All The Legend of Zelda Console Games

This lens is all about The Legend of Zelda. It's my favorite game ever so why not make a lens about it. I want to talk about the games I've played, which are: Twilight Princess, The Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past, The Adventures of Link and the original The Legend of Zelda.

I also have pictures of the games to bring back the memories.

I am playing Phantom Hourglass now but have not played The Minish Cap, Four Swords Adventures, A Link to the Past Four Swords, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages or Link's Awakening. I would like to play them some day though and when I do, I will add to this lens.

I've owned a Nintendo, Super Nintendo and now I have a Game Cube. I really wish I still had those old consoles but this lens isn't about consoles, it's about The Legends of Zelda.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I just finished playing this game and I must say that I believe it is my favorite. I don't have a Wii yet so I played on my Gamecube. I loved the characters, the dungeons and especially the spinner. The funnest boss I've ever fought is in this game.

Twilit Fossil-Stallord had to be beat using the spinner. The spinner is new to all Zelda games and I hope it's in future games as well. I love the spinner.

Another new cool item you get is the Ball and Chain. You can knock out blocks of ice, big rocks and of course, enemies. You get this in the Snowpeak Ruins.

All of the bosses were pretty fun to fight and the dungeons had some great puzzles, using some old ones and some new ones for Zelda games.

The most aggravating part of the game is when you have to take the Zora child to Kakariko Village. You're following the covered wagon, protecting it from enemies. Epona is hard to control which is what makes it so frustrating. You have to fight enemies plus make sure the fire is out on the wagon. Once you figure out you better kill those stupid birds before one drops a bomb in front of the wagon it's not so bad.

The most difficult heart piece to get has to be the snowboarding. Beating the Yeti's wife on the snowboard was pretty challenging, for me anyway. I finally did it though and got all the heart pieces.

I had ordered the strategy guide but by the time it got here, I was almost finished with the game, so I went and got all my heart pieces, bugs and everything else to get.

After I finished the game I started playing a new game. I was in the Lakebed Temple when I heard about The Cave of Ordeals. I got pretty far down before I died a horrible death. I've only tried it once. That's one thing I need to go conquer.

The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker

I remember the Wind Waker was A LOT of sailing. Some sailing is ok, but there was just a little too much in this one. The game was much more cartoonish than most Legend of Zelda games.

The fairy's and items were really cool in The Wind Waker. The dungeons and characters were fun and up to The Legend of Zelda standards.

Ganon was difficult to defeat in this one for me. It took me a few times to beat him. I just finally decided, "Look, it's either him or me!!!".

It's still worth playing, even with all the sailing, it's still a fun game. I played through it twice. It's more difficult than The Twilight Princess in my opinion.

The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask

I only played this one once. I never got a N64 so I played it later when The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition came out on Game Cube.

It's not a bad game but I don't remember being overly impressed with it. Maybe I should play it again just to make sure.

The Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask Characters:
The main characters are our hereo Link of course, the final boss Majora's Mask, the Skull Kid who is a trickster that you meet at the beginning of the game, the Happy Mask Salesman where you get some cool masks, Tatl and Tael are the fairies with The Skull Kid, Darmani the Goron and Midau the Zora that plays guitar.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

I played this one at least three times. It's a really good game and one of my favorites. The flute is sort of lame but you get used to it. Since the Ocarino is the flute you use to do all sorts of things, it's pretty useful.

This game came in two versions with the Master Quest.

We meet Epona for the first time in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. This time you had to earn her in a race. I remember this took me a few times to get but once you get it Epona is your best friend.

More to come about Ocarina of Time.

The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past

Until Twilight Princess came out this was my all-time favorite Legend of Zelda game. I played this one more times than I remember.

I was really disappointed that A Link to the Past was not on the Collector's Edition. I would really like to play this one again. Last time I played it I owned a Super Nintendo, so that's how long ago it's been. I think I actually bought the Super Nintendo just to play this game.

You go back and forth in time in this one. This one was a lot of fun and I'll have more info about A Link to the Past.

The Legend of Zelda The Adventures of Link

OK, well, the Adventures of Link. Unlike all the other Zelda games, this one was pretty disappointing.

This is the only Zelda game I've played that you have to grind for experience just to get past the first dungeon. I remember seeing that picture on the right over and over and over. And this was also the only Zelda game that used side-scrolling.

I remember playing it all the way through but it really wasn't that good in my opinion. Sort of like Mario 2. It was different and not as good as the first one either.

Not too much more to say, if I think of something else, I'll add it later.

The One That Started it All

The Legend of Zelda was one of the first Nintendo games I ever played. I was hooked right then. I played it again on the Collectors Edition.
