Welcome To The World Of The Occult

Hi:

Welcome to my world of the occult. I guess the first thing I should tell you a little bit about myself.

I first got involved in the occult in the early 1980s. Yes, I'm OLD. But I am also wise. I've learned quite a lot about the occult over the last 25 years. Some of it good, some of it not so good. I have seen the honest people who are truly gifted and the con men and women who are just after your money. Sadly, it is hard to tell one from the other.

Where do I fall? Honestly, neither. I don't consider myself especially gifted and I certainly am not after people's money. All the readings I have ever done in my life, whether it be Tarot Cards, Astrology Charts or Numerology Charts, I have done for free. As for my actual ability, well it's kind of scary actually.

Just prior to the events of 9/11, I was at my piano writing a song. I've been writing songs for over 25 years as well. Suddenly, I had a terrible panic attack. My wife was sitting in her chair in the living room with me. I walked over to her, in a cold sweat and said to her, "Donna, something terrible is going to happen." When I said "terrible" I meant TERRIBLE. Several days later was the attack of 9/11.

Psychic power? I don't know. But it wasn't the only time it happened. There were others, though never as frightening.

As for my readings, I've had many people call me back to tell me how accurate they were. Honestly, when I hear this, it amazes me as I don't consider myself to be psychic. I don't have visions. I don't go into trances. I do a reading and just feel things. I can't explain it any better than that. Sometimes, if I'm doing a Tarot reading, I'll completely ignore what the cards are "telling me" and instead go with my gut. Don't ask me why. I just do. Those readings turn out to be the most accurate.

Again, I have never done a reading for money and don't ever intend to. I personally don't believe that gifts like mine, if indeed it is a gift, should be exploited for financial gain.

Now, having said that, I have just come out with a new book on a brand new form of divination that I am sure is going to take the world by storm. It's called Diceology and I have no doubt that you will be totally fascinated by it. It can interact with Astrology, Tarot Cards, Mumerology and Cartouche. Please check it out at my web site at: http://www.diceology.com

In the meantime, I'm going to try to share as much of what I know about Astrology, Tarot, Numerology and even Cartouche. Yeah, I've dabbled in quite a few things in my life. Again, I don't consider myself especially talented, but I have learned a few things about interpreting readings. It is my hope that I'll be able to help the aspiring psychic to become the best that he or she can be.

Because the amount of information at this lens is going to be so huge, I have broken it up into several lenses. This way it will be easier for you to find things.

That's it for now. You'll be hearing a lot more from me over the coming months.

Sincerely,

Steven Wagenheim

Steven Wagenheim

The Occult Corner

Are You Stuck In A Divination Rut?

Hi:

Let's be honest, we all tend to get bored from time to time. I'm as guilty as the next person. Fortunately, I am involved in so many forms of divination that when I do get a little bored with one, I have another to turn to.

It certainly keeps things interesting.

But what about those of us who are strictly into Tarot Cards or Astrology or whatever it may be? What do they do when they get a little bored?

Well, I have some friends who literally put the cards away, or whatever it is they do. They may not touch them for days, weeks, or even months. Some I've known never to go back to them...which is a shame.

See, I truly believe that psychics have a gift that should be shared with the world. Sure, we all get a little tired of doing anything if we do it too much, but to give it up entirely, I feel is a waste of a gift.

Back in the 80s when I was first getting into the world of divination, I was hungry for knowledge. I wanted to learn as much as I could. When Shirley taught me how to read and eventually do an astrological chart, it was like a whole new world opened up to me.

Every once in a while, if I'm doing a great number of Tarot readings, I get a little restless. That's when I go back to the Astrology, or Numerology, which I have really grown to love. Even Cartouche, which is one of my newer loves, relatively speaking, gives me something fresh to concentrate on when I get a little restless.

Since then, I have taken up Runes, Palmistry and I Ching. All of these have their time and place for me. Eventually, I will always return to my Tarot Cards.

And then of course there is my real first love, Diceology. It took me half my life to develop this form of divination. I spent countless hours perfecting it. It wasn't easy to do.

