Who is The Party Animal?

I am a stay at home mom of 2 kids, a wife and also a mom of 9 furry babies (3 Dogs and 6 Cats). I started my business years ago after having had many parties for my own kids and realizing it was a passion of mine. I am a very creative person who loves to create unique things and loves all things different.
I also consign in stores locally with my country crafts and other unique items I create for kids.
I just have the knack to take an idea and bring it to life and that is what I love to do.
I love a good bargain and share how easy it is to have a party that looks like a million bucks, but costs hardly anything.
I love second hand shopping, Ebaying (been doing that for years), auctions, Animals and having fun. Boy that sounds like my ad for a date huh? But no need for dates - been with my hubby for 20 years and I am so happy.
If you choose to have me plan your party you will realize you hit the jackpot - I love to chat and will work with you to create a one of a kind party for your child they will remember forever. Oh and did I mention that I will give you all the ideas and tips to save you lots of money.

I had stumbled upon Squidoo in August of 2007 - I started using it just to promote my Party Business and then got addicted. I have so much fun with it and I have made money - now 2 great things.
I started not only writing about parties, but also cool things I liked and also my love of pets and more.
If you have not started with Squidoo - you better get going, but BEWARE once you start you cannot stop.
I am even a Giant Squid now - that fast!!

If I find something I like - I write about it.

Ok here is the deal with that. That is my Webkinz Chihuahua "Chiffon Trumpkinz" and she is wearing a big pretty bow I dressed her in (part of an outfit I sell through my business). She was my very first Webkinz I bought for myself so I could go onto Webkinz World and do research on creating a Webkinz Theme Birthday Party. When I started Squidoo it was around that time and I used that photo and it has stuck with me. So there you have it - My Icon.

My Number one Niche: Birthday Party Planning - This is what I do. So of course I have lots of lenses on Planning Birthday Parties. In addition to my business website: The Party Animal and my other baby: My Birthday Party Blog you will find lots of great ideas I have written right here on Squidoo.

My Number Two Niche: Animals. Being an owner of 9 Pets they give me a lot to write about. So I have and it is a nice variety and hopefully helpful to all animal lovers just like me.

I love toys and with two kids who love the online world I have written about a lot of them. I really like the toys that come to life online and find some of them are even very educational for the little ones and help them get familiar with the computer. It is where the future is at.

I am a big kid and again I love toys. I think I get more excited for Christmas than my kids. So I love to write about some of the Hottest Toys on the market.

Well my babies are all grown up and I really do miss the baby stage and remember it well. So I have written about things here that may help parents just starting off in that stage of life.

Now who does not love to play games? If you say you - it is a lie. Games are fun for all ages.

Now I am not one for Politics, but I do like some humor and all my political pages will give you just that. Sometimes we need to step back from the horror going on and laugh a bit.

I do have to eat and so do you right? So I have shared some of my favorite Family Recipes and my love for Coffee. If it was not for my Coffee I would not have written so many great lenses. I am sipping some now - mmmmm

I know how to do things - and some of them I have shared with you. I hope they may help if it is an area you may need help in. I love reading How To lenses and have learned so much - hopefully you can learn from mine as well.

The holidays are my favorite and I have shared so many great traditions on Squidoo that are so important to me and of course some lenses just for fun. Holidays are fun!!!

I am all about Unique and have some things that I think are just that and shared them. Check some out and see for yourself.

Sometimes I just need to get silly and somethings in life are just plain ol' Strange. So what do I do with that? Make a Squidoo Lens Silly.

I am a big bird watcher and one of my favorite sounds is hearing the birds sing. I sit on my patio surrounded with feeders and love to watch the birds come. To me it is very relaxing. So I share some of my love of the birds with you.

So really my husband does most of the work in the yard and we have a huge one. I do get out there and weed and care to the flowers at times. My husband made me sign a pact when we bought our house that I would weed - so I have no choice.

I do get away from my computer every now and then - not often, but it does happen. Here are some places I have gone or may want to be right now.

Sometimes even though our economy is bad you need to dip into your wallet or change jar and make a donation to a good cause. These causes will not go away and can always use your help.

Ok you caught me - I watch cartoons. As I type this right now Tom and Jerry is on behind me - lol. So I have shared some of my favorites with you below. Maybe I should write about Tom and Jerry - hmmmmm Coming Soon - Stayed Tuned.

Some days I feel a little Green - I guess it is better than Blue - although I have some of those too. So on the days where I felt Green I have written some lenses which you can see here.

In addition to being a Party Planner - I am also talented in the Art area and love art. Now I have to work on sharing some of my own work, but I have written about some Artsy Stuff. I will add to my list to get my own Art on Squidoo - so look for it soon.

Now even though I may sleep through the movies I usually catch enough to write about some of my favorites. So here you will see some of my reviews and some of the fun products that go along with them.

Oh the crazy weather and some of the things I love - Rain and Rainbows. Two great things nature brings to our lives.

Summer is always so much fun - with the kids home and all the fun outdoor toys to make it that much more enjoyable. I have written many lenses on Fun in the Sun and you can see them all right here.

When I find a product I like I have to talk about it. There is nothing better than hearing a review on something you may be thinking about buying. I am always honest and tell you what I think - so here is one of them.

I do not get around to reading a lot of books. Most of my reading is research for my work in Birthday Parties and Crafting. Here is one book that I think is a great must have.

I do listen to music and have written about some of the trends in music today with some artist the kids love and I have enjoyed as well.

Now even though I am not blond - I do feel kinda spacey every now and then and as you can see it is not often. Space is a strange place, but it can bring some beautiful photos to us. I love Nebula's and shared all about it.

I am also a big Webkinz fan as you can see by the number of lenses I have written. The kids love them as well. Now even though the hype is dying down now I still feel they will be around a bit longer. It is all in fun.

I was proud to receive Lens of The Day for my lens on Barack Obama's Dog on May 18th, 2009. What an honor that was and a surprise to me as well. Who would have thought that out of all my lenses that The First Dog would get me this honor. I am not complaining by any means - I am very happy to have been noticed.

On May 17th, 2010 almost a year later to the day my lens Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party Supplies received the honor of Lens of the Day.

Having a Good Year I guess - June 7th, 2010 I received LOTD for my lens on Exercising in the Pool is it full of great ways you can get in shape while staying cool. Gotta Love That - Thanks Squidoo once again !!!

Another Squidoo honor is to receive a Purple Star for a lens. I happy to say I have received these as well. Now purple is my favorite color so I think I am extra excited to see these appear and also very thankful. You will see this wonderful star on these lenses of mine:
