Yes, what you say does make a big difference if you speak positively then positive responses are what you will receive in return.

Heather426 says:

Yes, I do. Actually scientists have studied this subject and astonishingly,
it was discovered that simply changing the words you use to describe events changes your own level of energy so you have control simply by choosing wisely before you speak...Anthony Robbins explains this brilliantly in my opinion...

drifter0658 says:

Absolutely! What we say carries so much weight in who we are and how people perceive us.

mirit says:

its not just the semantics but the emotion and beliefs around what you are saying. If you say positive things out loud and think negative things inside your head... you negate the positive. But the more you say positive things outwardly the more you can negate the inward thoughts.

Tammylove2 says:

definately, negativity attracts more negativity and vice versa with positive.

WhiteOak50 says:

Without a doubt it matters what you say and how you say it!

Vacation-In-My-Head says:

Yes, it does. What you say is ultimately a result of how/what you think. If you are speaking negatively you are thinking that way and that's what you are going to attract, the same is ture if you are speaking and thinking positively.

donielle says:

What you say does make a big difference, not just for you, but others as well. We tend to conform to what others are doing, saying or feeling. If you are having a bad day, others can absorb that and begin feeling badly as well. I don't think that speaking positively means that others will be positive though. It makes things easier and gives you a better change of a positive response, but it's not always how it works. Keep a watchful eye, if someone is having a bad day, step in, ask what you can do to help. This way you can remain positive and serve at the same time.

sandyspider says:

I think some people are born negative. Like me! Although, I tell people that I am more of a realist. But there is proof in positive thinking and actions. It is something, I know I need to work on.

Jewelsofawe says:

Yes, it matters

Nope, you get what you get and no matter what I say it isn't going to make a difference!

The Law Of Attraction tells us... HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE

If you decide to be happy... will you attract happiness?

Do you belive happiness is a choice?

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION STATES: you draw to you more of what you already have. That is why people who seem to always be happy and having fun continue to have fun and be happy, they draw more happiness to them.

"They" Say Although you can't control what other people do, the whether, other drivers on the road, if people are nice to you, or most of your environment, you can control how you respond to people, circumstances, and the situations you experience!

Therefore, HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE.

However, most people believe they have little or no control over life and most of us have been conditioned to turn be "auto responders".

When you interact with a website you put in some information and an auto responder sends you an email or a pop up comes up telling you what happens next or what to do next.

So, when life "puts some information in", in the form of interaction with other people, our environment, or life situations, we automatically respond in ways that we have been conditioned to respond from past experiences.

There is a famous saying, "The definition of insanity is doing what you've always done and expecting different results".

If you continue to do what you've always done, your going to continue to get what you've always gotten.

We have our auto responders turned on and just respond or react to everything that happens around us, and we react the same way to a situation today as we did last time we experienced a similar situation.

Something happens, we continue to do what we've always done by reacting the way we always react and then we wonder why we are not happy. What this means is most of us are running around responding like we were insane!

Unless of course we have pre-programmed "happy auto responder system" installed as our conditioned response, in which case being an auto responder wouldn't be all bad because most of the time people with a "happy auto responder system" will ATTRACT more happiness.

The only problem with having a "happy auto responder system" is the fact that it is still a conditioned auto responder and there will still be certain people, events, and situations which will cause an "error" in the "happy auto responder system" and will cause your "happy system" to shut down!

Therefore, it is imperative to understand how we do have a choice. Each day we are faced with numerous choices and we can CHOOSE to respond consciously and decide to be happy, see the silver lining in every cloud, look for the positive side of situations and people, and CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY and ATTRACT more happiness to our lives.

OR we can just let our "default auto responders" handle our emotional well being AND RUN OUR LIVES FOR US. So we can spend our time continuing to what we've always done and wonder why our life isn't how we want it to be! And we will keep getting more of what we don't want because that is what we have ATTRACTED thus far and will be what we continue to ATTRACT, which is other auto responders responding to our unhappiness.

What do you think about this and why?

Are you an auto responder? Or do you consciously CHOOSE your responses?

Is happiness a choice? If so how do you CHOOSE happiness?

If you choose to be happy will only happy things and people surround you?

How can you be happy when mean people or a bad situation surround you?

We (Tammylove - Tammy G and Tammy W) need your thoughts and feelings on these questions. We are insightful gals and have seen and heard much in our life time. However, by no means are we foolish enough to "think we know it all" because we have made that mistake on an occasion or two, and the exact moment we think we've seen it all or know it all about a particular subject, we have been taught the hard way about an exception to THAT rule. So, please help us with our mission of bringing together in one place ALL the pieces of the puzzle of life so we can present a complete picture to our readers. Your insight is extremely valuable to the rest of the world! You may have experienced something no one else ever has, so your insight could teach the rest of the world a valuable lesson and fill in some gaps. Life is too short to experience everything ourselves and life is too short to make every mistake ourselves, so smart people learn by watching and listening to other people's mistakes, accomplishments, and insights. Therefore, the world needs you to share with us and help us help each other. Thank you, Tammylove.

DEFINATELY! Happiness is MY CHOICE!

hlkljgk says:

absolutely!

karmasherbs says:

Hi Tammylove - you couldn't have said it better. Happiness is a choice, but most of us have had to learn this. Maybe the next generation will be conditioned to know that they are "choosing happiness" or not...

jessicahoward says:

happiness comes from inside.you shoud be happy doing your things...sometime it comes when you compromise, when you adjust something with someone..in sort helping someone is the best way to get happiness...and i am very happy because i am a positive person....

drifter0658 says:

Right On!

rydigga says:

Of course. We have been blessed with the power to control our thoughts. Very few exercise this right, so they feel that they are at the mercy of external conditions. Happiness is a simple choice.

yagera says:

Yes, this is very true, this I tried to explain to a few people the other day, they have to choose to be happy.

Happiness is a choice!

Smartshops says:

To be awake is to be alive!

Janiece says:

Yes, absolutely! I had to find that out the hard way though - through my own experiences.

For me, part of it was simply realization (You mean I have a choice in how I view life's experiences?! I can choose to feel happy, or at least calm and relaxed,..I can choose to feel immersed in God's love.. no matter the circumstances?!), part of it was a change in attitude, and part of it was looking at life from a spiritual viewpoint (Ah, there is a reason this is happening to me. What am I to learn from it?). When you no longer see yourself as a victim of life's circumstances, it changes everything.

ratso says:

absolutely !
and great lens 5*

smallson says:

Be Joyful, Pray incessently and give thanks for everything going your way. I have beautiful family to prove it.

AnnRadley says:

Absolutely. Things are rarely "just right' externally. Yet I think light and love animates everything. When I remember to connect with that, rather then external results, I so ok. (not that I always remember)

Vacation-In-My-Head says:

Yes, it is definately a choice. And I choose each and everyday to be happy. As Abraham Lincoln said "People are about as happy as they make up their mind to be" I believe this is true.

Lamarena says:

The opportunity of being happy is established in our unsound mind. Happiness is a choice, an attitude, NOT A Situation. We choose to be happy or sad, regardless of what surrounds us. Those people who do not realize that they have chosen to be sad will forever overlook many good things; amplify the bad things in life. And accelerate many aging processes and onset of painful diseases, which make them even sadder, more depressed and a discouraging burden on society.

flipflopnana says:

Yes it is a choice and I make that choice each and everyday, happiness is inside me, I do not need anything to make me happy.

donielle says:

We reap what we sow. I don't think it's KARMA, I don't care for that term. It's God. If we believe, repent and serve, as we are to do, we reap the rewards. Times are tough, when we need them to be and God always knows, but there is a purpose in it, if you just give it time. Can we make ourselves happy?? Not exactly, but we can choose to live the best that we can in the faith and service of our Lord. Which in turn, brings God joy, bringing us joy! Please remember, it isn't about us, it's about God!

Jewelsofawe says:

I do believe happiness is a choice

Eclectic_Muse says:

I am happy because I choose to be happy. I've always tried to be positive and think positive thoughts. Never let negativity bring you down. Once you do, you could become trapped in a spiral you may not get free of. My parents taught me to think happy thoughts from an early age. I appreciate that more so now than ever.

tanja7 says:

What is Happiness?
Happiness doesnt depend on having more things, getting your own way or doing what you think it should. Happiness comes from knowing that while we cant make an unhappy person happy, we are constantly and inevitably affecting other peoples wellbeing. All our encounters with others lift their spirits or lower them. Taking this power seriously is a crucial way of growing into our highest potential. We need to shift our thinking from 'What will make me happy?' to 'How can I most positively affect the world around me?'. being a source of happiness, support, interest, comfort and wellbeing for others will transform our own lives.

