Chipped Beef and Green Onion Cheeseball
Fantastic! Also EXTREMELY Easy!!
8oz.cream cheese-softened
3 stalks of fresh green onion
1 package Budding beef-sandwich meat
Here's what you do:
Chop onion and cut beef into small pieces. Mix cream cheese, onion, and 3/4 of the beef in a medium bowl. When mixed well form into ball. Use remaining meat to cover the outside of the ball. (you can do this by rolling the ball in the meat or by actually putting the meat on the ball) Serve chilled with crackers.
Mom's Crab Meat Cheeseball
A Good Way to Spice Things Up a Little!
8oz Cream Cheese
1 can crab meat
cocktail sauce
Here's what you do:
Form cream cheese into a ball, put in medium serving dish, drain the crab meat, pour crab over cheeseball, then pour cocktail sauce over cheeseball.
Serve with crackers.
Deep-Fried Cheeseballs
7oz Cheddar Cheese, grated (1 3/4 cup)
8 crackers (1/3 cup finely crushed crumbs)
1 Tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
3 egg whites
Here's what you do:
Mix dry ingredients (except cracker crumbs) together and set aside. Beat egg whites until rounded peaks are formed and eggs do not slide. Sprinkle flour mix and grated cheese over egg whites, quickly and gently fold together. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of batter onto cracker crumbs, quickly work to form ball and coat with crumbs.Deep fry only as many balls at one time that will float uncrowded. Fry 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
