I had a special interest in the Beijing Olympics in 2008 because my niece swam for Australia in the 4x100m and 4x200m Freestyle Relays. I write articles on her progress.

Melanie in Beijing - Results

Updated 08-08-12. The Australian girls won Bronze in the 4x100 freestyle. Melanie's time in her split was 53.85 sec, her best time yet! She only swam in one heat of the 4x200 freestyle. In the final the Australian girls won Gold. (photo by Patrick B Kraemer, 2008)
