The Mystery Machine

Scooby-Doo is a long-running American animated series, the original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, was created for Hanna-Barbera Productions by writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears.

The main characters of Scooby Doo are named Scooby-Doo and four teenagers: Fred "Freddie" Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville "Shaggy" Rogers. They are collectively known as "Mystery, Inc" they cruise around in their famous "Mystery Machine" trying to solve mysteries, usually involving ghosts, ghouls or monsters.

No matter what mystery they faced Mystery Inc always managed to uncover the villian...

Before the Mystery Machine, the gang did still solve mysteries, but they had no way of their own transportation. From the time when they first began solving mysteries, which was when they were just about a year old, to the time they found the Mystery Machine, Daphne's Dad reluctantly drove them around everywhere they needed to go.
It was Shaggy Rogers that actually bought the Mystery Inc. van; with the consent of the other members of "Mystery Inc.", in need of great repair the Mystery Machine left unused for months until one hot July in the early 70's,the gang picked themselves up and decided to 'pimp' it. Being the 70's they chose a psychedelic paint design, and from there the rest is history.

Scooby-Doo:
"Ruh-roh (uh-oh)
"Rooby Rack (Scooby Snack)?"
"Hee he he he he he he!" (laughing)
"Raggy" (Shaggy)
"Reah (yeah)"
"Relp! (help!)"
"Scooby Dooby Doo!" (cry of joy)

Shaggy:
"Zoinks!"
"Like, wow!"
"Man, oh, man"
"Here we go again!"
"Scooby Doo, where are you?"

Fred "Freddie" Jones:
"Let's split up, gang!"
"I've got a plan..."
"That wraps up another mystery."

Daphne Blake:
"Would you do it for a Scooby snack?"
"Help!"

Velma Dace Dinkley:
"Jinkies"
"I found a clue"
