One of the reasons I got into the all natural candle business was because I first purchased the candles at a home party. I couldn't believe how great they smelled! I know that sounds like a bunch of hype to the skeptic, but I could literally light one in the living room and smell it all the way in my office at the front of the house. I bought two initially and ended up throwing all of my other candles away.The best part about this particular candle was that it is made with all-natural wax and being as I try to keep my lifestyle environmentally friendly, I was elated to find a candle that fit the bill!

Do you love scented candles?
You should get into the business!
I love scented candles. A lot of people do, actually about 80% of the United States population burns scented candles.
And like most people, I would run down to Wal-Mart or if I had the extra money, Pier1 and pick one up to burn at home. Usually during the holidays or when the weather turned cooler.
It never dawned on me that I could turn something I did for my own enjoyment, into a successful business.
My first introduction to these candles was at a candle party. No surprise there. Most of us get into our own home businesses after attending a party of some kind.
What made this business so different though was that I didn't have to keep up on countless inventory, obsolete items, or a low return on my investment. It was a product that I used in my own home countless times, year after year.
So when I first purchased these candles, I, like most people purchased them because they smelled great!
What I wasn't prepared for was how WELL they smelled. I could light a jar candle in one room and could smell it throughout the entire house!
I'm a skeptic by nature so although I was impressed, I was afraid that this great smell wouldn't last.
I had helped a friend at her party and that was what was important.
Boy, was I wrong!
Every day I would light this candle and every day it smelled just as great as it did the first time I lit it. It's now down to the very last 1/4 of the candle and guess what, it still smells great!What if you could learn how to build a prosperous business just by asking someone the simple question "Do you burn scented candles?" and then handing them a sample that smells fantastic?
If you've been looking for a simple but effective home-based business, the candle business might just be for you.
