The Dallas Cowboys: 2009 NFC East Champions!
With Owens gone the pressure should be off Romo to constantly try and feed the ball to him to keep him happy. And with Roy Williams in the fold the receiving corps is solid, yet not spectacular. However, with Felix Jones returning from injury the Cowboys will feature the running game more prominently, which will take even more pressure of Tony Romo and will ultimately lead to a much more balanced attack.
The Cowboys are heading into this April's draft without any glaring need and can select the "best player available". They will, however address the secondary, which is arguably the weakest unit on the team.
I predict the Dallas Cowboys will win the NFC East championship in 2009

Good point, indeed!
Jeff, at 2pm on November 11, 2009 predicts:
They'll win the Division easily I think. Its the playoff that will be more interesting. Romo still has to get over his choking instances, plus theres the Saints to contend with...that is if they make it to the NFC Championship.
rtabel, at 4pm on November 9, 2009 predicts:
The Giants are toast; stick a fork in them! In the last 7 games I see them lose to the Vikings, Cowboys, Broncos and one more between Philly/Atlanta. That will put them at 8-8, maybe 9-7...No playoffs for you...!
rtabel, at 9pm on October 25, 2009 predicts:
So far, it doesn't look like they need to...
RayChase, at 2pm on May 28, 2009 predicts:
To do that, they would have to beat the Giants both times.....not gonna happen!

The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team that plays in the Eastern Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). They are headquartered in Valley Ranch in suburban Irving, Texas, which lies between Fort Worth and Dallas. The team plays its home games at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which finished construction in time for the 2009 season. The Cowboys joined the NFL as a 1960 expansion team. The team's national following might best be represented by its NFL record of consecutive games in front of sold-out stadiums. The Cowboys' streak of 160 sold-out regular and post-season games began in 1990, and included 79 straight sellouts at their former home, Texas Stadium, and 81 straight sell-outs on the road.
An article from Forbes Magazine, dated September 2, 2009, lists the Cowboys as the most valuable sports franchise in the United States, and second in the world (behind the United Kingdom's Manchester United), with an estimated value of approximately $1.65 billion, ahead of the Washington Redskins ($1.5 billion) and the New England Patriots ($1.361 billion). They are also one of the wealthiest teams in the NFL, generating almost $269 million in annual revenue.

- The Cowboys had a tough start but right now they are looking good. If they can win the next few games and more importantly the game against the Eagles they should end up in a good place for the end of the year.
P.S. Go make your own prediction, Bub

- Not sure who will win the NFC East in 2009 but we hope it is not the Eagles. We are originally from Pittsburgh and later in life moved to the Philly area. Real Steeler fans always root against the Eagles.
Go Steelers!!!
