There Is No Solution

It's Time for A Complete Alternative, Because...
How many problems are there in this world to be solved, and on how many levels? If you look at it, isn't it obvious that no one is able to solve this mess in which we find ourselves? Solve something in this corner, another problem arises to strike you from behind, unexpectedly, of course, for who could foresee all consequences of his actions? No one knows really what he is doing in this sense. And it seems to be getting worse, and more and more chaotic. Do we ever really reach a solution here? Or are we just exchanging our limited ideas, bargaining for more while the other has to lose? There is no solution here. We cannot solve it.
However, what if you are merely hallucinating, and this world of death is simply an invention of your mind? Then you wouldn't be its victim anymore, and would not have to do or solve anything. You would be this world's savior by remembering who you are in truth. Give it all away, and you are free, freeing everyone along with you. A new story for you to tell...
We Do the Exact Oposite...
...of what we are supposed to do. "Love your enemy", Jesus told us. Yet we feed and live on a war machinery that is beyond any sense and contol.
The temptation will always be to react to evil. Evil will always entice you to react and fight it. Yet if I defend myself, I will be attacked, and will become what I fight. There is no solution here. Jesus did not fight evil, and did not teach defense against anything. Why? We are not bodies. What is destructible is not true. Nothing real can be threatened. So, if I react, I imprison myself and everyone else. We have to wake up. That includes taking a good look at our insane condition. It will be a miracle.
Recognizing the Insanity of This Place
Sheding light on our condition, admitting to where we find ourselves...
Obviously, transformation and healing is not a doing by any worldly establishment including every single human body identity in its retention of the past. Neither is it a new policy. It is the effect of an individual's determination to see differently, not to value what is valueless, but admit to the necessity for healing.
It is an undoing of the blocks and hindrances to the awareness of what makes us real and true which is love's presence. That has to include at some point seeing the insanity and cruelty of our condition which will let us say and mean it that there has to be more to life.
In America, we are proud to be the most advanced, strongest, free and independent people of the world. However, if we look at how 50 million people in this country are doing because of no healthcare provision, and how many millions of badly insured citizen face the loss of everything they care for and thought would absolutely be guaranteed in this strong and generous country, how can we not feel devastated! To see people get denied very basic or emergency care because they can't pay the bill, or because their insurance company doesn't care about them, how can we not feel the pain and injustice our brother suffers!
If you haven't seen Sicko by Michael Moore, please do so. It is an excellent piece of art and journalism that confronts us with a gut feeling and sense that there is something fundamentally wrong with our existence. I mean, how can anyone really accept the suffering and injustice brought about by this system of "living"?
Maybe, you think, it works in other countries, or another government would do. However, no matter what we do, we are all going to die in this system without a fundamental shift and change of mind. What makes us want to continue to justify this idea of "life"? What did we do to deserve this punishment?
This World Is the Symbol of Punishment
"The world you see is the delusional system of those made mad by guilt. Look carefully at this world, and you will realize that this is so. For this world is the symbol of punishment, and all the laws that seem to govern it are the laws of death. Children are born into it through pain and in pain. Their growth is attended by suffering, and they learn of sorrow and separation and death. Their minds seem to be trapped in their brain, and its powers to decline if their bodies are hurt. They seem to love, yet they desert and are deserted. They appear to lose what they love, perhaps the most insane belief of all. And their bodies wither and gasp and are laid in the ground, and are no more. Not one of them but has thought that God is cruel."
(Chapter 13.Intro, ACIM)
Limited Consciousness Is the Problem
No one in his right mind would say, God operates from a limited consciousness.
"No one on earth who remembers being whole, even for an instant, would ever think of constructing a limited God.
You don't really deny God, but rather ARE the denial.
How strange that denial is not a condition of limited consciousness, but rather IS limited consciousness.
All it really denies is what it has falsely constructed."

Is Death a Solution?
How often do we cling to death as a last resort?
Regardless of efforts, success and sacrifice "life" in this world is a roller coaster, a sad story, a bottomless pit of conflict, war, disaster, suffering and countless problems, interspersed with sequences of seeming happiness and pleasure. All roads lead to the same thing which is death. One may travel the roads of this world gaily for a while, but the end is certain.
You are not dead yet. Does death seem to be a solution to your condition in times of misery and darkness? The ultimate trump to escape this slaughterhouse? Yet where will you go? Can you die? Does mind and all its content simply vanish to nothing? Or will you merely continue to be stuck in just another form, with no change in your condition? Somewhere you must know death will not solve your problem, otherwise you would have killed yourself already.
So, is death a solution? Not, if there is a loving God. Death and God cannot coexist. Not, if there is no world. This world and a loving God are mutually exclusive.
Is death a solution?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byNo, death is ridiculous. It won't solve anything, because there is no death.

