Ryan Reynolds - The Proposal - Movie

Margaret is about to be deported since her Visa expired and paperwork was undone. Her only way out of the situation is demanding her secretary, Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds), marry her. He's desperate to get his own book published, as well as be promoted to an editor in the company, so he agrees. Why not, he's been pushed around by Margaret for 3 years already. A deal is made but Andrew forces Margaret to do the kneeling proposal.

Unfortunately, in the impromptu engagement announcement, happening in front of the Immigration official, Margaret agrees to visiting Andrew's family for the engagement announcement at the upcoming 90th birthday of Grandma Annie (Betty White). Most unfortunately, in Alaska.

Tons of comedy. A fun bit of romance. There are some touching moments. Great film for a date with your significant other. One film that should not be missed.

Who Is Ryan Reynolds?

Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian television and film actor best known for his roles in the comedy films National Lampoons Van Wilder, Waiting..., Just Friends, Definitely, Maybe and The Proposal and as Deadpool in Category: X-Men Origins: Wolverine - ''.

Ryan Reynolds's Movies

Adventureland

A sweet and slap-happy mix of indie coming-of-age drama and Judd Apatow's scatological but heartfelt manchild comedies, Greg Mottola's Adventureland is a winning look at the pleasures and frustrations of dead-end jobs and teenage kicks as viewed through a filter of mid-'80s pop culture. The underutilized and always watchable Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale) is a sheltered, introspective New York college grad who discovers that his parents' financial woes will not only quash his dream..

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Single-Disc Edition)

Wolverine, fan favorite of the X-Men universe in both comic books and film, gets his own movie vehicle with X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a tale that reaches way, way back into the hairy mutant's story. Somewhere in the wilds of northwest Canada in the early 1800s, two boys grow up amid violence: half-brothers with very special powers. Eventually they will become the near-indestructible warriors (and victims of a super-secret government program) known as Wolverine and Sabretooth, played respectively by Hugh Jackman (returning to his role)..

Chaos Theory

Ryan Reynolds' exceptional performance as an efficiency expert off his game is the best reason to see Chaos Theory, a drama-comedy full of surprises. Reynolds plays Frank, a compulsive list-maker and paragon of punctuality who gets behind schedule one day by a mere ten minutes and watches his world fall down around him. Arriving late for one of his own seminars, the rattled Frank becomes vulnerable to a serial seducer (Sarah Chalke) of married men, and drawn into a baby-delivery emergency. The ensuing confusion causes a rift between Frank and his suspicious wife (Emily Mortimer), which is nothing compared to what happens after Frank--trying to resolve his problems--discovers he's not the father of his daughter, Jesse (Elisabeth Harnois).

Definitely, Maybe (Widescreen)

A romantic comedy that begins with a discussion about sex education and ends with a bit of an unexpected twist, Definitely, Maybe focuses on an engaging father and his 10-year-old daughter. She is curious about the women her dad loved prior to marrying (and separating from) her mother. Instead of telling her, "None of your business," he decides to tell her about them... Sort of. Will is played by Ryan Reynolds and his precocious daughter Maya is adroitly portrayed by Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine). Will figures out a way to tell Maya about his most meaningful relationships in a PG manner that also is interactive for her (Or as she describes it, "a love story mystery!").

Just Friends

Back in high school, Chris (Reynolds) was an overweight nerd and in love with his best friend Jamie (Smart), but she only thought of him like a brother. Ten years later, Chris is now a hot L.A. music exec and finds himself himself back in his hometown and in love with Jamie all over again. But can they really be more than Just Friends?