Today, I am finally sharing it with the rest of the world. I have no doubt that if you give it a chance, you will find it the most fascinating science of them all. It may even give you something to fall back on when you're a little bored with your ritual of choice.

You can see my site and what Diceology is about at the URL below:

http://www.diceology.com/

And if you like, you can even get a free report that will tell you about the early beginnings of Diceology and how it came to be.

You can get that report right here.

http://www.diceology.com/report.html

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to start a new lens and show everybody a few Diceology readings.

I promise that you will be quite fascinated by it all.

To YOUR Divination Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Astrology - What's Your Sign?

The Best Way To Get Bounced From A Bar

Forget the age of Aquarius. I grew up during the age of bar hopping, going up to pretty girls sitting at that bar stool and coming out with that corny line, "What's your sign?" You can't even begin to imagine some of the looks I got. Most of them just chuckled and told me to get lost. Can't say I blame them. I was a real dork back then. Ironically, if I knew as much about Astrology then as I know now, I could have used that line to real advantage.

For example, instead of going up to a girl and saying "What's your sign?" I would have gone up to her and said something like, "Tell me your birthday and I'll tell you all about you." Now obviously, without doing her chart, which would have taken an enormous amount of time, this really wouldn't have been possible. But, knowing all the basic characteristics of each sign, praying that their rising signs didn't play too much havoc on their personalities, I probably could have told them enough generalities about themselves to be able to impress them at least somewhat. I mean let's face it, the average bar hopper knows very little about astrology.

Ironically, by the time I actually learned about astrology, I was already married and had no desire to ask a girl at a bar what her sign was. But I am going to ask YOU. What's YOUR sign? Do you know your characteristics? Do you know your rising sign? Do you know what makes you tick? What is it that even brought you here?

Below, you will find a poll to tell me what your sign is. I'm curious to see how many of each sign I get to this site who actually take the time to let me know who they are. My gut tells me, based on what I know about the various signs, that I am going to get a few signs that will dominate the poll and a few signs that will be totally absent. Why?

Well, if you're deep into astrology, you know that there are personality types that love to show off their stuff. They need to show the world, "Hey world, here I am, and need to be a part of everything." These are the people who are going to let me know who they are. Then there are those personality types that are very private and keep to themselves. They're not going to share their feelings, or at best, will do so reluctantly. There are going to be, of course, a number of people who will look at the poll results just to see who is signing in, and yet will not share with the others.

I have always been fascinated by human behavior, and what I learned from astrology has only reinforced what I learned from my psychology and sociology classes in college. If you ever have a chance, observe people. I'll bet that as you get better at the art of astrology, you'll be able to tell most people's signs, or at least narrow down the possibilities, just from observing them. I got very good at this over the past 5 years or so. It actually scares me when I talk to a Leo for about 10 minutes and listen to him tell me how great he is, and obviously basking in the spotlight, and then I calmly ask him, "Are you a Leo?" and he smiles at me and doesn't answer. Leos are very proud and won't ever admit to being found out like that, and in most cases, will not answer me, try to change the subject and throw me off guard, but they know. They know I'm on to them.

Any Leos reading this, I love you guys and gals. You are the life of the party and this world would not be as fun a place without you. My father in law is a Leo and he's one of my favorite people on the planet, so please don't get the idea that I don't like Leos, but they are definitely characters.

Anyway, if you want to let me know who you are, I'd love to know.

And if you're a Leo, don't worry, I won't tell anybody that you filled out my poll.

It'll just be our little secret.

Well, until somebody actually checks the results. LOL.

What's Your Favorite Form Of Divination?

Not everybody is crazy like I am and gets involved in just about every form of divination that exists. I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the things that I am into. However, as this lens and the group of lenses that accompany it grow daily, you're going to see many sides of me.

But what about YOU?

What's YOUR favorite?

Even I have my preferences, though I do enjoy them all. Personally, I get something different from each form, whether it's Astrology, Tarot Cards, Numerology, Cartouche, I Ching, Palmistry, Runecasting, or what have you. The list, as you probably know, is a mile long. I have created 5 lenses to cover what I felt were the 4 most popular forms (Astrology, Tarot Cards, Numerology, Cartouche) and this lens, which will be a overall discussion on the remaining forms and the occult in general.

