The Beekeeper's Apprentice - My Review
The Beekeeper's Apprentice is the first in a wonderful series that continues the fascinating world of Sherlock Holmes into his later years. The real star however is Mary Russell, a teenager from America who is living in England after the death of her parents. When she and Holmes meet, the vitality of their minds and spirits draws them together and into a series of adventures that is nothing short of sheer delight. Mary is more than a quick study; she is in every way an equal to Holmes himself. I highly recommend not only The Beekeeper's Apprentice, but all the Mary Russell books to anyone with a love of all things Holmes.

What Did You Think About The Beekeeper's Apprentice?
This book was a wonderful delight, in my opinion. Even my son enjoyed it, and didn't find it too much of a 'chick's version' of Sherlock Holmes. In fact, I may get the audio version for my hubby to listen to on his way to work since he really loves the old Holmes books.
So sound off here - great, just okay, or too chicky, the choice is yours.