Tammy Weber says:

We all have days that we think life sucks but those days come and go! Believe me I have so many days that I didn't want to get out of bed. After I did things weren't as bad as I thought.. If you think about there is always someone else in the world who has life much worse than you. However you just havent met them. All of us need people it's human nature let those you help you put the bad behind you and you will see just how much better positive thoughts make your world.. Tammy Weber

NotHere says:

Happiness can be a choice or a conditioned response. The "auto responder" type has been conditioned to this response since early childhood. The person on "auto response" will give what they have found works best for a given situation. They also update this response every time they use it. If they fine that a given response doesn't work, then they will try another response that may closely match the situation. They will keep doing this until something "fits".
Choosing happiness does not mean being bouncy and glib with a smile on your face all the time. It refers to a positive attitude and a way to look at all situations from a positive prospective. In other words, how to make lemonade out of the lemons the world has put in front of you.
Most situations found in life are neutral and your approach to them is what gives them there color, be it good or bad. With a positive attitude, you will find yourself in happier situations most of the time.
Bad or mean people and situations do occur, but with a positive attitude the edge will be taken off what is happening and a way for handling the confrontation will show itself.

daria369 says:

Yes, absolutely!

Tammylove says:

Happiness is a choice, but it is a hard thing to learn that it is a choice because we have been been conditioned to just respond to our environment. "They" forgot to include the information about happiness being a choice in the "parents manual", oh wait, "they" forgot to write a parents manual. Well, I just discovered my next project. Ha Ha

NO WAY! I just can't choose to be happy, I am happy when there is something to be happy about!

WhiteOak50 says:

I believe happiness is a choice as long as there is something there to make you happy. I could not choose to be happy if I was around someone who was filled with grief.

sheila says:

happiness is something that everyone searches for but some find and others keep searching. what is happiness who created happiness? i think we have all made of the definations of happpiness no one really knows what it is all about.

sandyspider says:

I can't turn happiness on and off. Something has to click to make me happy.

Finally, the truth has come forth!

It's About Time
MANKIND NO LONGER HAS TO LIVE IN FEAR, DOUBT, AND GUILT!!!

The TRUTH is finally coming forth. The road to enlightenment has been hidden under a veil of secrecy since the beginning of time. The secrets to enlightenment were reserved for an elite few who gave up all material objects as well as all personal relationships and devoted their entire lives to the search for these secrets.
It is no longer necessary to become a monk, live in isolation in some remote area of the world, or give up all the pleasures of human life in order to become spiritually enlightened - unless that is what you believe you have to do and you're not willing to open your mind and see there is another way!
Maybe a better way... becoming a monk may be a great way for some individuals to discover secrets of the universe, live in harmony with the universe, find true inner peace, happiness, and joy but lets face it... most people are not "that committed" to the search. Thankfully it is no longer considered "the only road" to enlightenment.
There are many roads to enlightenment. Some roads are expressways and some roads are detours. We all have "lessons" we need to learn on our journey through life. So, as we travel the roads on our personal journey we learn as we go. And thankfully the TRUTH has finally surfaced.
The most important TRUTH you will ever be told is that... YOU are on the right track... no matter where you are right NOW... you are exactly where you need to be to learn the lessons you need to learn to get you to where you need to go... you are on the right road for you to reach enlightenment and you will get there... it is inevitable!!!
Therefore, it is now time to RELAX and BREATHE! Everything is going to be okay! And that in itself is a very big secret that has finally been exposed to the light...
Relax and breathe... everything is going to be okay... is exactly the most important secret to enlightenment... this and much more will be explained through out this site.
So, find a comfortable chair, relax and breathe knowing everything will be okay regardless of how it seems in this moment and enjoy the journey through this site...
There are many, many roads to enlightenment and more explanations than a person can possibly count... However, once a person is shown how to "see" it is amazingly wonderful, simple, and you will just giggle when you realize all the information you ever needed was right in front of you as well as all around you... every minute of everyday... in so many different ways.
So, sit back and enjoy the ride as I will begin to fill these pages with the clues that have always been there but this time when you look at them you'll be seeing them through "another lens" in a different light... and you'll wonder why we all have made it so difficult... when it is really so simple! Bless you and may your journey be most joyous!

Your beliefs are the foundation for your world!

Are you strong enough...
to with stand an earthquake...
or will you crumble easily?
How do you handle it when someone believes the opposite of what you believe... and has they " proof" they are correct!?!

Our personal belief systems are the foundations on which we build our entire lives. There are various sets of beliefs we include as we build our personal foundation. Some of our building block include but are not limited to our religion, race, nationality, gender, our roles in life, our finances, what we think about other people, how we view ourselves, and our opinions of the world in general. This is the natural process. However, most of us have been building our foundations with extremely rigid blocks that barely flux or do not flux at all to allow for atmospheric changes. Herein lies the problem.
Life is constantly changing. The "atmosphere" of life is under continual construction and change in conditions is inevitable. Every single day mankind has multiple new discoveries, many of them frighten us or threaten our belief systems.
Our belief systems%u2026 are our personal foundations. What happens when a new discovery or point of view does not agree with the building blocks we have included on this subject in our personal foundation.? That depends on the type of building blocks used when developing your personal foundation. It can be extremely scary in the very least for people with a rigid belief system who hold a strong attachment to their beliefs.
An rigid belief system would be a belief system build on polarities. Herein lies the problem. The human race has been conditioned to believe in polarities, which means it is one way or it is the opposite way, something or someone is either right or wrong, good or bad, black or white, it is or it isn't, and that is that. They believe there are no grey areas, and there is no room for varying points of view or ideas. For example, a person with a polarity mindset has been trained to believe that if two people have conflicting beliefs then one of them is correct and the other of them has to be WRONG!
So, the usual reaction to someone presenting a conflicting point of view - a view we ourselves find hard to accept or hard to believe because it doesn't agree with our personal belief system will be dismissed as being crazy, weird, or at the very least sadly misinformed. BUT what happens when the person with a view opposite of our own view can demonstrate "proof" - convincing proof which validates their view?
Well, that depends on the structure of the building blocks with which you built your personal foundation. If your building blocks are of the earthquake/hurricane proof type, you will be in great shape regardless of the atmospheric changes and you can rest easy because you will flow easily when strong winds of change breeze by or when the ground starts to shake.
If your building blocks are not earthquake/hurricane proof but you built a good strong foundation on steady ground, you will fare well in most cases. However, if your personal building blocks are of the most rigid form%u2026 the kind only used in steady atmospheric conditions%u2026 and a sudden unexpected tornado blows through town%u2026 you just might have some concerns to deal with.
The rigid type of personal building blocks are created by the "Polarity System". The Polarity System is based on the belief there is only one truth, one correct way, or only one "right" way to do things. By adapting the Polarity System to build our personal foundation blocks; we limit ourselves profoundly and we limit each other as well.
Humans are creatures of habit who become set in their ways rather easily. Polarity thoughts teach us; if I am "right" then you are "wrong" and if you are "right" then I am wrong. So, if I have a "Polarity Belief System" and I believe something to be true but you "show me" another point of view I will have no choice but to dismiss you as incorrect at the very least, as a self survival coping mechanism.
However, if you are able to come up with irrefutable proof of your point of view and it is completely opposite of my belief system and my belief system has been built with rigid inflexible building blocks%u2026 then my foundation may begin to crumble and fall apart. And we all know what happens to a structure once the foundation starts to give way. The structure will collapse%u2026 unless we are quick enough, wise enough, and emotionally wealthy enough to get under there and recreate a foundation which will fare better with the changing times and new discoveries.
Far too often we humans tend to get frightened easily by change. We have made up our minds that we know the best way things should be done. We know how things should be done. And we know that what we know is truly the way "it should be", we know what is best for ourselves and we know what is best for everyone else. Therefore, we will argue, fight, get divorced, quit a job, fire an employee, not to mention the fact that human beings will and have even started wars - - many of them, to stand up for and defend what they "know" to be true or the "best way"!
In my opinion a quote from the 1997 movie, MEN IN BLACK says it best, "People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow".
Well folks, tomorrow is here! It is now today. And today we are lucky! We no longer have to be "dumb, panicky dangerous animals" (unless of course we like it that way and choose to remain in the dark). The clouds are lifting, the atmosphere is clearing, and there is plenty of sunlight shining on the shroud of mystery which has for so very long concealed the truths of the universe.
The funny part about this is%u2026 all the truths have been here%u2026 right in front of our faces%u2026 all along! We just didn't know which lens to look at them with. The "Secrets of the Universe" turn out to be not so "Secret" after all.
Once you "see" all the "pieces" of the "puzzle" and start "matching" the "similar pieces" you will just be amazed how it all "fits" together so easily and how it all forms ONE big beautiful picture. And you see... WE ARE ALL RIGHT! NOT TO MENTION THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS! WE ARE ALL CORRECT!

Heather426 says:

Yes I agree.

drifter0658 says:

Indeed. All of our insights are what make up our truths.

WhiteOak50 says:

I believe that the path I follow creates the world I live in. (smiles) Individuality is a strong concept for me, without individuality life would be boring (to me). It is the mixture of beliefs and views that gives life a chance to grow.

TanituIsland says:

I Believe !

