Complete Artists Success

I must admit that it was the title that drew me to The Complete Artists Success Guidebook, by Richard Robinson in Ruakaka, which is in Northland, New Zealand. I mean, who does not desire to experience success as an artist?

That is in truth the point of the ebook - producing artwork that sparks, the buying response. This Is not your regular instruction book. His advice is direct, merge all of his elements to attract buyers.

Apart from the open mercantilism, his advice is very beneficial, and addresses numerous subjects that I have not come across in many other books. I believe these are the matters that truly make a painting exciting. Or make selling paintings exciting

Overall, this is a quite an fascinating and stimulating ebook, so it gets my recommendation.

Richard Robinson is a noted artist and the and the creator of this well assemble guidebook.

Big mistakes I have made as an artist

The life of an artist can be extremely difficult times. Not only do we have to deal with the making sure we have all the supplies we need, but we also have to deal with how we're gonna sell a painting and how much we're gonna sell the painting for.

For so long I have struggled as an artist I only wish I had had this ebook earlier so I could get through most of the rough times, that in the beginning, were placed in front of me. Had I own this book from the first day and I finish my first painting I could've had advance knowledge of how to go about selling my first painting. But as it goes my paintings sold for very cheap because I didn't know what price to put on it as an artist. So my first complete and priced painting sold from mere pennies to the procession of charge.

Nobody you'll tell you techniques on how to get advertising or how to get free advertising for that matter. No one will tell you how to get paid for promoting your art. But in this book can you will learn just as I did all of these techniques.

Things I have learned through my mistakes as an artist

The first time I went into the art gallery I was quite overwhelmed I didn't know what to expect. The fact is, it is most art gallery's are art gallery's because they want to make money. Some might disagree with that, but the truth is if they didn't buy your paintings at low prices and sell them and make a nice profit they too would be a business. I was happy to learn how to approach these galleries on my terms and not their terms. This was beneficial for my livelihood as an artist.

Another thing I learned from this ebook that was crucial was to start generating a client base. Some of my it buyers love my art so much, but I used to think that when I finished making a sale with them that it was all over. This was one of my biggest mistakes, not only show by continued contact with my buyers, but I should also have continued selling to them. These are things they don't teach you in school.

If you're like me sometimes life can be in chaos as an artist, I personally knew I had to find a balance. In order for me to have a healthy work life I had to be comfortable in every area of my life whether I was painting or going to the grocery store to pick up some groceries. If your life is another healthy balance how can we as artists find inspiration when even our lives are inspired. Reading this book has helped me gain some foothold and gain control over how I run my life and not let my life run me.

I urge any artist out there who's try to get a handle on how this business works to get this book and to read it thoroughly. I personally bought this ebook and I printed out immediately once I seen how much it inspired me. You will not be able to put this book down and which are gonna learn from it is going to change your life.

I'm not an artist...but I have a sister who is and for her I think it was all about confidence. Knowing you can do it, practicing, and doing it. That first "knowing you can do it" seems to be a key factor.

I think what Julie said is great advice too - for any kind of artist the blank page can be overwhelming. Squidoo is a great way to showcase your art too - I look forward to seeing more of your work

Simply put -- the biggest obstacle is GETTING STARTED! Over-thinking, not taking the first step!
