Great Samples

Study these great examples

Here are samples of what excellent podcasting is all about!
Tim Knox Podcasts
Tim Knox, Serial Entrepreneur, Speaker, Columnist, Author, Consultant, Small Business Expert provides great content and an excellent format.
TalkShoe voice talk shows and discussion groups
TalkShoe is the brain child of Dave Nelsen, who spent his career in the telecommunications and software industries. Dave observed that there is no good way to find, connect with, and talk to interesting and like-minded people wherever they are.

Sure, there are chat rooms, but they often deteriorate into useless jabberwocky. There's IM, but it's just text. Then there's the phone, but finding new people to talk to is not practical.

Thus was born TalkShoe - a new way to talk with interesting people with similar interests around the world.

Text to Speech Tools

New text to Speech technologies are actually becoming a useful tool...after years of promises!
ReadSpeaker Text-to-Speech
ReadSpeaker is an interesting free tool that provides text to speech capabilities for a web page. While certainly not applicable for all situations it's a facinating technology that's come a LONG way in recent years.

About lonn

Hi everyone!

My name is Lon Naylor and I am a 30 year veteran of the computer industry. I "retired" in 1999 at the age of 41 after spending the last 9 years of that career as a Senior Systems Engineer for Microsoft Corp. (thanks Uncle Bill!!)

Nowdays, I spend my time pursuing my interests: scuba diving, flying, recording in my home studio (I'm a drummer of 40 years...), rare coins (Morgan DMPL silver dollars), and...of course...internet technologies.

I just moved to Wisconsin after spending 30 years in Phoenix, AZ to be close to my family and now live on a beautiful estate on the awesome Apple River.

I'll probably put up several lenses here on Squidoo about my interests and I hope you will find them useful.

Thanks,

Lon Naylor