What I love so much about the many forms is that I get a little different perspective on a reading from each one. Sometimes, when I do a Tarot Card reading, and things seem a bit fuzzy, I'll take out the Cartouche and get a much more clearer picture. One thing you need to understand as a psychic is that you are not going to be at your best all the time. You are going to have days where nothing comes to you. Those cards, or that chart, or whatever it is that you're looking at, is going to draw a total blank. When this happens, don't fight it, and most of all, DON'T fake it.

I have had many readings where I either saw nothing, or had so much jumble in front of me that I just gave up on it. You will know when those days come, trust me. When they do, just go with it. There's always tomorrow.

This is why I tend to "fall in love" with certain forms at certain times. There were periods in my life when I did nothing but Tarot Card readings because they were the only thing that brought accurate results. Then there were times when I would do nothing but daily Numerology charts. The key is knowing when you are in tune with the art.

But none of this rambling answers the question, "What's your favorite form of divination?"

Mine? I guess if you put me up against a wall and made me pick just ONE, I would have to say Astrology.

Why?

Because it is so complex and gets into so many areas of our lives that a simple Tarot Card reading just can't do.

So what IS your favorite form of divination?

You'll be able to vote for YOUR favorite in the poll below.

Runes - An Introduction

If you've been coming around for a while now, you've pretty much noticed that I focus mostly on Astrology, Tarot Cards, Numerology and Cartouche. However, I do possess knowledge of many other forms of divination. One of them is Runes. Actually, I happen to find Runes to be quite fascinating. I just don't run into a lot of people who want their Runes read. Maybe it's lack of understanding or maybe they just don't even know that Runes actually exist. You know, it's funny, but psychics assume a lot of things about other people. Believe it or not, not everybody knows everything that we do. But that's just another problem of people living in their own little world. Kind of like people who spend all day on the computer not understanding how somebody can NOT know how to check their email. Guess what? My mom was a concert pianist and an opera singer when she was younger and she doesn't even know what a computer looks like.

So, what are Runes anyway? Well, to put it simply, they're smoothed stones with angular symbols carved into them. Each symbol has a meaning depending on how the stone lands when doing a reading. Oh yes, Runes can be quite complicated if you really get into them. But I'm jumping ahead of myself.

So. where exactly did Runes come from? Well, archeologists, who initially discovered Runes, estimate that the earliest Runes found date back to between 600 and 300 B.C. The first Runes found are believed to have belonged to the Greeks who colonized Italy during that time. It is believed, and I have no reason to doubt this since archeologists are seldom wrong, that these Runes were early alphabets used by these civilizations. And I have to admit that if you take a look at drawings of early Runes they do look very similar to our alphabet that we use today, especially the Etruscan alphabet, though there are some major differences and you'd have a hard time reading many of the words formed by this alphabet.

So, how did Runes get to be something that people used for divination? Well, there's a whole long explanation for this but I'll keep this as short as possible. It is believed that when Runes were first found, that because they were regarded as symbols and not alphabetic characters, that these symbols were esoteric, meaning that the knowledge of them belonged only to the elite. This made people believe that there was therefore a higher meaning for these symbols. Over time, psychics turned to Runes for divination with surprisingly accurate results.

Of course, when you think about it, the symbols of the Runes are really no different from symbols in any other form of divination. It's not the symbols themselves that make them special. It's the meaning and the unexplainable sense of "magic", for lack of a better word, that makes them special as well as the sense of "one" that a psychic feels with those symbols. That's why two different people can pick up the same Runes and get two totally different vibes.

In future installments, we'll get into Rune teachings, theory and even some Runes readings.

See you then.

Palmistry - An Introduction

Of all the forms of divination that I've gotten into, I have to admit that Palmistry has been one of the most interesting and also one of the most complex. I had no idea that there was so much involved with doing a palm reading. As a matter of fact, after doing my studies, I never looked at my hands the same way again.

Palmistry goes back over 1000 years. It is the study of lines, textures, shapes and peculiarities of the hand. Contrary to what most people believe, palmistry is not limited to just looking at the palm. Palmistry takes into consideration the whole hand including the fingers, knuckles, wrists joints and the overall shape of the hand itself. Hand shapes are actually broken up into categories such as the artistic hand, the psychic hand, the action-oriented hand, the practical hand, and the mixed hand, which is a combination of all of these.

