, that they end up being a doormat for civilization. Should this happen, and should they ever get hurt terribly, this could lead to terrible emotional turmoil. I had a friend who unfortunately was dominated by this number and ended up not doing well at all as he got older. Eventually, it gets to you.

There is no such thing as a good or bad number, but too much of one characteristic can lead to problems.

When it comes to Numerology, you definitely want a balance of power.

Intro To Master Numbers

Ah yes, the Master Numbers. The real mysteries of Numerology. My birth date is loaded with Master Numbers. I was born on the 11th day of the 11th month and if you add up my birth year, 1957, it comes out to 22, which is another Master Number. No wonder I am such a complex and odd individual.

Each Master Number has a different overall meaning to it. The number 11 is our spiritual messenger. The number 22 is our master builder and the number 33 is our master of healing energies through love.

Master Numbers, though unique, are still written in ultimately reduced form such as 11/2, 22/4 and 33/6.

What many people don't know is that these aren't really the only Master Numbers. The sequence continues 44, 55, 66, 77, 88 and 99. However, in Numerology, we only concern ourselves with the first three Master Numbers. For those interested, there are meanings for all the Master Numbers. We just don't concern ourselves with them for a typical Numerology analysis.

Because Master Numbers are complex numbers, the people who have Master Numbers in their makeup are often quite complex individuals. For example, I am interested in so many things including computers, games, music, the occult, literature, sports, writing and the list goes on and on. If I had 100 hours in my day, I still wouldn't have time to devote to all my hobbies and interests.

People with Master Numbers in their makeup are also all too often emotionally on edge. They have so much energy going through them that it is difficult for them to sit in one place for very long. Relaxation is almost an impossibility. Many are great thinkers and ponder the meaning of life ad nauseam.

The theory is that people made up of many Master Numbers are old souls who carry a lot of wisdom with them. I don't know how true this is as I never considered myself very wise, but I have managed to help quite a few people through difficult times where making decisions was not an easy thing to do. So maybe I'm more wise than I realize.

While each Master Number is unique, there are some characteristics that Master Numbers share such as idealism, high creativity, demand for self mastery, high introspection and sensitivity, great power and enery, extremes of emotions, and this list goes on forever.

Probably the most common and powerful characteristic of the Master Numbers is their natural leadership ability. If you look throughout history, you will find many of our great leaders had Master Numbers sprinkled throughout their makeup.

In future posts, we'll go into more depth on these Master Numbers.

I have no doubt that you will find them quite fascinating.

Numerology Corner

The Challenge Of Master Numbers

One of the mistakes that most people make is to think that anyone with Master Numbers in their makeup has reached a level of perfection in their lives. They view them with awe and reverence. Well, this isn't always the case. So, it's time to clear up a few misconceptions about Master Numbers. They're not always what they appear to be.

The first thing you need to understand about Master Numbers is that they are not perfect. Yes, Master Numbers are representative of a higher level in our lives, but they are not perfect. Only God is perfect. Human beings fall a far cry from it. Master Numbers hold potential for much greatness, but they are not greatness in and of themselves.

It might surprise you to know that not everybody with a Master Number in their makeup has gone on to greatness. Many people have turned to drugs, crime of simply lives of little meaning. The reason for this is because the challenge of the Master Number is too great for them. Think about it. If you're under the influence of these higher power numbers, it can be a lot of pressure and a lot to live up to. Some people can't live up to or deal with this pressure. Those who can, many do go on to greatness. Those who can, many have their lives ruined by these numbers. But don't misunderstand. It's not the fault of the numbers but the fault of the person under the influence. We all have our own free will, regardless of what numbers influence our lives. What we do with that free will determines what becomes of us.

So yes, having many Master Numbers influencing our lives can certainly be a challenge. It is how we respond to that challenge that determines the kind of life we have, and NOT the numbers themselves.

Just wanted to clear that up, because sometimes numbers get a bad rap.

Picking The Place Where You Live

You can't pick the date you were born and you certainly can't pick your name, though I guess if you hated it enough, you could change it. But one thing you certainly can pick, especially when you go out on your own someday, is your home, or the place where you live. Why is this important? Well, I'm getting to that, so hang in there.

The place where you live takes into consideration many factors. In Numerological terms, these factors are the state where you live, the city where you live, the street where you live and finally the street number where you live. How do these things affect you personally? I'll explain.

The state where you live, in Numerological terms, gives a general overall idea of what life is going to be like for people living in that state. Let's take the state where I live, which is New Jersey.

Let's look at the numbers.

NEW JERSEY
555 159157

These numbers add up to 43 which equals 7.

