The Future of Keyword Research is Now

"I was introduced to ThemeZoom around the end of 2005. At the time I was doing a lot of keyword research in an attempt to find the best way to get my project into the main stream through the search engines.

Russell (see below), a fellow teacher, had been working as a marketing consultant. When doing his research for clients, he would have to spend hours finding the right information, looking over the data, then try and decide the best approach, in relation to marketing the clients product. He decided there had to be a better way.

He started to put together the idea for a piece of software that could get the data, analyze it's relationship to the market being searched, organize it in terms of relevance, show how users searched that market, in terms of phrases/keywords and bring the information to him, on his desktop.   ThemeZoom was born.

On a personal note, having used this software, and the truth is, it's not JUST SOFTWARE, it's a whole new way to view and understand the marketplace and people that use it. ThemeZoom really has saved me hours/days of work. I was able to analyze my market, which showed me new entry points to explore. It pointed out LSI and longterm phrases which I would never have dreamed of as being relevant to my market. And gave me up-to-date fresh data at the click of button.

The Training also opened up a completely new way to organize the structure of my website. Content set in silos with a strong emphasis on maintaining the integrity of the theme along with a clear and simple navigation system. Has optimized my websites for the future search engine changes.

This tool is not really for the novice and it is an investment. But if you are serious about keyword research, online marketing as well as developing websites that build user trust and factor in the longtail market then themezoom is a must.

The interface has been hand-built, by marketers specifically for this purpose. The online training will take you through everything you need to know so as to shorten the time you spend researching and give you time for other things. As well as a support staff that are working FOR you to help you make the most of this new era in online market intelligence.

It really IS the Future of Keyword Research, Now."

Market Segmentation with Keyword Research

Market Research and Keyword Research

Let's start with a definition of a cluster: A cluster is a collection of themes. What makes a cluster interesting is when the themes in a cluster represent a specific market segment. At that point the "cross cluster analysis" that is available on the "Themes Overview" screen can give you some very interesting information.

When drilling into themes in a cluster, you will find some terms are significantly broader or narrower than the norm (as defined by the numbers of competing pages), often times these terms actually represent a different segment of your market; either a larger market segment than the other terms in your cluster represent, or a smaller niche, respectively.

Keyword Research and Market Segmentation

Why a Theme Keyword Cluster

Market Segmentation and Keyword Analysis
To segment a market you will want to look at a specific aspect of that market by itself. Generally, the smaller the market niche in which you are looking, the fewer meaningful ways there are to segment the market.

Theme Zoom LLC, Marketing, Co-owner

Russell Wright has spent hundreds of hours engaging in keyword research for clients. It became obvious that most people confuse keyword research with market research.

Before entering into the search engine industry Russell had ten years of television advertising, sales and marketing experience.

Russell went online in 1999, recognizing the Internet as new globalmarketing medium. In 2002 he immersed himself in the study of online marketing and formalized his education as a search engine analyst in 2003.

Russell (aka "the keyword guy") is a search engine optimization auditor and co-inventor of the ThemeZoom keyword research tool. This tool was founded on Russell's proprietary keyword reporting system and the "8 different keyword types". This keyword system is designed to unveil the unique keyword fingerprint of your website that will generally assist you in dominating your niche at a high level.

As a professional speaker, he presents the search engine story in a way that both technical and non-technical audiences will enjoy. He takes a top-down philosophical approach when speaking about search engine marketing and technology. An experienced communicator and storyteller, his goal is to promote a perspective that tends to intrigue the average listener.

Theme Zoom LLC, Programmer, Co-owner

Little did Mr. Mishler expect, when he got his Electrical and Computer Engineering degree at Carnegie-Mellon University in 1988, that 2006 would see him involved in programming ThemeZoom. Rather, he assumed that a quiet corporate setting such as the one for which he was recruited, designing Integrated Circuits at Sun Microsystems, would be his fate!

Finally, after 6 years of doing this tedious work, and countless other years of programming in general, he found himself in the best of all possible situations: The Founding Formation of ThemeZoom!

LSI: Thinking Like a Search Engine

Article by Russell Wright

Wonder how a search engine 'thinks' about your web site? Search engines know what you say. And, sometimes they know what you mean.

Search engines have the challenge of recognizing the difference between synonymy and polysemy. Synonymy is when two different words mean the same thing- for example car versus automobile. Polysemy is when a single word has more than one specific meaning.

For example, the word "apple" is a fruit as well as an extremely popular brand of computers. Latent semantic indexing (LSI) is a mathematical approach to the problem of synonymy. It requires noticing when many web pages consistently refer to the same idea- even if the idea is not represented by the same keyword.

To Google, the tilde symbol(~) represents "synonym". A query for the word "~depression" will retrieve from Google completely different results than the word "depression" without the "~" function included in the query. More importantly you will bring back keyword synonyms that are very likely important to a depression-oriented web site.

When used carefully, the "tilde ~" function will allow you to extract safe silo keywords that allow for linking across unrelated themes within your silo structure. It has also become obvious that a website with synonyms included in the keywords and text links- will remain standing while auto-generated websites continue to fall off the map.

For example, "~depression" brings up the synonym keywords that include "disorder", "depressive disorder", and if you scroll down far enough- it brings up the keyword "mood". Further analysis has shown me that these synonyms are all terms that are not only worthy of including in your content (carefully written article) on depression- but they are safe to use across multiple theme silo's within your website meta-structure.

Theme Zoom has developed a proprietary technique that is highly aligned with the mathematics of LSI or Latent Semantic Indexing. Our method involves drilling into these synonym keywords in order to create content keywords. By using synonyms the most precise linking anchor-text strategies can be implemented. Additionally the overall website theme silo meta-structure becomes perfectly clear.
