The Nanny Diaries Movie
The Nanny Diaries movie is due out in theaters September 7, 2007. It is based on the book of the same title by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus. The book was a #1 best-seller on the New York Times list.
The story is funny, but poignant. It centers around a young college student named Annie trying to make her way in life. She somehow ends up as a nanny for a rich family in Manhattan.
Annie tries to balance keeping the mother happy, the only son happy, avoiding the father, and not getting too attached to the handsome neighbor.
The movie has a strong cast. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti, Chris Evans, Alicia Keys, Donna Murphy, and Nicholas Reese Art.