Vacation-In-My-Head says:

Absolutely, if you change your thoughts you can change your world.

donielle says:

I'm going to say yes, but don't agree with the statement that follows it. A person's beliefs do create your entire world, that is true. However, there is only one real truth. We are on earth for a higher purpose. We are here for God, for his pleasure and he truly is in control. If we don't accept that and accept Jesus as our savior, this alters our entire life, here on earth and in eternity. You can be on this earth, no matter what your beliefs, however really living requires faith and love of/for God. Earth is just to prepare us for our eternal kingdom, your beliefs here on earth determine you place in eternity. The one and only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ.

Jewelsofawe says:

Yes, I agree

Nope, there is only one truth and people who think differently are just delusional, mentally ill, or just plain crazy!

Earth Angel's

Friends are God's way of taking care of us.

This was written by a Metro Denver Hospice Physician:

I was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5 p.m., stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and splutter and die - I barely managed to coast, cursing, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the 'quickie mart' building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a gas pump, so I got out to see if she was okay.

When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than that she had fallen. She was a young woman who looked really haggard with dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and I picked it up to give it to her. It was a nickel.

At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95.

I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept saying 'don't want my kids to see me crying,' so we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving toCalifornia and that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, 'And you were praying?' That made her back away from me a little, but I assured her I was not a crazy person and said, 'He heard you, and He sent me.'

I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so she could fill up her car completely, and while it was fuelling, walked to the next door McDonald's and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the car, who attacked it like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little.

She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas City her boyfriend left 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn't have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in ab out 5 years. They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to get on her feet there.

She told the kids they were going toCalifornia for Christmas, but not that they were going to live there.

I gave her my gloves , a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she said, 'So, are you like an angel or something?'

This definitely made me cry. I said, 'Sweetie, at this time of year angels are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people.'

It was so incredible to be a part of someone else's miracle. And of course, you guessed it, when I got in my car it started right away and got me home with no problem. I'll put it in the shop tomorrow to check, but I suspect the mechanic won't find anything wrong.

Sometimes the angels fly close enough to you that you can hear the flutter of their wings...

Psalms 55:22 'Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.'

Here is a prayer:

'Father, I ask You to bless my children, grandchildren, friends, relatives and e-mail buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace, in Jesus' precious name. Amen.'

When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say,
'Jesus, could You please get that for me?' I specially like this!!

Psalm 55:22 ---

Universal Laws

Overview Of Other Cosmic Laws

Each law overview is from a different website. I have included the web address so you can go to these sites and read everything these authors have written. I chose various websites in order to have as many view points as possible because each site has a varied number of laws and explain them differently as well. The fundamental aspects of the laws remain the same but each persons view point or "translation" of the laws is what is unique.

* The Law Of Attraction

* The Law Of Forgiveness

* The Law Of Thinking

* The Law Of Increase

* The Law Of Compensation

* The Law Of Gratitude

* The Law Of Supply

* The Law Of Receiving

* The Law Of Non-Resistance

* The Law Of Sacrifice

* The Law Of Obedience

The Law of Attraction

The Law Of Attraction

You likely know someone who is a great at manifesting. You may even have felt somewhat jealous of that person because it appears they have everything, seemingly getting these things with little effort as if they were born under a lucky star. Well, it may be that they very well were born with the knowledge of manifesting already intact. I say this because I believe once we learn something in another life (Yes, I believe in past lives, parallel existences) it is not lost, and that we can choose to bring those talents with us as we move into a new life experience.
Attracting Abundance is Knowledge
As any other skill people have, manifesting is no different from playing the piano or flipping pancakes in the air. How good you are at it depends on how efficient you have become at performing it. And, although some of us are better at certain skills that doesn't mean the rest of us, with practice, can't improve or even surpass the talent expressed by another. Those people who are efficient in attracting have trained their minds to focus on their desires. They have learned it so well that they often times don't even realize how they do it. Abundance comes to them naturally. They wouldn't blink an eye if someone suggested they don't deserve something, it isn't part of their reality.

Grasping a better understanding of how the "Law of Attraction" works is the first step in bringing abundance into your life.
Law of Attraction
We create our own reality. We attract those things in our life (money, relationships, employment) that we focus on. I wish I could tell you that it is as simple as stating an affirmation, but no affirmation is going to work if your thoughts or feelings are negating the positive.

When we focus on "having less" then we create that experience for ourselves. When we focus on "I hate my job" then we will never notice the aspects of our employment that might be satisfying. Basically, just wanting something isn't going to bring that to us when we continue to obsess on the not having of that something. All we will experience is "not having" and will be ultimately blocking our true desires.

Better to focus on a particular object or scenario rather than on winnings or cash.

Another mistake that we make is that we tend to think of abundance in terms of how much money we have in our bank accounts. I personally think focusing on winning the lottery is a fruitless event. Focusing on winning the lottery is kind of like focusing on "not having." I say this because of some discussions I've had with those who have held this desire, They have shared what they would do with the winnings if they won. Yet, some of the things they say they would do with the money they could actually already be doing with their current incomes on a smaller scale, but they don't. Why not? Because they cling to what they perceive as their "meager savings" with the attitude that they don't have enough out of fear. Here is an example of this:

A man's mother owns a car that is need of repair. The son says "If I won the lottery I would buy my mother a new car." But actually, the son has the means to take her car to the mechanics and pay out $400 needed in repairs to assure that his mom has a dependable car to drive back and forth to the market. When asked why he doesn't then just go ahead and have her current car repaired, he answers, "Well gee, I only have $800 in the bank, and doing that would knock out half my savings. What happens if my car needs repairs next week or my daughter gets sick and needs to see a doctor?"

So you see, the person's true focus is on "not enough" rather than being focused on winning the lottery. When we are focused on "not enough" it won't ever matter how much money we have, it will never be enough. Suggesting that he pay for his mother's car repairs brought his fears out into the open. It would be nice if the fellow could trust that by helping his mother and paying for the repairs he would not put himself at financial risk. But for the time being, while he feels he must hold onto that fear reality, I would suggest this man focus on visualizing his mother driving safely to and from the market in comfort and without experiencing any mechanical breakdowns. This would be a positive image/thought to get that picture to become a reality. Another suggestion would be to introduce the Law of Attraction to his mother so she can start attracting a new car for herself among other things she might desire.

The Law of Forgiveness

The Law Of Forgiveness

he forgiving state of mind is a magnetic power for attracting good.
Catherine Ponder

The law of forgiveness is the most powerful and important universal law, it states that: in order to make your life better you must begin by forgiving everyone, everything, every experience and every memory in your life that needs forgiveness.

Why? There are two reasons why you must forgive: first if you want to be forgiven you have to forgive and second, if you harbor any ill will, anger, regret or hate towards anybody you are preventing anything good and lasting from entering your life. Negativity of any kind clouds your mind, preventing it from creating the good that you deserve in you life and does serious damage to your health.

Without forgiveness, you carry around with you the seed that can create all kinds of illness in your body. The emotions tied to not forgiving include, anger, hate, guilt, doubt, worry and self-pity, these emotions do nothing for you but make you feel stressed out and eventually lead to sicknesses of different degrees.

A person hurts you so bad, you can not go through an hour in the day without thinking about that person and what they did to you. You think about it over and over and the negative emotions mount until you feel you are about to burst. How is that helping you? When you constantly think about this person or the situation, you give the whole situation more energy, you increase intensity on negativity and that is never good. To make matters worst, you will create in your life the things you continually think of. Do you want to repeat the same thing over? No!

Who do you forgive? You forgive everyone, everything and every situation you can think of that needs forgiveness. Then you forgive yourself.

What do you forgive? You forgive everything. Your wounds might be fresh and you are still very sensitive about the situation or there might be things that were so obscure the thought only occasionally pops in your head. Once you start to forgive you have to forgive everything, the process will take on a life of its own once you begin.

The Law of forgiveness has an added bonus. This is the only universal law that can neutralize the law of cause and effect (Karma). Sometimes we do not know what kind of karma debt is looming over us, so how do you know when to use the law of forgiveness to neutralize karma? You keep forgiving people and keep your conscience clear, and use an affirmation when you feel there might be a need to neutralize your karma debt or if you feel you might be a victim of third party karma.

When you forgive people that have wronged you in anyway you take away the power they have over you. They no longer control your life, your mind is free to create, you experience happiness and peace of mind.

How do you forgive?
1) First you make an agreement with yourself that you will forgive everyone, this is not a piece meal package where you chose to forgive this person and not forgive that person. You have to forgive everyone and everything you can think of or you will not get the full benefit of this law.

2) Make a list of everyone, everything, every situation, every memory you can think of, this is your master list. Getting through this list is getting you closer to achieving your goals.

3) Then you get yourself an affirmation, one that truly resonates with you, "I fully and completely forgive (name) for everything and (name) fully and completely forgives me. I release you and let you go, you are free and so am I." This one worked wonders in my life.