By looking at a person's hand, one can get an overall perspective of a person's profile which includes his life choices, challenges and opportunities. A professional palm reader, just from looking at your hand, can tell if you're going to be successful, find love, have good health and so on. While I have improved much over the years, I in no way consider myself a professional palm reader, though I do have a good basic foundation and can tell quite a bit about my subject.

Palm reading probably took me longer to get good at than any of the other occult sciences. Therefore, I have developed a great respect for palmists. In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing some of what I know about palm reading as well as share with you some of the readings I've done, complete with diagrams. These are artistic re-creations of real people's hands. I'm sure you will find this quite interesting.

Look for the first lesson very soon.

Occult Corner

Are You Hooked?

Something terrible just happened to me. I was going through a lot of my occult oriented material and I noticed that my book on I Ching was missing. I looked all over for it but to no avail. I then talked to my wife and asked her if she had seen it. Well, it turns out that we had a flood in the basement and lost a number of items. One of them was my book on I Ching.

I was devastated. I immediately headed over to Amazon.com and ordered a new book. It's going to take a week to get here and I don't know what I am going to do in the meantime. I was really looking forward to doing some more studying on the subject and maybe tackle a couple of readings.

Does this sound familiar? When you misplace your favorite Tarot deck or lose all your notes on creating Astrological charts, do you go into panic mode?

In other words, are you hooked?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong with being hooked on all things occult. There isn't a day that goes by, as you can tell from the frequency that my lenses are updated, when I'm not in some way involved with the occult sciences. I love doing readings, I love sharing knowledge with people and I also love to continue my studies. Trust me, you can never know it all. There is always something new to learn.

The biggest problem that I have is that because I am into so many things, including Astrology, Tarot Cards, Numerology, Cartouche, Runes, I Ching and Palmistry, it's really hard to do any amount of work on any one area. I don't like to neglect any aspect for long, so I try to make a schedule for myself where each day of the week I concentrate on something else. It just so happens that I am into 7 different forms of divination. Works out just right.

Yes, I am hooked. There is no question about it.

But what about you? Are YOU hooked?

I'm going to give you a chance to tell me and everybody else in the poll below.

And if you ARE hooked, don't be afraid to admit it.

Trust me, there are worse things in life to be hooked on.

I Ching - An Introduction

For those of you who are into the I Ching, you are well aware that all the English books on the subject have been translated from Chinese documents. Because the translations are not always the best, this can make learning the I Ching one of the most difficult things that anybody can ever attempt to do. Fortunately for myself, when I was studying this occult science, I had a LOT of time on my hands, not like today where I have more to do than anyone can possibly imagine. However, if you are looking for me to give you a simple Cliff Notes summary of what the I Ching is, you are in for a great disappointment.

The book I used for my translation and education was written by Thomas Cleary, who I feel really nailed this subject down. It was the easiest of all the translations I have since read, many of which were pure gibberish to me. I sometimes wonder if I would have had better luck reading the Chinese.

There are many who don't really believe that the I Ching is an occult science, and in many ways, they're probably right. It is really based, at least in my sphere of education, on the Taoist mystical arts and sciences of the Chinese culture. I have friends who have been living in the far east for years and still to this day barely understand these teachings. It is a wonder Chinese children ever get through school. Of course it might explain why they do so well in the schools of the western world.

So what exactly is the I Ching?

Like I said, there is no Cliff Notes version that is going to do the explaining of the I Ching any justice, not when you are talking about something that is over 2000 years old. However, the gist of the I Ching goes something like this...

The I Ching is a system of symbols that have been designed to identify order in our universe, relating to things that appear to be chance occurrences. It is a very ancient system of philosophy that is at the very heart of Chinese cultural beliefs. This philosophy, in particular, deals with many ideas, including the balancing of opposites, the evolution of events, the acceptance, and more importantly, the inevitability of change, and if all that isn't enough, the deeper meaning of life in general which includes the forces of things that surround us, such as the air we breathe and the water we drink.

