My Cabbage Soup Diet Review

 

I recently went on the cabbage soup diet, in this lens I'll discuss my experience, recommendation and give you everything you need to know if you want to go on the cabbage soup diet yourself.

What is the Cabbage Soup Diet and How Does it Work?

The cabbage soup diet involves drastically cutting your caloric intake and filling your body with low calorie vegetables and fruits. The cabbage soup diet involves a seven day process, which directs you to eat certain foods each day. The only thing can you can eat without any limit is the cabbage soup, which is extremely low in calories.

My Experience

To be very honest I couldn't get though the seven days. I got really sick of only fruits, vegetables and cabbage soup and on day 3 and my body just said "NO" you have to stop. If you have ever done a similar diet where you are restricted to eating a single thing you'll know what I mean.

So I wound up stopping the Cabbage soup diet and instead went on this Accelerated Fat Burning Interval Diet instead (that I found completly by accident). I did much  better on it and got the results I wanted.

My Recommendation

If you can last eating the same thing for an entire week or you are interested in "detoxing" your body then by all means try the cabbage soup diet... but if you know yourself and know that you won't be able to stick with it, I'd recommend you pass and instead go on this metabolism interval diet instead.

Cabbage Soup Diet Best Recipe 

* 6 Green Onions
* 2 Green Peppers
* 2 Cans Of Diced Or Whole Tomatoes
* 3 Carrots
* 10 Ounces of Mushrooms
* A Bunch Of Celery
* Half A Head Of Cabbage
* A Can Of V8 Juice
* Seasoning
* Lipton Soup Mix Or Bouillon To Taste

The Cabbage Soup Diet Steps 

Day 1: Eat all of the fruit and cabbage soup that you want, as long as you avoid bananas. You can have unsweetened tea, water or cranberry juice to drink.

Day 2: Eat all the cabbage soup and vegetables that you want as long as you avoid corn, peas and dry beans. You should also avoid fruit on the second day, but can reward yourself with a baked potato with butter for dinner.

Day 3: Combine the requirements for day one and two by eating all of the soup, vegetables and fruits that you want, but you cannot eat a baked potato.

Day 4: You can have as many as eight bananas, and can drink as much milk as you like. You can continue to eat as much of the cabbage soup as you want.

Day 5: You can eat as much as ten or twenty ounces of beef along with six fresh tomatoes. You should drink around eight glasses of water today to wash all the uric acid out of your body. You can substitute broiled fish for the beef once per week, or can have broiled or baked chicken as long as there is no skin.

Day 6: You can eat as much beef and as many vegetables as you want, as long as you stick to leafy green vegetables. You can have two or three steaks if you want, but no baked potato and you should aim to eat your soup at least one time.

Day 7: Stuff yourself with brown rice, vegetables and unsweetened fruit juices. You should eat your soup at least once per day.

If you are looking for a quick way to lose weight some temporary weight and can eat the same thing for an entire week, this may be the diet for you.

The Cabbage soup diet a detoxifying diet, as it allows you to flush many of the bad things out of your body. The cabbage soup diet is meant to be short term only, because there are not enough nutrients in the diet to support yourself on.

Also be warned... this is not a permanent weight loss option. You cannot continue this diet for very long as it does not have enough vitamins and nutriants to sustain you... and you will get sick of eating cabbage soup very quickly.

As I mentioned earlier if you want an alternative, I recommend going on this accelerated interval fat buring diet instead.