4) Set aside a few minutes in the morning and at night just before you go to bed get relaxed, look at your list or pick whatever situation pops in to your head and start repeating the affirmation. Every time you go through a forgiving session you feel lighter you are letting go, you are moving on, you are happy.

During the course of the day if you think about a situation that you feel you need to forgive repeat your affirmation, continue to affirm and one day you wake up and all is forgiven: You are Free.

The Law of Thinking

The Law Of Thinking

Life is a mystery only to those who don't take the time to understand it. As your knowledge and awareness grows, you will find that you are often amazed at things that happen (because the power of the Universe-inherent within you-becomes truly magnificent), but you no longer wonder why or how they happen.

Knowledge and understanding replaces fear and ignorance. The invisible becomes visible. The unknown becomes known. Once you understand the Laws, and learn to live by them, everything makes perfect sense.

The ruling mental state of a person determines personal destiny. In fact, there is no greater influence on your life than your ruling mental state. If it is optimistic, harmonious, and open to new thoughts and ideas, positive people and experiences will be drawn to you automatically. A negative state of mind will in turn draw negative people and events to you. It is indeed a Truth that "like attracts like".

Thought is an actual force or substance, even though it is invisible. Thoughts are like electricity that travels through all the "thinking stuff" [the quantum field] that makes up our entire Universe, faster than the speed of light. Thoughts are power. Power cannot act without producing an effect. Therefore, our thinking is constantly producing effects. What we hold within our minds inevitably takes its form in the outer world. If you wish to gain control over your life, you must first become the gatekeeper of your mind and think only positive thoughts of an ever-expanding nature.

There is no such thing as cold. There is only absence of heat. Likewise, there is no such thing as poverty-only the lack of abundance. Therefore, if you want to feel warmth, focus on warmth only, and the feeling of cold will disappear. If you wish to attract abundance, focus only on success and prosperity. Then your experience of poverty will no longer be able to survive.

The mind creates seeds, good or bad, that are planted in the soil of the quantum field. Much like in a garden, if you plant things and water them, they will thrive. Your negative thoughts are like the weeds which you must not nourish, so that they will naturally wither away. Pull the weeds so they don't choke out the good plants. Weeds will die from lack of cultivation, and negative thoughts will disappear as you foster positive ones.

Replace fear with courage. Replace disease with a healthy thought. Replace thoughts of limitation with thoughts of plenty. Whatever we put energy into grows. Whatever we believe, becomes. Whatever we expect, happens.

If your thoughts are chaotic and disorganized, your life will reflect that, resulting in pain and confusion. Heaven is a state of mind-an orderly, disciplined, constructive state of thinking. In order to live in a state of grace, you must have an orderly mind. The average person thinks at random, with thoughts that wander all over the place, moment by moment. The average mind has control over the person, but it should be the other way around. It takes practice and discipline to be able to create order, but the reward is well worth the effort.

Imagine a mind that is peaceful in every moment, joyful at every glance out the window, confident that it is consciously creating exactly what you desire. We all create our reality in every moment, but most people are doing it unconsciously. With some effort on your part, you can learn to do this with the utmost of clarity and precision, so that you can attract experiences and people you desire to have in your midst.

Nature operates under precise and immutable laws, such as the law of gravity. Thoughts are governed by laws with the same exactness as the law of gravity. It is wise to embrace Nature's example, by living within the Laws. Your mind is the source and cause of all circumstances in your life. Therefore, by adjusting your thinking, and disciplining your mind, your circumstances will stabilize and improve over time.

Thought must be accompanied by action. If you want to climb to the top of a hill, you don't just sit at the bottom and pray. At the end of the day, you will probably find you are still sitting there (unless you have mastered the act of teleportation, that is). In order to climb that hill, first you must decide to do so. Then you take a step, and another, and another. You may fall back a few steps, or take a wrong turn, but you continue climbing until you reach the top.

By taking these steps (taking action), you will find that along the way, you have a hand up here and there given by an unseen force. You will meet people that have water to give you, and others who show you a short cut. You may find a walking stick that helps you when you become tired. These are all indications that the Universe is doing its part to help you along your journey. However, it all starts with that first step (taking action).

Every day, make sure you plan and do something definite that will help you reach your goal. Start with a well defined objective, think continuously about it, plan your time, and work towards the goal. If your day is full of constructive duties, you will find that there is no room for waste or negativity. And eventually, you will reach the crest of the hill.

The Law of Increase

The Law Of Increase

The Law of Increase is essentially about expressing your gratitude for what you have. When you do this you are in resonance with the things you appreciate and desire in your life and so you receive more of the same.

The problem is too many people are complaining about what they do not have in life. When you do this you resonate with what you lack and you get more of the same. The Law of Increase works every time.

One of the complaints about the hit movie "The Secret" was that it only focused on money and material things. The interesting thing is that this is not the case. "The Secret" also dealt with other key aspects of our lives such as health and relationships.

However, many people want more money and so when they watched the movie that is what their attention was drawn to. Then when they were unable to manifest the money they desired the movie became like sour grapes and they rejected the underlying message of the movie.

However, you cannot escape the fact that to live life of a high standard you need to have money - lots of it.

I recently read about a businessman who has titanium business cards. You may be asking: "Why would anyone make business cards from titanium? Isn't that expensive?" Yes, it sure is but he can afford it.

Isn't it great to be so rich you can splurge on something like business cards and really create a lasting impression? You may also be thinking, "What a waste of money!" But surely this man has earned the right to spend the money as he pleases. It may be somewhat ostentatious but it isn't immoral or unethical.

What if your thoughts ran more along these lines?

"Titanium business cards? What a novel idea!"

You would be in a totally different state emotionally than if you resented this business man. You would probably be excited about the prospect of having an abundance of money yourself and the good things you'd be able to do with it.

You see many people would love to have more money in their lives but their resentment literally disconnects them from what they desire. If you feel resentment against people who are rich try feeling happy for them instead.

Think about it. Their achievements demonstrate that it is possible for an individual to become rich. In many cases, these individuals have very humble origins. Some grew up in abject poverty. So if they can become rich against such odds so can you. Celebrate their achievements so that you may celebrate your own.

Sadly, many people often struggle to find anything to be grateful for but the mere fact that you are alive is both a miracle and a blessing. There are numerous things you can express your gratitude each and everyday.

Remember the Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" - the story of old Ebenezer Scrooge. He had money but he was not wealthy. He led a miserable miserly existence until the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future showed him where he had come from, what he had become and what he had to look forward to.

After that revelation it wasn't just that he became more generous. He was more grateful for life itself and he expressed his new-found joy and gratitude for his life through his generosity. And the Law of Increase duly rewarded. After all those years of hoarding his money, the more Ebenezer Scrooge gave the more his business flourished and the more joy he experienced with those close to him.

Instead of being just rich he became wealthy too.

"Whatever we are waiting for - peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance - it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart."
Sarah Ban Breathnach, author of "Simple Abundance"

The Law of Compensation

The Law Of Compensation

There is no dispensation from the Law of Compensation

What do I mean by saying there is no dispensation from the Law of Compensation? I first need to explain the meaning of COMPENSATION. I'm not using it to mean 'salary' or 'benefit package,' but to mean 'what constitutes, or is regarded as, an equivalent; what makes good the lack or variation of something else; what COMPENSATES for loss or privation; amends or recompense.

This is how the English Metaphysical poet Francis Quarles (1592 ~ 1644) describes compensation: "As there is no worldly gain without some loss, so there is no worldly loss without some gain. If thou hast lost thy wealth, thou hast lost some trouble with it. If thou art degraded from thy honor, thou art likewise freed from the stroke of envy. If sickness hast blurred thy beauty, it hath delivered thee from pride. Set the allowance against the loss and thou shalt find no loss great."

In modern terms, we could say one man is rich but bored and another is poor, yet happy. One woman achieves great success but dies young; another is less successful but lives longer. Or, a rich man can afford steak and lobster but finds it hard to digest while a poor man has a hearty appetite and good health. Or, someone else may have a large salary, but little time to spend with their family.

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 ~ 1882) explains compensation in clear terms: "For everything you have missed, you have gained something else; and for everything you gain, you lose something else." Again, in his journal dated January 8, 1826, he writes, "The whole of what we know is a system of compensations. Every defect in one manner is made up in another. Every suffering is rewarded; every sacrifice is made up; every debt is paid."

The title of this article, then, means there is no exemption, no exception, or no escape from this law of life. We cannot have successes without failures or hardships without gains. For every gain, there is a loss. We lose the wood to gain fire and heat. We lose the heat to cook the food. We lose the food to nourish our body, and so it goes. This law of nature is about balance, harmony, and equilibrium. It is similar to the Law of Conservation of Energy in science. (Energy may neither be created nor destroyed and the sum of all energy remains constant.)

