Am I A Bad Person?

I sometimes get myself into situations that could be best called, perilous. I don't do it on purpose, I just like to look around is all. I'm especially guilty of this with my gnome rogue. For some reason, the ability to stealth and having my best friend 'flash powder' with me everywhere I go, makes me feel somewhat invincible. I've spent a large portion of time with this little guy wandering around in places I just have no right to be.

The other night I was wondering around as usual when I came upon a large horde (pun intended) of guys just sitting around on their mounts. I always see these times as an 'opportunity'. A typical order of events follows and was exactly how this played out the other night:

I get to a good vantage point where I can see a clear path for me to use. I then turn off my stealth, pause until they notice (got 2 minutes one night before anything happened), and once I see I have their attention I run. And when I say run I mean use my sprint ability for a quick dash. The sprint gets me through the pack and once I have a few yards clear it's flash powder time. I always run at 90 degrees the instant I vanish and keep going until I see scattered boys behind me. Most of the time this works well, almost ALL of the time actually, but the other night was something EXTRA special.

Most guys give up trying to find me after a couple of minutes, occasionally they do find me and I think it's cool to be beaten by the better player. Most of the time however, I can stay hidden and they get bored after a few minutes of looking. Not these guys the other night. They went nuts. They ran around in a frenzy trying to find me. I lucked out and got the best hidey hole I've ever found and hardly moved, just watched them looking.

They just kept looking, and looking, and looking. I had time to go make a coffee and come back. I actually did that. And still they looked. I Alt-Tabbed and checked my email. And still they looked. They looked for exactly 1 hour and 6 minutes. I swear that's true.

Ready for the best part?

I was getting bored and decided one last taunt was in order. I waited until they'd moved off a little from my position, I turned off stealth, waited until they'd noticed and were running for me, and then hearthed back to Iron Forge. I just wanted to leave them with the knowledge that'd I'd been there the whole time, and that they didn't find me. Is that bad? Am I evil? Or was it in the spirit of the game?
