Kirk Franklin's: Why We Sing
Kirk Franklin's "Why We Sing" is inspirational as well as an awesome and beautiful gospel song. This is as best I can describe how I feel about this song!! I LOVE this song so much that chills run through my body when I hear it! In 1993, "Why We Sing" won "Traditional Gospel of the Year." This song is the first track on the debut album, "Kirk Franklin and The Family and was also written by Kirk Franklin. It's not surprising that this album was the first gospel music album to sell over a million music units. I love especially these lyrics, "I sing because I'm happy, I sing because I'm free....Glory, Halleluah, Your the reason while I sing"
