Highly recommended! Gertrud, was a Convert to Catholicism and wrote this book in the 1930s. Her astonishing portrayal of the dignity of woman as she stands in the Eternal thought of God, exemplified by the Virgin Mary, are countered by almost prophetical insights as to how the feminist movement of her time was to lead to the brash, brutal, masculine female of today.
