Therapy Swings
Therapy Swings are used for kids with special needs. Children with Sensory Integration issues, ADHD, and Autism all benefit from daily movement and stimulation. Although each kid is different, occupational therapists often use various kinds of swings and swinging techniques to help kids regulate their bodies. Swinging therapy helps kids focus and increases a child's body awareness. Kids love these swings because they're just plain fun!
3 in 1 Platform Swing
An innovative swing used in occupational therapy
Platform swings are excellent tools that help children with Sensory Integration Dysfunction. They can help regulate a child's vestibular system and give them the daily input they need to stay calm. This swing helps to vary the type of movement by using it either standing, sitting, or lying on their back or stomach. This is a great way to increase body awareness and give proprioception as well. The great thing about the 3 in 1 platform swing is that it can also be placed on the floor as a rotary toy. It has a rotational devise on the underside of the platform that allows the platform to turn endless in circles giving children who love to spin an appropriate way to get that type of stimulation.