Another aspect of the Law of Compensation is we will reap what we sow. Isn't it true that if I plant tomatoes, I'll reap tomatoes, and if I plant weeds, I'll reap weeds? So, it should come as no surprise that if I plant seeds of love, I will be loved, and if I plant acts of kindness, others will treat me kindly. But if all I sow is anger, all I reap will be hostility. When we practice the Golden Rule by treating our neighbors as we wish to be treated, we live in harmony with this principle and will reap its benefits. Or, as Ralph Waldo Emerson put it, "It is one of the most beautiful compensations in life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself."

Another term to describe reaping what we sow is 'karma.' In Sanskrit, karma means action or deed. In the spiritual sense, it means both our actions and the consequences that flow from them. Those who believe in karma believe that their fate is governed by the choices they make. The happiness they experience or the suffering they undergo is a result of how they use their free will. So, it's just another way to describe how we reap what we sow.

Yet another term used to describe the same thing is The Law of Action and Reaction. That is, for every force, there is a counter force. The greater we stretch a rubber band, the greater its snapback. The more I scowl at you, the angrier you will become; the more you smile at me, the more pleased I will become. We could also express this idea by calling it the Law of Cause and Effect, or just by saying that virtue is its own reward and wrongdoing causes suffering.

The Law of Compensation, or sowing what we reap, is not about God punishing the wicked and rewarding the holy, but simply His law of natural consequences. If we fall into a fire, we are burned not because we're evil, but because of the heat of the flames. So, it is wise to become familiar with the laws of nature to avoid unnecessary pain and unhappiness.

Once we understand for every gain there is a loss, we can free ourselves from envy and live contentedly. Blessed are the contented, for they are never poor. Woe unto the discontented, for they are never rich. Blessed is she who has little and wants less, for she is richer than he who has much and wants more. Blessed, too, is he who realizes that a little is a great deal when it is enough. And, as Socrates (469 ~ 399 BC) taught, "He is the richest who is content with the least."

There is a time for contentment and a time for discontentment. When we use discontent to raise ourselves to a higher level, we are living in line with the Law of Compensation. For at such a time, we realize that there is no gain without loss, or no gain without pain. We understand that our success depends not on what we take up, but what we give up. So, we willingly sacrifice time and comfort to reach our goal. And if we experience a temporary setback, we're not discouraged because we understand that hidden in our problems are blessings waiting to be discovered. In the same way, when we are pounded by adversity, we find solace in the Law of Compensation, looking forward to the benefits that await us.

Also, we don't make the mistake of comparing our lives with those of others. For although their gains are clearly visible, their loses are hidden from view. Neither do we allow our imagination to exaggerate the extent of our losses or others' gains. We also keep our balance by remembering that all is relative. After all, bad is never good, until worse happens.

The Law of Gratitude

The Law Of Gratitude

What would your day be like if you started and ended it by simply noticing all that you have in your life?

If you count all your assets, you always show a profit. Gratitude is a natural high. When you live in tandem with your spirit, appreciating all of life and what you have, you discover more joy and kindness in the world. Miracles happen everywhere all the time, but only those with an "Attitude of Gratitude" seem to notice them.

This circle of peace grows and you return to your natural state of joy, love and peace, knowing you are whole and complete just as you are.

"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others." ~ Cicero The following is a list of the top ten reasons to adopt the Law of Gratitude in your life: One. Being in Gratitude Only Has Positive Side Effects. Positive emotions make you feel good and offer a sense of comfort. When we take a few moments to express our appreciation inwardly or to another, immediately we begin to feel happier, more relaxed, more optimistic.

Two. Feelings of Gratitude Provide Short-Cuts to Miracles. Negative thoughts and feelings create an interruption in the natural flow of life. When you are feeling positive and grateful you accelerate what it is that you desire. Consciously appreciating what you already have is the short-cut to manifestation and the secret to personal fulfillment.

Three. Thoughts of Gratitude Flood Your Body with Immune-Boosting Endorphins. Studies also provide evidence that a positive, appreciative attitude enhances the body's healing system and general health.

When you hold feelings of thankfulness for at least 15 to 20 seconds, beneficial physiological changes take place in your body. Levels of the stress hormones cortisol and norepinephrine decrease, producing a cascade of beneficial metabolic changes. Coronary arteries relax, thus increasing the blood supply to your heart. And your breathing becomes deeper, raising the oxygen level of your tissues.

Four. Feeling Grateful Puts you Back into the 'Flow of Life' at the Speed of Thought. Thoughts create things. If you are feeling and thinking positive thoughts, you create positive situations. You draw positive people to you. Like attracts like.

Five. Gratitude Unlocks the Fullness of Life Feelings of gratitude turn what you have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast or a house into a home. Gratitude makes sense of your past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Six. Feelings of Gratitude Give You a 'Natural High'. Grateful people tend to be more optimistic, a characteristic that researchers say boosts the immune system. Studies indicate that daily gratitude exercises result in higher reported levels of alertness, enthusiasm, determination, optimism and energy. Grateful people experience less depression and stress, are more likely to help others, exercise regularly and tend to make more progress toward personal goals.

People who feel grateful are also more likely to feel loved. Seven. Gratitude Provides an Immediate Sense of Well-Being. Gratitude, it turns out, can help us better manage stress. Gratitude research is beginning to suggest that feelings of thankfulness have tremendous positive value in helping people cope with daily problems, especially stress.

Eight. Feeling Grateful is the Main Cause of 'Sustained Joy'. Focusing on the gifts one has been given is an antidote to envy, resentment, regret and other negative states that undermine long-term happiness. Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.

Nine. The More You Give -- The More You Receive. You always get more of whatever you appreciate. When you express LOVE, GRATITUDE, and SINCERE APPRECIATION, you naturally expand. Consciously appreciating what you already have is the short-cut to manifestation and the secret to personal fulfillment.

The more you assist others, the more you will assist yourself. Ten. When You Are Genuinely Thankful Anger and Fear Disappear. One of the incredible truths about gratitude is that it is impossible to feel both the positive emotion of thankfulness and a negative emotion such as anger or fear at the same time.

To Practice This Thought: Be lavish in your gratefulness.

Make gratitude a daily ritual.

Be thankful for whatever forces you to deal with your own strong emotions.

Set aside an hour or two to do nothing much except be grateful.

Focus on what is working in your life and what IS right in the world. It doesn't matter how small or seemingly insignificant it may be. Before long you will notice that more things will fall into place with little or no effort on your part. Gratitude is a wonderful tool to use to feel good fast.

The Law of Receiving

The Law Of Receiving

The law of circulation states that all things in the universe is always flowing in circulation but at an ever expanding rate. What you give to one person, you will receive from a different source. So you don't have to give with the expectation of receiving back from the same person you give to, but knowing that it will definitely come back to you multiplied from other sources. It works according to the law of cause and effect where the universe always mirrors back to you whatever you do.

It's important to notice how you respond to compliments especially when they are sincere and valid. Do you downplay it, decline it or ignore it? Do you say something like "Oh it's nothing." The reason why you do not accept other people's compliments about you is because you do not accept them about yourself. Learn to have complete self acceptance so that you can look others in the eye and say "Thank you." The reason why it is important to accept compliments is that it allows the other person to give something to us.

Do not refuse anything good that is offered to you. If someone offers you a gift, take the gift and just say, "Thank You." If you are in a restaurant and someone wants to pay the bill, don't argue. Just say, "Thank you" and allow them to give to you. Give up your beliefs about accepting gifts from others. Forget about feeling vulnerable or owing them something. Don't decline it because you do not want to be affected by the law of reciprocity.

This universal law tells us that when we resist a condition, person, or thing that we don't like or want, we are adding power to it.

This is usually opposite of what we think our resistance is doing. We think by resisting something that it will go away or leave us alone. Resistance keeps us stuck. Non-resistance allows us to go free.

Resistance can come up quickly once we have gotten clear about our heart's desire and have started engaging with the Law of Attraction.

As many of us have experienced directly, the universe is constantly conspiring with us to bring every resource, person, or thing to us that will create the desires of our heart.

But when we resist people, situations, or things, then this energy (which emanates from our minds) slows and blocks that flow. It's as if we are in a river, headed along the way. We get scared for whatever reason, and grab on to some rocks. If we are holding on tightly, we will never move.

When you are feeling resistant, you are literally stopping the flow and interrupting all of the good that the universe is sending your way.

Try this exercise. Using these steps will help you let go and let the flow of the universe be restored:

When you become aware of any resistance to a person, thing, or situation, try to feel the resistance and see if you can identify it somewhere in your body or in your emotions. Once you become aware of the feeling, ask yourself the following questions:

1. "Can I accept this person, thing, or situation that I am resisting exactly as it is?"

2. "Can I forgive this person, thing, or situation for not being what I wanted it to be? Can I forgive myself for wanting this person, thing, or situation to be what I wanted it to be?"

3. "What is the reason I am resisting this person, thing, or situation? (What do I think will happen if I don't?) Is this true right now?"

4. "Will this reason for resisting be true forever? (Think about how long forever is)."

