The Matildas' Thea Slatyer

Thea Slatyer is one interesting young lady. Not only is she a sporting superstar, playing soccer for Australia, but she also has some useful skills that have landed her a covetted job looking after some of the world's top celebrities. Soon she may be flying them around the country as well.

Thea Slatyer

Bodyguard and Soccer Player

Thea Slatyer has a black belt in karate and holds a firearm licence, very handy credentials in her part time job as a bodyguard to celebrities including Russell Crowe, Mischa Barton, Elle Macpherson, and Megan Gale. Thea is aiming to complete her pilot's licence soon.

In addition to this high-flying, action-packed life, Thea is also a star defender for The Matildas - Australia's Women's Soccer team. Unfortunately she was not named in the team to play in the 2008 AFC Women's Asian Cup. Hopefully we'll see more of her soon.
