5 men decided to race their bicycles across Canada in just 8 days - all in aid of Juvenile Diabetes and to support their friend and father of a Type 1 diabetic.
In the process they took a year to raise the profile of this disease, learn team work lessons, rally each other, support and guide themselves on this perilous journey across Canada.
Riding in relay formation the chore was to raise money, awareness and set a Guinness Book of World Record time.
To date over $900,000 has been raised in aid of JDRF, over 11,000,000 people were made aware of the ride and a Guinness Record was set - traveling 24hrs a day across Canada and finishing in 8 Days!