When I do this exercise, I identify how I feel initially so I know when I have released my resistance. I know that I am not resisting once I the feeling I first identified is lighter or is gone.

Usually, the resistance releases with the first question. But sometimes, I'm holding on for such "good reasons" that I have to go all the way through the process (and even repeat it), before I'm willing to let go.

This is a great exercise to do with a trusted friend. You can take turns identifying resistance and then walking each other through the steps.

Finally, this works best when you are willing to feel all the emotions that may come up. Resistance is almost always emotionally-driven.

And, of course, if you feel overwhelmed emotionally, please seek the assistance of a licensed mental health practitioner.

The Law of Sacrifice

The Law Of Sacrifice

The Law of Sacrifice says that "you have to give up something in order to get something".

The cool thing about this law is that it's not automatically attractive. It makes you think.

The Law of Focus isn't like that. When people hear about the Law of Focus, the first reaction is to say, "Yes, yes, focus is good." People seem to forget that the word "focus" implies a decision about what you are not going to do. With the word "sacrifice", that particular implication is much clearer.

But in some sense, these two laws are the same idea with different expressions. There is power in focus, but to get there, we have to make tough decisions about what things we will not do.

Aiming once again at Scotts Valley

I'll give Sun a break today and go back to picking on Borland. Here is a perfect example of a company that can't focus because they're not willing to sacrifice. Their product line is all over the map.

The problem with not having a focus is that your customers can only describe you in terms of your past. Borland's "Excellence Endures" tagline even reinforces this. It's a fine tagline, but it doesn't say much to me about the future. It is a celebration of their 20 years of history.

Borland is a fine company with some great products. But they should be telling us more about their future than their past. In the next five years, what one thing will Borland do better than anybody else?

(To be fair, however, we should admit that Borland's marketing may not matter much. Microsoft needs Borland (and Apple, and Sun) to exist in order to give the illusion that their products have competition. In this case, Excellence will continue to Endure, but Mediocrity would suffice, since Microsoft will always stop a little bit short of killing them off.)

Saying "No"

The Law of Sacrifice is all about saying "no" to opportunities. This skill is incredibly difficult to learn. I suspect that the only way to learn to say "no" is to experience the pain of saying "yes" too often.

That's how I learned it. SourceGear used to be all over the map. We smiled and described that condition with a positive spin, telling ourselves that we were "opportunistic". But life inside the company got pretty confusing. We had several product efforts going on, all unrelated. We had a consulting division doing engagements which were not related to any of our products. When someone asked us "What does SourceGear do?" it would take ten minutes to explain. By the time we were done, the elevator had gone back and forth to the lobby three times.

Our revenue was high, but we had no focus. We were in a strategy which was positive in the short-term and negative in the long-term. So we sacrificed. We started saying "no".

At first, it was really hard. People called us for a consulting gig and we turned it down. Even as I write this, it sounds crazy. I said "no" to money! What was I thinking?

It took a while, but things got better. A lot better. Today, SourceGear is a focused company, but to get to this point, we had to stop saying "yes" to every opportunity we saw.

The Law of Obedience

The Law Of Obedience

There is only One Law of Life, and that is Love. The Self-Conscious, thinking individual who will not or does not obey that Eternal, Beneficent Decree cannot and will not retain the physical body, because all that is not love dissolves form; and it matters not whether it be thought, word, feeling or deed - intentional or unintentional - the Law acts regardless.

If man knew that he never ceases creating even for an instant, he would realize through the Presence of God within himself, he could purify his miscreations and thus be free from his own limitations.

Whoever makes himself willingly obedient unto the Law of Love has Perfection in his mind and world permanently maintained. Unto him and him alone does All Authority and Mastery belong. He only has the right to rule, because he has first learned to obey. When he has obtained obedience from the atomic structure within his own mind and body, all atomic structure outside of his mind and body will obey him also.

The Great Cosmic Law does not discriminate any more than does the multiplication table if one makes a mistake in its application, or electricity when one who is ignorant of the Law governing its use tries to direct its force without knowledge of the way to control it.

The Great Immutable Decrees which forever keep order in the Infinite Realm of manifested Life are all based upon the One Great Principle of Creation - LOVE. This is the Heart, the Source of All, and the very Hub upon which existence in form takes place. Love is the cohesive Power of the Universe, and without it a Universe could not be.

The Law of Success

The Law Of Success

There seem to be many "laws of success" so here is a site which I think will be helpful for this law

Welcome to the conclusion of this special three part series commemorating the 21st Century Edition of Napoleon Hill's landmark work, "Law of Success," which reveals 17 Principles of Success that can help take your career and life to the next level. These are proven principles based on Hill's 25 years of research personally studying the lives of over 500 of the world's greatest achievers.

Law of Success Part I and Part II covered the first 11 of these principles. (To read Part I and Part II, visit: http://tinyurl.com/3d3loq). Law of Success Part III will now conclude with the remaining 6 of these valuable, time-tested principles which can help you succeed in all areas of your life. Enjoy:

Principle # 12: Concentration

"Concentration is the act of focusing the mind on a given desire until ways and means for its realization have been worked out and successfully put into operation." - Napoleon Hill

In this age of mass communications, we are beginning to face a global epidemic of mass distraction that is becoming dangerous - and in some cases lethal. (The rising pedestrian and motor vehicle driver deaths due to the host of electronic distractions is just one sad example).

The Weapons of Mass Distraction available to us are just overwhelming: email, cell phones, pagers, text messaging, video games, GPS navigational systems, video games, DVD players, TV, web cams, blackberries, faxes, ipods, and the explosion of social networking sites, just to name a few. (When used intelligently these tools can be powerful, but when used ineffectively, they become what I call, "Weapons of Mass Distraction!"

For concentration to be effective, Hill maintains that it is vitally important to keep your mind focused on ONE subject until you've mastered it; to focus on ONE given problem until you've solved that problem.

What I find helps is starting a task with a burst of energy and enthusiasm which will provide the momentum to complete the task successfully. Just watch Olympic sprinters at the start of a race and you'll know what I mean.

Finally, in this age of sensory overload, some sensory deprivation might be in order. Hill recommends that you set some time everyday where you can enter a quiet place, close your eyes, and put your fingers in your ears, blocking all light and sound, and just repeat your chief aim and see yourself in full possession of the object of your aim.

Just practicing this simple technique everyday will help you concentrate on doing the important tasks that will eventually lead to a quantum breakthrough in your life.

Principle # 13: Cooperation

"Cooperation is the foundation of all successful leadership." - Napoleon Hill

According to Hill, there are two forms of cooperation: 1). The cooperation between a group alliance Master Mind (which was covered in my Law of Success Part I overview) to achieve a desired end, and 2). The cooperation between the conscious and subconscious minds to draw upon creative intelligence (a theme that continues throughout this overview).

Power is developed through organized effort. And for any organized effort to be successful, the harmonious cooperation of people focused on a singular purpose is required.

Harmony is the key. And it would serve you well to study the main personality types of people before forming a team so you can bring together people who compliment each other rather than compete with each other. ("What Type Am I" by Renee Baron is a good first book to understanding personality types).

One thing in the "Law of Success" that really struck me as very powerful was an important observation that Napoleon Hill made: "A great leader is one who understands how to create a "motivating objective" that will be accepted with enthusiasm by every member of [the] group...Most people will work harder for the attainment of an ideal than they will for money."

What is your company's or team's "motivating objective" or ideal? Figure that one out and the wings of cooperation will carry you and your team members to new heights!

Principle # 14: Profiting by Failure

"If you want to increase your success rate, double your failure rate." -Thomas Watson, Sr. Founder of IBM

Profiting from failure is an overdone topic in the field of personal development so I won't spend too much time on this principle. It's overdone for the very reason that there's much truth in the idea of people reaching higher levels of success by persevering and learning from failure instead of quitting. It's no accident that John D. Rockefeller felt that perseverance is the single most important quality to achieving success.

I've observed over the years that success comes to leaders in almost direct proportion to the amount of adversity and failures they've overcome and learned from in life.

That old cliché, 'if at first you don't succeed, try, try again' applies here. Of course, I'm not saying you necessarily keep on doing the same thing expecting the same results (another definition for insanity).

Seek counselors and mentors that you can trust to help evaluate the effectiveness of your plans. Explore the reasons that are limiting your success by asking them how they see you limiting yourself.

If your first plan to achieving your chief aim in life does not succeed, than change it! And keep on changing it until you've reached your target, just as an airplane makes thousands of adjustments and flight corrections before reaching its destination.

Principle # 15: Tolerance

"Minds are like parachutes; they work best when open."
- Lord Thomas Dewar

If we adopt a closed mind we stop acquiring knowledge. And natural law states that we are either growing or dying.

I don't like the word 'tolerance.' I much rather prefer mbracing new ideas and having an insatiable curiosity for learning other people's customs, belief systems, and unique perspectives. I look at it as an adventure!

Finding ways to harness cultural differences within teams and organizations will be the new currency in an increasingly globalized economy.