Any of that make any sense to you?

Didn't think so. The truth is, the philosophy behind the I Ching is so deep and so complex that you could spend a lifetime studying it. Am I an expert in the I Ching? Not even close. But I will share what I know about the I Ching with you if you're interested. I grew up with two kids in school who both came from China. They taught me a lot, at least as much as my pea brain could comprehend. This is after all some pretty heavy stuff. I am still learning. I'll probably be learning until the day I shed this cacky coil.

In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing philosophies and readings. We'll start slow and work our way up to more advanced material.

Should be a lot of fun.

Runes Reading

Will My Investments Pay Off?

One of my early Runes readings involved a gentleman who I had met who not only was into the occult, but was also heavily into the stock market and investing. I thought this was a perfect opportunity to use the Cross of Thor Spread, which is perfect for consulting money matters.

I cast the Runes and came up with the following spread by position.

1. Uruz (Partial Positive)
2. Laguz
3. Pertho (Negative)
4. Dagaz (Partial Negative)
5. Ansuz (Partial Postive)

I'll let you chew on this one for a while before I come back in a few days with the answer. Then we'll start on some Runes instruction for those who are new to this.

In the meantime you can cast your vote in the poll below.

Will the subject's investments pay off?

Palm Reading

My Own Palm

Ever read your own palm? It's fascinating! Anyway, this first palm reading is my own.

Below you will see a graphical reproduction of my own palm. I haven't included all the lines, just the significant ones.

You can see it here.

http://www.stevewagenheim.com/palmistry/palm_001.jpg

This is going to be a basic palm reading for those of you who are new to the science. In our next post on palmistry, we'll start getting into some of the how to's of palmistry.

Okay, let's get to the reading.

First of all, if you look at the shape of my hand, it is an artistic hand. And yes, I am, in a way, an artist. I write songs, books, play the guitar, keyboards, drums and other oddball instruments. I'm not a great artist, but I am still an artist and proud of it.

The palm is broken up into three zones. The emotional zone is the one closest to the fingers; the practical zone is the one in the middle of the hand and the physical zone is the one closest to the wrist.

Let's start with my emotional zone.

As you can see, I have 4 lines in my emotional zone. Only one of them is a major line and that is my Heart Line.

This line gives us an idea of a person's emotional life. The longer the heart line, the more open a person is with others. My heart line is very long and yes, I am very open with others, sometimes to a fault. This line also shows my generosity towards others as well as my sense of security.

Now, I have 2 parallel lines and 1 perpendicular line to my heart line. This means that the heart line is more strengthened than weakened, though it does show that I do have some slight emotional problems, though nothing serious. In my case, I love to easily and tend to get hurt.

Moving to the practical zone, this is where I have my head line. I have a very long head line which shows intelligence and a good memory. However, I do have one perpendicular line to it that is very long. This shows that I do tend to get distracted easily and find it hard to focus on one thing at a time. This is evidenced by how many forms of divination I am into.

Moving down to my physical zone, the main line there is my life line. While it isn't terribly long, it isn't short. Hey, I'm a guy and guys don't live as long as women so this is to be expected. Still, I'm content with my life line. With good nutrition and taking care of myself, I should be fine.

I want to point out my Mars line, which is the one intersects my head line at the far right near my thumb. This line is very short which shows that I don't have much courage. Guilty. I'm not a fighter. I prefer to talk things out rather than pick a fight.

Now, let's go back to the 2 lines parallel to my heart line. These lines are markings on the mount of Saturn. These lines show that I can overcome bad luck. The more lines here, the worse your luck is. I'd prefer 1 line here, but oh well.

This is just a very basic reading.

With our next post, we'll get into some of the theory of Palmistry so that we can get a little more in depth with our next reading.

See you soon.

I Ching Reading

Am I Choosing The Right Career Path?

For my first I Ching reading, which I did for a friend of mine who wanted to know if he was choosing the correct career path, I thought it would be a good idea to walk through the process of the reading step by step so that you could see how the I Ching reading is done, for those of you who have never performed one of these before.

First, let me reveal that I use the 3 coins method for doing a reading. It's tough finding yarrow sticks around my neck of the woods.

