Experiencing Your Life Through Moments

When you understand the meaning of a moment and connect to it, you can then look into that moment and take all that it has to offer. This type of connection leads to wisdom about yourself and the world around you. It's through these moments that you can set your spirit free.

Through momentology, you can find more meaning in your life. Some people let important moments slip away without even a thought while others seek to investigate each moment.

According to Dana Dorfman, every moment is significant in your life. Through studying those moments in the practice of momentology, you can become more connected to the meaning and purpose of your life.

As you analyze the moments of your life, you may wonder if you're the one influencing each moment or if the moment is influencing you.

The Pink Forest: A Woman's Intimate Confessions

Empowerment of Momentology

In the Pink Forest, you'll read about a woman who has let go of the confines of morality and expectations and become who she was meant to be. It's the story of a woman who has a conscience that's become the pilot of her life.

Instead of doing what she truly wants, she allows herself to be guided by what she thinks she should do and who she thinks she should be. But as she begins to understand the moments of her life, she becomes who she is meant to be. This book isn't your average beach read for women - it takes the reader beyond the normal and into the spiritually empowering.

The most extraordinary things can be found in ordinary moments. And when you know how to look at the moments of your life, you, too, can find connection and meaning in the ordinary.

Dorfman gives a prime example of how momentology works in her semi-autobiographical tome. She'll lay a blue print for learning to live in the moment and experience the true wisdom that can come from reflecting upon each one.

How Do We Paint Cupid - In Love or In Passion?

By Dana Dorfman

When I first arrived at his smile there were hundreds of butterflies fluttering about inside of me. And then, a single butterfly broke free! It was a wandering butterfly and through it I breathed in the fullness of my excitement. The smile became a small rolling whisper that tickled the nape of my neck and I wondered if this feeling of exuberance is passion or is it love? I take a deep breath and step out of the margins of life to find the answer.

Perhaps many women describe their feelings of love as if their emotions are on the run. Exploding into spurts of frantic hard-to-understand moments, being in love always has us on the edge of our seat. Charming at times and insecure our hurried pacing becomes the reigning champ of our being. In essence we are nothing until we get the promised phone call from our suitor so we can keep to the fairytale.

And what about the fairytale? Is it truly a picture of possibilities or is our fairytale a bunch of plot-twists that only serve to leave us troubled? And what is it that has us troubled? Is it love or is it passion or is it simply that we are not in touch with our feelings and so, therefore, we cannot decipher what we are feeling? The gist of it is that our feelings can be the greatest secret to us and are worthy of our attention regardless of what they are.

But the question that remains is when is it love and when is it passion that we are feeling? It takes a certain sort of seductive power to qualify the fragrant breezes that make someone so irresistibly appealing. But in my book, the goddess of love and the goddess of passion are both lightning in a bottle and worth more than one listen.

But before I unfurl my revelations, allow me to say the following about love and passion's similarities. Both can arrive in barely a whisper, both make us see things in a different light, both can make us alarmingly eccentric, and both can have ordinary people forever running off the road of level-headedness. Tackling love and passion is like borrowing a friend's bicycle and riding unsteadily through a rain drenched day. No matter how much you focus on your foundation, you always will have this wobbly sense of uncertainty in a make-a-choice adventure that is not yours to control.

The differences between love and passion:

-Love is created with vision. Passion is created between two people.

-We make love part of our identity. Passion immerses our identity.

-Love notices us. We notice passion.

-Passion invites us to a party full of emotions. Love surges the soul with a far-away look.

-When we are in love we feel a warm gaze. When we feel passion we are under a sky of fire.

-Love makes you feel mystical. Passion makes you feel magical.

-Passion wriggles you out of reality's grasp. Love is humankind breathing.

-When you are in love a smile appears on your face for no reason. When you feel passion a playful smile crosses your lips.

-Passion is fiery eyes locking across a crowded room. Love caresses the air.

-Love is blowing kisses. Passion illuminates the night.

-Love is billowing curtains and ocean breezes. Passion is warming oil and edible body dust.

-Love is pulling the covers up under your chin. Passion is sleeping in the starlight.

-Love is throw pillows and candles burning. Passion is feeling the heat of an unrelenting sun.

- When we feel love goose bumps rise upon our skin. When we feel passion we close the curtains on a sleepy world.

-Love cradles our feelings. Passion turns our soul as bright as a rose.

-Love is cuddling in the rain under a broken umbrella. Passion is approaching thunder.

-Love has us giggling. Passion makes us fire breathers.

-Passion awakens us. We sleep with love.

And so the question remains, how do we paint cupid and the answer is with the brushstrokes of our mind. Remember that love and passion can masquerade an image that we ourselves portray. Our lustful nature is our jewel of movement. Although it has us wiping away glacial-like tears at times, we dream of being stilled in a kiss forever.

Suggestion: Get a wind-battered folding chair and pull a seat up to the tide. Answers are found when we don't try to harness the wind.