People who live in a 7 state live in a state that where people tend to keep to themselves. The state is very impersonal and the hustle and bustle doesn't lead to people really getting to know each other. Most people in these states are loaners. They also analyze things to death and are very skeptical. This is very typical of the state I live. So, if you don't like that kind of atmosphere, then don't move to New Jersey.

What about the city? This is similar to the state but more centralized to the area you live in.

Let's say somebody lived in Union, NJ.

Let's look at the numbers

UNION
35965

These numbers add up to 28 = 10 = 1

This city is characterized by people who are individuals. There is strong leadership in the town of Union, which is true because I used to live there. Great town! This is a very determined town and doesn't take a backseat to anybody.

Okay, what about the street and house number? This is going to tell us the kind of house that you're living in and who would fit best in that house.

Let's take 123 Main Street

123 MAIN STREET
123 4195 129552

These numbers add up to 49 = 13 = 4

A 4 house is one that is best for people who are stable, looking for security, are stable, practical and hard working. So if you're none of these things, then this is the last place you want to live. Notice the street is one of the oldest in US history. And 123 is probably one of the most common numbers. This further reinforces the concept of stability and security.

So, when you're looking for a place to live, do some calculations first. If the street and house numbers come out to represent something that you're not comfortable with, more likely than not, you won't be comfortable in this home.

Picking the place where you live is important, especially if you plan on staying there for a long period of time.

Karmic Numbers & Karmic Debt

Today I want to discuss Karmic Numbers and Karmic Debt. There is a difference between the two and I'm going to explain that, hopefully simply enough, so that you have no trouble understanding what the differences are.

Karmic Numbers are numbers that don't appear at all in your birth name.

Let's take my birth name as an example and the numbers that correspond to each number.

STEVEN MARTIN WAGENHEIM
125455 419295 517558594

If you take a good look at my name, you will see that there are no letters with the values of 3 or 6. Okay, what does this mean?

This means that in this life, I need to learn the lessons of these numbers. They are kind of like challenges to me, or things that I don't have a lot of skill in.

What are they?

Well, the number 3 means that I will have to learn to be creative, to expressive myself, to be imaginative, and to develop my command of speech. Oddly, I have always been a creative person, but I did have to work at it. When I first started writing songs, I was awful. It took me years to develop my songwriting to the point where I was getting things published. So while I enjoyed being creative, it was a challenge. This karmic number explains why.

The number 6 means that I needed to work at being responsible, handling family, marriage, love, romance and learning to be of service to the community. Now these things were real challenges. My early love life was horrible. I couldn't keep a girlfriend for more than a couple of months. I had no sense of responsibility and the thought of being of service to anyone was the last thing on my mind. I was quite a self centered person growing up. But that all changed after I met my wife to be. She made a new person out of me. Today, I am the last person I think about and am responsible enough to take care of my whole family. How things change.

Karmic Debt is a little different. Karmic Debt is debt that you owe for things that you abused in past lives. Very few people have no Karmic Debt in their lives. Some people have many debts to pay.

So, how is Karmic Debt calculated? Simple. You need to look at the sum of the numbers of each of your main numbers before reducing them to a single digit. If any of these sums add up to 13, 14, 16 or 19, then you have some Karmic Debt that has to be paid off in this life or it will have to be repeated and paid off in your next life.

In my case, I have 2 Karmic Debt numbers. One is from my Maturity Number and the other is from my Personality Number.

My Maturity Number is my Life Path Number and my Destiny Number added together, which is:

8 + 11 = 19 = 10 = 1

My Karmic Debt for my Maturity Number is 19/1. This means this is a debt that I will have to pay off when I reach my later years. In this case, a 19/1 Karmic Debt is an abuse of power in an earlier life. Basically, in a past life I was selfish, stubborn, egotistical, lazy, intimidating, and I could go on and on. And these traits showed up in my early life. Fortunately, as I reached my 40s I began to come out of these bad traits until I have finally reached the point where I feel this debt has been paid in full. It took me a long time.

My Personality Number, which comes from the consonants of my name is:

1 + 2 + 4 + 5 = 12 = 3
4 + 9 + 2 + 5 = 20 = 2
5 + 7 + 5 + 8 + 4 = 29 = 11

3 + 2 + 11 = 16 = 7

This is a Karmic Debt of 16/7. This comes through in my personality, or the face I show people. This was my abuse of love. Isn't it interesting that I had no sixes in my name which meant that I needed to learn about love and at the same time, I had a Karmic Debt in this area as well. No wonder I had so much trouble finding love. But I eventually did. But more importantly, I learned how to give love to all people. This is another debt that I feel has either been paid off or on the way to being paid off.

