The 4400 is a science fiction program on the USA Network, Space: The Imagination Station and Sky One.

It began as a miniseries of five episodes, which aired weekly from July 11  to August 8, 2004; a second season of twelve episodes began airing on  June 5, 2005 and concluded on August 28, 2005. The third season premiered on June 11, 2006.

In the pilot episode, what is originally thought to be a comet deposits a group of exactly four thousand, four hundred people in the Seattle, Washington region. All of the 4,400 had disappeared at various points starting from 1941 in a beam of white light. After their return, none have aged, all are disoriented, and they remember nothing between the time of their disappearance and their return.

 And so it began...

The 4400 Trivia

The theme song of the show is "A Place in Time" written by Robert Phillips & Tim Paruskewitz, performed by Amanda Abizaid.

In Australia, Spain and New Zealand the first season was shown as a miniseries of two episodes. The second season was aired weekly but taken off air halfway through the season in Australia, while continuing to air in New Zealand. In February 2006, the rest of the second season was aired in Australia, starting from where it had left off. The third season began airing in Australia in October 2006.

Early marketing for the series included stencilled graffiti in public places across San Francisco, Houston, and Boston raising ire among residents.

Character: Shawn Farrell

Real Name: Patrick Flueger

Birthplace: Redwing, Minnesota, USA

Birthdate: 12/10/1983

Additional Information: Patrick Flueger received his big break when he auditioned for the 2001 family hit, The Princess Diaries (2001). He and four others competed for the leading male role, but that part went to Robert Schwartzman. Patrick made his mark with director, Garry Marshall, though, and Marshall wrote him a part as Jeremiah, a fun-loving card-trick master who charmed the lead character's best friend.

Flueger is a graduate of Red Wing High School and has two younger siblings.

He is making his mark, slowly but surely, in the acting world with small parts in television shows, such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and most recently, as a star in the series The 4400.
