Looking for the best way to get rid of Cellulite

 

In this article I will first tell you exactly what Cellulite is, where it comes from and then explain to you exactly how to get rid of it.

So what is Cellulite really? 

Before we can get rid of Cellulite it is important to understand what it really is, you see many of us have a hard time distinguishing between words like, fat, cellulite, adipose tissue, visceral fat etc, in some way all of these terms exist together to term "excess weight."

Although we may not know the technical definition of cellulite, most of know what it is when we see it in that dusty full length mirror in the corner of our bedrooms. You may find yourself extremely frustrated with the fact that no matter how hard you try through the use of proper diet and exercise, you can't seem to rid your thighs of that dimply, lumpy area.

Did you know that Cellulite can also be a sign of aging? 

Most women and some men, end up with some cellulite as they age. Women are more likely because of their God given ability to store weight on their thighs, hips and buttocks due to hormones. (For good reason might I add, take a look at your beautiful kids, there is a reason why they came out healthy and gorgeous!)

Where does Cellulite come from? 

Cellulite, which causes the skin to dimple is caused by fibrous cords that connect the skin to underlying tissue. The cords connect the skin to deeper structures, with fat lying between the layers.

As fat cells accumulate, they push up against the skin, causing the skin to appear rippled or indented.

What is the best way to get rid of Cellulite? 

Getting rid of cellulite is not an impossible task, however it is near impossible to rid your body of it completely. Nowadays there are rubs, scrubs, wraps, lotions and miracle diets that "promise" to get rid of your cellulite. Do yourself a favor and don't buy into the hype, but rather commit yourself to a clean diet and proper amounts of exercise, trying exercises that target the problem area.

By combining fat burning workouts like cardio and muscle intensive training like squats and leg exercises with free weights, it is possible to stop the storing of fatty tissue and help to smooth out the appearance of cellulite. Also limiting the amount of unhealthy fat in your diet, will limit the amount of fat storage on your body. Eat more fruits, green vegetables and lean protein so your body will utilize all it needs from what you eat and store nothing. After all eating green will help you stay lean! That doesn't mean you can't enjoy an odd treat now and then, but why not keep those treats on the healthy side as well. Here is an amazingly yummy recipe that is low in calories but high in flavor.

Baked Brown-Sugared Apple

1 small-med sized apple
Brown-Sugar substitute (Splenda or Twin) or cinnamon and Splenda
1 Tbsp of Fat Free Cool Whip

Take a med sized apple and core it, place it on a cooking pan for 20-25 minutes on 325 degrees. Remove from oven, remove apple peel and cut into chunks. Sprinkle brown sugar substitute and top with 1 tbsp of fat free cool whip! Talk about a low fat alternative for apple crumble. Make a big serving size and take it to your Thanksgiving dinner, and share the health wealth!


Enjoy and remember, keep your goals realistic and your view of your body based upon health rather than what others define as acceptable. Your body is a wonderful machine, and remember Cellulite is simply a fat that is natural and one that through a healthy diet and exercise you can get rid of!
