News, Views and More when it comes to MMOs
What is theMMOjo.com?
MMOjo's main aim is to create an informative and collaborative environment for MMO gamers to come together. Our whole concept is to inform and discuss the virtual online gaming world; explore the new concepts and ideas constantly being developed by the publishing houses and most of all make it the premier site for gamers to go to for their questions and needs.

We could all use a bit of MMOjo sometimes!
This blog is our own personal space in which we talk about the trials and tribulations of setting up our own website - www.theMMOjo.com. My partner and I hope to produce something that is a culmination of many years of talk and research and this blog will follow us as we laugh, cry and scream no doubt. Of course the website will be focused on MMOs what else!

Letting you know what's going on right now
- The construction page is finally up, boring but important!
- Behind the scenes the initial development of the news module is almost complete and ready for roll out. We talk more about this in the blog.
- Further updates to the news system and how people will be able to interact with it over the next couple of weeks are currently under discussion and development.
- Stage 2 (see below) is currently being drafted.
Stages of Development
Here's what we have planned over the next couple of months
Stage One
The development of an all encompassing news network for active MMO titles. This will include official news feeds and news obtained from fan sites and other sources. We want to provide our users with all the information that they could want about their gaming interests and the ability to feedback to the community about what they think or want to see happening.
Stage Two
We will developing a gaming database from which a large number of services and applications will spring. The concept is to provide a large amount of information about the MMORPGs that are live, in testing and due for release in an easy to read and navigate format. All the information that we store will be legible, easy to follow and link in to a variety of resources to make the community's surfing time efficient, fun and relevant.
Stage Three
Here we hope to start provide more specific support and services for users of individual games. As all games vary in content, size and style we have yet to have formally planned this stage out. What we are able to tell you is that you can expect to see some very neat features implemented for the more popular games at the outset.