Just to briefly cover the procedure, the 3 coins are tossed a total of 6 times to create 2 groups of 3 lines each. Each group of 3 lines forms a trigram. The 2 trigrams form the hexagram by which the reader does his analysis of the reading. Of course this is greatly simplified, but I'm sure you get the general idea.

There are basically 4 possible combinations of tossing the 3 coins.

3 heads, 3 tails, 2 heads and 1 tail, or 1 head and 2 tails.

3 heads form a solid line like thus ---o---
3 tails form a broken line like thus ---x---
2 heads and 1 tail form a solid line like thus ------
1 head and 2 tails form a broken line like thus --- ---

There are a total of 64 possible hexagrams made out of the combinations of these lines.

Okay, let's get to the reading.

I tossed the 3 coins for the first line of the first trigram

2 tails and 1 head giving me --- ---

I then tossed the 3 coins for the second line of the first trigram

2 tails and 1 head giving me --- ---

I then tossed the 3 coins for the third line of the first trigram

2 heads and 1 tail giving me ------

This gives us the following for the first trigram

-------
--- ---
--- ---

I then tossed the 3 coins for the first line of the second trigram

2 tails and 1 head giving me --- ---

I then tossed the 3 coins for the second line of the second trigram

2 tails and 1 head giving me --- ---

I then tossed the 3 coins for the third line of the second trigram

2 tails and 1 head giving me --- ---

This gives us the following for the second trigram

--- ---
--- ---
--- ---

The first trigram is our lower trigram and the second trigram is our upper trigram.

Our lower trigram is called kên and our upper trigram is called k'un.

When you combine them together you get hexagram number 15, which is Humility, which looks like this...

--- ---
--- ---
--- ---
-------
--- ---
--- ---

I'll let you examine this hexagram for a few days, get out your favorite I Ching book and see what you come up with to the answer to my friend's question.

Is he choosing the correct career path?

Answer To Runes Reading

Will My Investments Pay Off?

Okay, it's time for the analysis of the Runes reading I did for the gentleman who wanted to know if his investments were going to pay off.

Here were the Runes as they fell in the Cross of Thor spread.

1. Uruz (Partial Positive)
2. Laguz
3. Pertho (Negative)
4. Dagaz (Partial Negative)
5. Ansuz (Partial Postive)

Okay, let's take them one at a time and see what we come up with.

1. Uruz (Partial Positive) - This rune represents the situation. As a partial positive, in its position and orientation, this rune shows that there is definitely the beginning of something in the works but with some slight obstacles. They don't appear to be too serious but success may be limited.

2. Laguz - This rune represents the actual obstacles involved. This rune shows that the subject may be going into this venture more with emotion than with logic, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but the obstacles involved here because of that are not seeing things clearly because the subject doesn't have all the facts. This may result in some wrong decisions.

3. Pertho (Negative) - This rune represents the supportive forces. In this case, the supportive forces are negative. Pertho shows that there may be some things that the subject has done in the past that are going to come back to haunt him in regard to these investments.

4. Dagaz (Partial Negative) - This rune represents the short term outcome. Dagaz has no negative aspects, even in this orientation. This rune clearly shows slow and steady progress, meaning that while the investments won't make a lot of money, they will pay off slightly in the short term.

5. Ansuz (Partial Postive) - This rune represents the long term outcome. Ansuz shows that the investments will remain relatively stable but care is needed to watch over things.

Overall, I told the subject that his investments would pay off but they wouldn't pay off as much as he would have liked.

The ultimate outcome was exactly as I said. His investments did pay off but with moderate success.

So if that's what you guessed, you were dead on.

Congratulations!

Answer To I Ching Reading

Am I Choosing The Right Career Path?

A few days ago, I walked through an I Ching reading I did for a friend of mine. The hexagram that came up was...

--- ---
--- ---
--- ---
-------
--- ---
--- ---

Which is number 15, Humility. In this hexagram, Earth is above and mountain is below. Earth is submissive and flexible and Mountain is still and firm.

Humility is one of the greatest characteristics that we can all practice. When one has humility, one is able to learn from his mistakes because he understands how much he has to learn. This hexagram shows that the subject knows how to assess a situation and from that assessment, decide on the best course of action to take.

