Dyson Ball

I am not sure how Dyson initially gained my interest, but I have wanted one since the first time that I ever saw one. I do not remember if I was at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or if I was at Linens and Things, but where I was is besides the point. I was walking aimlessly down the aisles when I came across a little TV showing a video about Dyson Vacuum Cleaners.

This was years before we were blessed with the innovative Dyson Ball. It was just their original DC-Something. It was a big fancy yellow futuristic looking devise that was supposedly the future of vacuum cleaners.

This thing was great. t looked cool, it was bright yellow, and it actually made me want to buy it so that I could go home and clean my house. I do not know if it was because of the guy with the foreign accent that was trying to convince me to buy on the little screen there at the store, or if it was the fact that t never loses suction, or if it was the way that it looked. I am still not sure why I wanted one so bad. Unfortunately, they were like $500!!!

At that time, I could not afford to buy a vacuum cleaner for $500! But as time went on, my curiosity and desire to have a Dyson continued to grow. 7 years and quite a few Dyson products later, they finally came out with the Ball.

I have since then purchased one. It was everything that I had hoped it would be. It works great, it handles easily with just a slight turn of the wrist. PLUS it still looks pretty cool, futuristic, and they are still yellow!!!
