What is The 9-12 Project?

This is our page to help promote The 9-12 Project started by Glenn Beck. I believe in this cause and want to help spread the word about it. I also have here all the books recommended by Glenn Beck as part of The 9-12 Project and on his show.

Many people currently feel powerless in this social and political climate in America. The 9-12 Project is about reminding the people of this country that we do have power.

We outnumber the politicians, or as Glenn Beck put it when introducing The 9-12 Project, "We surround them." We can make a difference.

The 9 Principles from The 9-12 Project

1. America Is Good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

I whole-heartedly agree with all of them. I particularly like how he included a quote from the Founding Fathers for each of the 9 principles.

    In response to the two most recent comments, the way that most people can find their local groups and get involved is www.meetup.com. Find your city and find the active group there. You can also click on any of the links above to the main 9-12 Project page. From there, click on "Get Involved" near the top of the page.

    I love Glenn Beck's show and all he is saying. How do I join the 9-12 project and what do you have to do? I am in Kansas, there is not a lot going on here yet. The people in Ks. are really just good and hope all turns out for the best. But out state is in trouble!!

    I'd like to see other merchandise that doesn't say 9/12 or have anything to do with anti Obama....check out http://www.freedomstyles.com. I am a decendant of Thomas McKean, signer of the Decleration of Independence and was inspired to create this shirt and website. It comes from my heart...just having a hard time getting the word out~

    I like the 12 virtues more than the 912 list: I'm curious about the first two: one, America is only as good as America acts; second, the founding fathers were deists, not Christians, and they merely believed that morality was necessary for a good society. As long as a person is religious and moral, then I am with you on the second rule. The importance in society is the upside-down pyramid: individual, family, community, county, state, country, in that order.

    I'm creating some similar pages on America, so we aim for a common idea.