Karma can be a real pain. But if you pay attention to your lessons and work on the areas that need to be improved, you can put all your bad karma behind you.

I know that I have.

Do Numbers Have Bad Days?

This may sound like a strange question. But the truth is, numbers do go through rough times just like people do. In my study of Numerology, I have noticed that numbers are actually greatly influenced by other numbers in there are an excess of those numbers in a given day. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll explain shortly. Trust me, if you look at the numbers around you, you'll notice these things as well.

Master Numbers in particular seem to have a great effect on other numbers if there are a lot of Master Numbers floating around.

For example. I was born on November 11. On that day, the Master Number 11 has a great impact, not only on my life, but on the "weaker" numbers around it that seem to be in conflict with the 11. Because the 11 reduces to the 2, which represents a well balanced, harmonious day, I find that people who have a lot of 5's in their makeup aren't as rebellious that day. It's almost like they're chilling out for that day. There is no logical explanation for it other than the 5 is being overshadowed by the 11/2.

What I have found, during the course of my studies, is that opposite numbers get trashed by the numbers that are in excess. What do I mean by opposite?

In addition to the 2 and 5 example, 4 and 5 and 6 and 5 seem to be at odds with each other. The 7 and the 3 seem to be at odds with each other. The 1 and the 4 also seem to be somewhat at odds with each other as well.

Here's another example so you understand what an imbalance of numbers can do, even to your core numbers.

I have a friend who is a total 7. He's a loaner who never had any intentions of dating, let alone get married. Well, on this one particular day, June 06, 1996, he met a girl who just spun his head around. Normally, he wouldn't have even noticed her. A year later, they were married and that one day changed his whole life because he let down his guard for one day.

I have always known the power of numbers, but stories like this just make me realize all the more than one day can make all the difference in the world.

So yes, numbers do have bad days...or good days.

It all depends on the way you look at it

Your Personal Year

Everybody has a personal year. Do you know what yours is right now? Do you know how to compute it? If not, don't worry. I'm going to show you exactly how to compute your personal year as well as explain to you just what it means.

Your personal year number is the number that defines the year you're having or tells you what's basically happening with you during the course of the current year. By knowing what your personal year number is, and what it has in store for you, you can prepare yourself for what's to come. Remember, with all forms of divination, there is free will. We look to see what's going to happen so that we can do what we can to either take advantage of it if it's good, or avoid certain things if they are bad.

To find your personal year, you take the month and day of your birth and add it to the current year.

So let's say you were born on the same month and day that I was born, November 11 and the current year, as of this post, is 2007.

You would add 11 + 11 + 2007 = 11 + 11 + 9 = 31 = 3 + 1 = 4

So my personal year for 2007 is 4.

Now, each personal year has a different meaning.

1 Personal Year - Year of new beginnings.
2 Personal Year - Year of cooperation, sensitivity and relationships. A slow year.
3 Personal Year - Year of creative ideas, expressing yourself. A very active year.
4 Personal Year - Year of putting down roots and hard work. This is a productive year.
5 Personal Year - Year of change. Unpredictable year. A year of taking risks.
6 Personal Year - Year of taking care of home and family. Tending to others needs.
7 Personal Year - Year of rest and rejuvenation. Good year to spend time alone.
8 Personal Year - Year of achievement, respect and recognition. Very busy year.
9 Personal Year - Year of completion. A quiet year. Time for rest, but can be busy at the start.

These are of course simplified definitions of each personal year, but should give you the general idea.

It is a good idea to check your personal year to come before it starts. That way you can be prepared for it when it comes.

Personal Month Number

Just as we have personal year numbers, we also have personal month numbers.

To compute your personal month number, you take the month number itself with January as 1, February as 2 and so on, and add it to your personal year number.

Now, what do you do with October, November and December which are months 10, 11 and 12?

You first have to reduce them to single digits like so...

October = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1
November = 11 = 1 + 1 = 2
December = 12 = 1 + 2 = 3

So let's say your personal year number is 4 and you're in the month of March.

Your personal month number for March of this year would be 4 + 3 = 7

Your personal month number doesn't have as much influence as your personal year number, which is the main theme of the year. However, your personal month number does play a role, especially if your personal month number for a particular month is the same as the personal year number. This reinforces the energies for that month. Usually, these are the months where you want to make your biggest impact in regard to the things you want to accomplish, whether it be family, business or what have you. Personal months of 1 are great for starting new projects and I always look to see where my 1 personal months are.

By taking stock of your personal months along with your personal year, you can pretty much plan out most of your year ahead of time, thus getting the most out of your year as possible.