Principle # 16: The Golden Rule

Napoleon Hill recognized that the frivolous use of power from the knowledge that is being shared with you will only backfire and be destructive to self and others. Selfish pursuit of your chief aim without regard for others will eventually come back to haunt you.

We reap what we sow. What goes around comes around. Therefore, the Golden Rule is: do unto others as you'd have done unto you. Before doing anything, ask yourself if it will benefit or hurt the person involved.

It's easy to be self-centered. To transcend self, think more of what the other person wants and feels before acting.

See the good in others. Catch people doing things right instead of always looking for the wrong. Kindness and justice toward others goes a long way in establishing successful business and personal relationships. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: "Trust men and they will be true to you; treat them greatly, and they will show themselves great."

Hill takes us deeper with the Golden Rule philosophy when he said, "think of others as you'd wish them to think of you." Live this philosophy and your life will be enriched in many unforeseen ways.

Principle # 17: The Universal Law of Cosmic Habitforce

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

The Universal Law of Cosmic Habitforce is that intangible, unseen force which is made tangible and visible in nature.
Just observe nature and you will experience Cosmic Habitforce in action.

When you fix in your mind a purpose consciousness focused on your chief aim in life through repetition of thoughts and deeds, Cosmic Habitforce will take over and carry it to its logical conclusion, just as an acorn seed will always produce an oak tree through proper care and nurturing.

It takes constant vigilance, determination, and willpower to maintain that purpose consciousness, but eventually Cosmic Habitforce will always bear fruit and your life will be richly rewarded.

In closing, I'd like to point out that at the beginning of every chapter in Napoleon Hill's "Law of Success" are the words: "You can do it if you believe you can!"

It's that simple. I'm not saying it's easy, but it really is that simple. Mahatma Gandhi once said, "If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn't have it in the beginning."

Believe in yourself! Believe you can do it and move forward this day with faith and confidence. Many blessings to you along your journey.

I hope that you've benefited from reading this series and I'd like to encourage you to share these important principles with your friends, family, and associates. I'd also like to highly recommend getting a copy of Napoleon Hill's "Law of Success: 21st Century Edition" to add to your personal library.

It's a life-changing book, and I mean that as no exaggeration. To get your copy, visit: http://tinyurl.com/2a2cuk

By the way, I like your line of thinking as well. Just as I believe in God, I believe that "he" or "it" is different for everyone, based on our lives and experiences. I believe that Buddah is the same God that I worship, only interpreted differently. This happens because of who we are, our culture and where we live in this world. I also believe that economic status plays a role in how we see or worship God. We are all different and all have something to contribute. It's like that saying, "no one is great at everything, but everyone is great at something"! You and I could be at the exact same place at the same time doing the same thing, but interpret what we did or saw, in two different ways. Each of us having something different to contribute. What if we did all think the same? What great lesson is there in that? How monotonous would that be? BORING! That's not a world I'd enjoy.

I believe that God is in control of our lives. I've set certain goals, some of them I've reached, others not so much. If the road you are on isn't the right one, God provides the correct road, it's up to you to take it though. Those of us that have ignored the signs from God directing us where to go have sure had a time of it. It's only when you open your eyes to his love that you can follow the correct path.
With that said, YES, I believe that happiness is a choice. God gave us free will and if you choose to go against him and his will, then you are choosing a life of unhappiness. Now, I'm not saying that every Christian lives a happy life, that isn't always the case. When times are tough for a Christian we have comfort in Gods word and his will. We know that this too shall pass. It always does, as he said it would.
We can change the world. The problem is that people don't think that their act of kindness will make a difference, so they don't try. 1 act X everyone? U do the math!

No matter what you think is right or wrong you are absolutely correct. But then again so is the guy who thinks the exact opposite of you. How is this possible? Each of us live in a unique world of our own created by our individual experiences and our actions and reactions to those experiences. Therefore, no two people see the world exactly the same. Your truth is THE truth for you because that is how you have experienced the world and so you have seen the world through your own personal lens and the guy who believes you are completely incorrect and the world is totally opposite of what you believe is also correct because he has experienced a different world which he has seen through his own personal lens. The big question is... when we have seen a world or a situation in the world we do not like... can we really change it? What do you think?

How about a cozy evening at home with an inspirational movie.

Relax and enjoy an uplifting show with Netflix Movies

Laugh, love, relax, or get inspired with a great movie in the convenience and comfort of home with a Netflix Movie tonight.

001- Facing the Giants

This inspirational drama from award-winning producers Alex and Stephen Kendrick combines faith and football in the tale of high school coach Grant Taylor (Alex Kendrick), who rises above failure to create a winning spirit on the field. Taylor faces a losing team, a failing marriage and the possibility of being fired. At the end of his rope, he puts his life in God's hands and, in doing so, finds a stronger purpose and, ultimately, salvation.
002- Conversations with God

Based on the best-selling autobiographical series by Neale Donald Walsch, this film traces the author's journey from an ever-struggling, hopeless shell of a man to a world-renowned author and spiritual messenger. Lonely, broke and uninspired, Walsch finds himself asking the heavens for answers to his problems. When he begins to hear responses from the God within himself, these answers change his life and become the basis for his first book.
003- Jeremiah: The Bible

Jeremiah tells the story of the prophet who abandons his family, and also the woman he loves, in order to relay God's message in Jerusalem. Although his warning about the destruction of the Holy City results in him being branded as a traitor and persecuted, he continues fearlessly with his mission. His prophecy comes true and he is forced to experience first hand how Jerusalem is destroyed by the Babylonians and how the inhabitants are taken as prisoners to Babylon.
004- Solomon: The Bible

King Solomon's ascent -- from mama's boy to a sovereign famous for his wisdom and international coalitions -- is recounted in this two-part, made-for-TV movie. Part 1 depicts the rivalry between Solomon (Ben Cross) and his half-brother, while Part 2 explores the notion that Solomon and the Queen of Sheba (Vivica A. Fox) shared more than just a political partnership. The script interleaves background information to provide a historical framework.
005- God and Buddha: A Dialogue

In this fascinating and unusual conversation, writer and physician Deepak Chopra talks to religion professor Robert Thurman about the connections and differences between two of India's most important philosophical beliefs: Vedanta and Buddhism. Chopra explores the foundation of Vedanta, while Thurman provides the Buddhist point of view in this meeting held in 1999 at New York City's Tibet House.

ACourse In Miracles

A Course In Miracles
What It Is

As its title implies, the Course is arranged throughout as a teaching device. It consists of three books: a 622-page Text, a 478-page Workbook for Students, and an 88-page Manual for Teachers. The order in which students choose to use the books, and the ways in which they study them, depend on their particular needs and preferences.

The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is explained, step by step, at both the theoretical and practical levels. It emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather than theology. It specifically states that "a universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary." (Manual, p. 77) Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end.

The Text is largely theoretical, and sets forth the concepts on which the Course's thought system is based. Its ideas contain the foundation for the Workbook's lessons. Without the practical application the Workbook provides, the Text would remain largely a series of abstractions which would hardly suffice to bring about the thought reversal at which the Course aims.

The Workbook includes 365 lessons, one for each day of the year. It is not necessary, however, to do the lessons at that tempo, and one might want to remain with a particularly appealing lesson for more than one day. The instructions urge only that not more than one lesson a day should be attempted. The practical nature of the Workbook is underscored by the introduction to its lessons, which emphasizes experience through application rather than a prior commitment to a spiritual goal:

Today Is A Blend Of Morning Affirmations Mixed by Tammylove

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!!

In this moment of now I realize . . .
I admit . . .
And I remember . . .
that . . .
MY LIFE IS . . .
THE RESULT..
of my thoughts, my beliefs, my words, and my actions.
I choose to change my life as of this moment for the better by choosing to change my thoughts, my beliefs, my words, and my actions in order to be the very best me I can possibly be each and every moment.

The past in gone, the future has not arrived.

The only thing I have any control over is this moment, and each new moment is a new chance for me to change.

Therefore, I understand that I create myself anew in each and every moment, and I choose every moment to create the next grandest version of the greatest version I ever held about WHO I REALLY AM!!!

And in this moment of now I realize that my life is perfect!

My life is exactly the way I need it to be to get me to where I really want to go!!!

I choose to give today to my higher power, to guide me, and to bridge the gap between myself and my highest visions.

Today I let my higher power look upon all people, including myself, all places, each experience, and every thing for me . . . And judge them not, but give each one a miracle of love instead!!!

Today, I gratefully accept all of the good things and experiences that have already sent my way!!!

Today, has already been filled with excitement, happiness, love, joy, energy, health, prosperity and abundance!!!

It is easy to be happy, It is easy to be healthy, It is easy to be loved, It is easy to be and wealthy!!!

Today everyone who crosses my path is a complete joy to me, and I am a complete joy to them!!!

Today, everyone who crosses my path has great respect for me, and I have great respect for them!!!

