Green is the new black
Buying used clothing is a great way to go green and get a fabulous wardrobe at the same time.
Officially launched in 2006, Our ebay store themodo sells stylish new and recycled clothing~ consigned and discovered in Portland, Oregon ~which in the process supports 2 young designers and their experimental collaboration in the wide, wide world of fashion.
A few of the eco-friendly brands we carry include eco ganik, Loomstate, stewart brown, edun, sameunderneath, gaiam organix, Of the Earth, Sweetgrass, two star dog and lily mcneal.
The intent of our store has always been to share our love of recycled fashion by providing our customers (and ourselves!) with a wide assortment of brand name and one of a kind peices that suite a variety of styles, tastes and needs. The main component of Modo works to provide a livelihood for its employees so energy can be spent on the art, design and creativity of their own lines of reconstructed fashion.
The Modo store was set up because we wanted to do something positive and fun.