The important thing here is that the subject knows that he is superior in many respects but does not take that superiority for granted. He still understands that he has to thoroughly examine all avenues and not assume that just because his "gut" says it's the right thing to do, that it is. He needs facts that are formed through careful analysis.

After careful study of this hexagram, and using my own humility, I concluded that my friend was indeed on the right career path.

As it turns out, he became very successful in his choice of career and is still very successful to this day.

So if you guessed that the subject was choosing the right career path, you were correct.

5. Tiwaz (Partial Positive)

There you have it. I'll let you think about this for a while. You can cast your vote in the poll below. The answer will be posted in a few days.

Answer To Runes Reading

Will My New Business Succeed?

A few days ago, I posted a reading that I had done for a friend of mine who had just started his own business and he wanted to know if it was going to succeed.

Performing a Cross of Thor Spread for the Runes, I came up with the following:

1. Othila
2. Kaunaz (Partial Positive)
3. Eihwaz
4. Pertho
5. Tiwaz (Partial Positive)

Here's the analysis of the reading.

1. Othila - This Rune represents the situation. Othila relates to home and possessions. This shows that the subject is going into business primarily for the purpose of providing for his family and not for any self serving or selfish reasons. This is a good sign.

2. Kaunaz (Partial Positive) - This Rune represents the obstacles. Kaunaz shows that there may be some dangers along the way, especially things not seen or the unknown. That is common with many new business ventures. This shows that the subject is moving into an area that he isn't too familiar with. This could make success a little more difficult to come by. However, because of the partial positive, the uncertainty may not be as great.

3. Eihwaz - This Rune represents supportive forces. Eihwaz shows that there will be much communication involved with this business venture. This communication will greatly help the subject with running his business and may be a key factor in its success.

4. Pertho - This Rune represents the short term outcome. Pertho shows that there are going to be gains and rewards from this business venture that the subject did not anticipate. Many pleasant surprises are on the horizon.

5. Tiwaz (Partial Positive) - This Rune represents the long term outcome. Tiwaz is the Rune of victory and completion. I couldn't have hoped for a better Rune to appear in the 5th position. This Rune shows that the business will be extremely profitable.

Well, sure enough, my friend's business took off like a rocket and became a huge success.

So, if you guessed that, you were dead on the money.

When The Vibes Just Don't Come

I'm a writer. And every once in a while, I get writer's block where I just can't think of anything to say. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Well, as a person with some psychic ability, I also get periods of time where I can't see a thing. I do a reading and nothing comes to me. It could be Runes, Tarot Cards, I-Ching, whatever. Doesn't matter. I don't see a thing. So what do you do when the vibes just don't come? Well, I've come up with a few things that really help me a lot and maybe they'll help you too.

When doing Tarot readings, if I find that I am not in tune with the cards, what I will do is take the Major Arcana out of the deck and meditate on them. I'll spend about a minute on each card. It takes me about a half hour to meditate on all the Major Arcana. After I've done that, many times, I find that I am more in tune with the cards again. The same thing is true if I am out of touch with the Cartouche.

But what about things where you don't really have something physical to touch? You know, like doing an Astrology reading or a Numerology reading. What do you do when those vibes just don't come. It's not like you can meditate on some cards. Well, for these disciplines I have found the following activities help a great deal.

One thing I'll do is go to a quiet place somewhere in the house, sit down, put my head back and just relax. I'll close my eyes and try to clear my head of every thought. I'll slow my breathing down and block the whole world out. What I usually find happening is that I will start to drift off and when I wake up, usually about a half hour to an hour later, I am refreshed and the vibes have come back.

Another thing I'll do, when the above doesn't work, is put on some new age music like Yanni. Something about that stuff really strikes a chord with me. After listening to one or two CDs, I find that my mind is more receptive to psychic vibrations. This doesn't work with hard rock or hip hop. It's got to be really mystical kind of music for me to get the vibes back.

Usually, if I do one of the above, I'm ready to get right back into the swing and can do a reading with a fair amount of accuracy.

Try it sometime. You might be surprised at the results.