Today, I spend in total enjoyment of what I do, each and every moment!!!

Today is filled with loving thoughts and actions towards myself and all other people!!! Today I spend in grateful appreciation of all that is mine!!!

Today, I thankfully accept the abundance and prosperity that is mine and I happily share it with others!!!

My world is abundant!!!

I expect abundance and success; therefore, I have abundance and success!!!

I have an abundance of opportunities to serve others by sharing my love, my wisdom, and my experiences!!!

Everywhere I turn, there are people there to do me good!!!

My calendar is always full of profitable, fun, and exciting opportunities!!!

And I make use of every opportunity sent my way in such a manner that it will benefit me in my highest good as well as benefit everyone else concerned for their highest good!!!

I seize every opportunity sent my way with great ease!!!

I speak words of love and wisdom, which are appropriate for the person I am speaking with, at the time I am speaking with them!!!

I give freely and lovingly of all that I have!!!

I have excellent relationships with everyone in my life.

I am always appreciative, thankful, and grateful for everyone and everything in my life,

and I am appreciated, by everyone who touches my life.

Everyone who touches my life appreciates me and is thankful and grateful that I am a part of their life.

Life is easy!!! Life is a wonderful, joyous, experience!!!

I am a winner!!!

I'm a winner, I'm a winner, I'm a winner!!!

Universal Laws
with Jasmuheen Excerpt from "In Resonance"

1. Law of Oneness - Everything is interconnected and shares the same Source. Also known as the Law of Energy. Excerpt from the 'Vision of Ramala' - "It is a wise soul who recognizes that all Humanity is indeed part of the one great whole, that every human being can be considered as an individual cell in the cosmic brain of your Creator. There is, truly, no separation except where Humanity chooses to live it. "So one of the great lessons of physical life is to rise above this apparent separation, to see that it is 'apparent' and to learn that you are truly one with your Creator, not just in your physical, but also in your spiritual Being "There is no separation in this physical world between you and your God. This world is your
God. Your God is this world. You are living in and are an actual part of your God just as an aspect of your God is living in and is an actual part of you So the greater is to be found within the smaller, which is contained within the greater".
2. Law of Fulfillment - The following quotes and references are from the book 'Ye Are Gods' by Annalee Skarin. "There is a Law irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of the earth, upon which all blessings are predicated and if we obtain any blessings from God, it is by obedience to that Law" This law is also known as the Law of Production or the Law of Creation. As you sow so shall
you reap. Plant the seed and bring in the harvest. Every thought has the power to create reality and as you judge so shall you be judged This law of fulfillment deals with the power of thoughts and words where thoughts are seeds and when coupled with emotion, produces a living vibration that will bring forth each after its kind Desire is the heat that generates the seed and gives it power to manifest - the power of creation. The law is trueand eternal, no matter what we desires if we plant the seeds (thoughts) and keep out the weeds (doubt and fear) it will come forth. "When we prepare our minds, without fears and without worries for greater things, greater things will be given The power to govern our surroundings and to build perfectly is in our hands. It is the power of thought, which is the power of Godhood."
3. Law of Cause and Effect - Also known as Karma, this Law assures a rebalance of energy in the cosmic energy pool, where for every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction. This Law applies to the actions of all Beings Karma has often been seen as a judgment: that whatever you give out you'll get back as if you will be punished. However it has simply to do with the exchange of
energy: whatever energy is released (sent out) by a being, will attract like particles and rebound back.Energy expands and contracts, so if energy of a negative nature is emitted, then it will contract back to its transmission source in response to its original expansion, and bring negativity with it Same is true of positive energy
4. Law of Change and Transmutation - Every condition can be transmuted and everything is always changing. The only consistent thing in the Universe is the indestructibility of energy and its changing form. This is also known as the Law of Alchemy - every condition in life can be transmuted into glory and made divinely beautiful, no matter what that condition is. If we accept it, bless it, thank God for it
or be "thankful in all things", we can transmute even bitter and heart-breaking experiences and conditions of life into spiritual loveliness by this most perfect and exacting Law. We can also receive the power to transmute our spiritual desires and dreams into tangible material manifestation This law never fails and includes the spiritual law of change and transmutation as well as material laws and elements This alchemy is the power of God in action and is eternal and unchanging
and brings exact results. Annalee Skarin says "The Law of Spiritual Chemistry is the law transmuting all conditions , all vibrations, all darkness into beauty and music and light. One must learn to speak the language of the Angels, or speak with 'new tongues' He must learn to speak from the soul and never from the lips or
even the mind He who speaks from the lips chatters. He who speaks from an empty mind adds confusion to discord. He who speaks from a full mind feeds the minds of men. He who speaks from his heart wins confidence of mankind But he who speaks from his soul heals the heartbreaks of the world and feeds the hungry, starving souls of man He can dry the tears of anguish and pain. He can bring
Light for he will carry Light The language of the soul is 'sacred' language and most beautiful...It can only bring a benediction of glory, for it is the language of the eternal spheres and the language of Gods It is the gift of the Spirit known as the 'new tongues'.....The p_ower of transmutation is the power to contact the centre of the soul through the heart. This method alone holds the power of fulfillment and
perfection"
5. Law of Balance - The integration of polarities The term 'polarity' means opposing forces with no competition between them. The forces collectively move towards a harmonized objective, resulting in growth. Duality is opposing forces of energy which have taken on a personality and have therefore become competitive, playing one against the other through judgment and competition, and thereby
creating the ego as part of the incarnated personality We live on a plane of duality and need to exercise the Law of Balance to create a polarity of male/female, positive/ negative energies to achieve harmony and integration The Law of Balance when integrated into our Being is one of the first steps to enlightenment.
6. Law of Manifestation - Allows us to manifest our desires and needs when the intention is for the highest good of not just yourself but also others Decide what you want, state it clearly, let it go and assume it is done Do not doubt! Our ability to manifest our desires into physical reality is guaranteed when we are in synchronistic alignment with the Divine Will, and have no internal sabotage patterns
running from cellular memory.
7. Law of Synchronicity - Being in the perfect place at the perfect time. Perfect attunement and perfect alignment where everything flows magically and harmoniously. This Law is also known as the Law of Grace which states that when Beings are aligned perfectly, they will flow with the divine perfection of God as God manifests in their lives.
8. Law of Discernment - Also known as the Law of Differentiation, this law has to do with being totally in tune with what is the next step in our personal evolution. This concept has been discussed in detail on the chapter on discernment
9. Law of Forgiveness - This refers to the paying of Karmic debts, the rebalance of energy by those who have created the energy imbalance. It brings forgiveness of self and others as no healing can be achieved without forgiveness
10. Law of Resonance - Like energies attract like particles due to their electromagnetic fields, so whatever we send out in thought, word or action, is amplified and returned to us
11. .Law of Perfection - Everything is perfect in its Divine state
12. Creative Law of Divine Affirmation - The power of thought and words which affirm that you are what you believe yourself or your reality to be. As you think, so shall you be
13. Law of Compensation - The order under which one receives just remuneration. This law is Universal and not subject to personal demands. It is associated with the Law of Cause and Effect and the Law of Creativity and is exercised in direct relation to an individual's choice of action
14. Law of Assimilation - Allows no particles to be built into our bodies that we, as spirits, have not overcome and made subject to ourselves
15. Law of Adaptation - The law of allowing and flowing easily with the only constant thing in the Universe - the changing nature of energy as it expresses itself in many diverse forms. We must be flexible, as change brings growth. Opening up and allowing the purest energy to flow through our being unhindered will bring great joy and balance as we tune in to greater powers. Tuning our energy fields
to accept only the purest of energies will maximize this experience
16. Law of Causation - Works in harmony with the stars so that a being is born at a time when the positions of the bodies in the solar system will give the conditions necessary to experience his/her advancement in the school of life. This covers the science of Astrology which influences our life according to the choice of birth sign and time of birth.
17. Law of Evolution and Rebirth - A slow process of development carried on with unwavering persistence through repeated embodiment in forms of increasing efficiency whereby all are, in time, brought to a height of spiritual splendour in recognition of Source and true identity. Also known as theLaw of Periodicity.
18. Law of Analogy - "Know thyself." It allows for a being to arrive at an understanding of the God force within him/herself and within the universe by understanding all aspects of his/her own being.
19. Law of Duality - When a being is consciously connected to the Source or 'enlightened' they are above this Law and unaffected by it. Until that time, this Law affects the polarity of energy.
20. Law of Mind - While Spirit is Absolute Reality, mind is the medium through which spirit works, through which creation takes place into physical form on this plane. The Law of Mind states that as you believe, so it will be. This means that at this level, man's belief influences and creates his reality. "The Law of Mind is the summation of human belief." Ann and Peter Meyer cover this law in detail in their
book 'Being a Christ' and it is also covered in detail in previous chapters.
21. Law of Respect - This law honours an individuals right to seek Universal Truth and Divine Wisdom in a manner that makes their heart sing provided that it also respectfully honours all life.