Thanks, Robin. Frankly, I don't understand what you are saying, or how you arrive at such an assumption. No one drummed into my mind the idea of a special privilege to be taken home, nor did I accept such an idea. That was not what I heard in the teachings of Master Teacher. If I find myself still here, it is because I want to be here. I am doing this to myself. Period. I was taken home a long time ago. My privilege is to forgive, because I am forgiven.
I do think that you are implying, that you did not resurrect in Jesus' resurrection. Or that when he left, you did not go with him. That, to me, would be the underlying idea of what you said.

Robin Evans says:
I have been thinking about my brothers at Endeavor Academy, those who are still there as well as those who have left now and find themselves on the wind.
I have been thinking of the absolute certainty that was the acceptable thinking all the years I was at the Academy, that Dear One, or the Master Teacher was going to take his chosen brothers with him.
It was drummed into the minds of everyone that he was leaving, and if you were special enough he was taking you with him.
I can see where this kind of thinking comes from, the world, is not the most comfortable place to house Spirit no matter how well off or apparently happy one thinks one is. We are strangers here, we are alien to time and space.
So, it is only sane that one would want to leave and return to a more natural state. However magic is not a solution here it is in fact the problem, seeking magic solutions is egos way of distracting us from the real deal.
Our function is not to seek to leave, or worship teachers in the hopes of points, it is to create, through our own miracle mindedness a strong interlocking chain of atonement/forgiveness that releases us from the need for time/space participation.
My brothers at Endeavor, some of who still believe the Master Teacher haunts the halls of the Academy. Let go now, this is a world of erroneous thinking, we are all wrong about everything including who's who in the spiritual hierarchy.
I offer you, each of you the miracle that Jesus has designed for you that you will remember your Course and be guided ONLY by the Holy Spirit within...
Thank you Hector for your consistent reminders...
Blessings

Time for a Complete Alternative
No Solution? What then?
Follow these bloggers who all saw in their lives that there is no solution here, but went beyond the idea of trying to fix what is not solvable. I cannot solve it. There is no world. That is what they saw. Therefore, they teach a complete alternative. What will let YOU realize what you know already, along with everyone else?
Seek not outside Yourself
All idols will fall. Every "solution" outside of us will fail us.
"Seek not outside yourself. For it will fail, and you will weep each time an idol falls. Heaven cannot be found where it is not, and there can be no peace excepting there. Each idol that you worship when God calls will never answer in His place. There is no other answer you can substitute, and find the happiness His answer brings. Seek not outside yourself. For all your pain comes simply from a futile search for what you want, insisting where it must be found. What if it is not there? Do you prefer that you be right or happy? Be you glad that you are told where happiness abides, and seek no longer elsewhere. You will fail. But it is given you to know the truth, and not to seek for it outside yourself.
No one who comes here but must still have hope, some lingering illusion, or some dream that there is something outside of himself that will bring happiness and peace to him. If everything is in him this cannot be so. And therefore by his coming, he denies the truth about himself, and seeks for something more than everything, as if a part of it were separated off and found where all the rest of it is not. This is the purpose he bestows upon the body; that it seek for what he lacks, and give him what would make himself complete. And thus he wanders aimlessly about, in search of something that he cannot find, believing that he is what he is not.
The lingering illusion will impel him to seek out a thousand idols, and to seek beyond them for a thousand more. And each will fail him, all excepting one; for he will die, and does not understand the idol that he seeks is but his death. Its form appears to be outside himself. Yet does he seek to kill God's Son within, and prove that he is victor over him. This is the purpose every idol has, for this the role that is assigned to it, and this the role that cannot be fulfilled."
(Chapter 29.VII, ACIM)
Where Is Meaning to Be Found?
Are meaning and truth merely human artifacts?
Post-modern philosophy has declared "war on meaning" and the possibility of truth, absolute truth. All it can see as truth is what is agreed on by a community. Absolute truth does not exist. It's all relative to the community in which we participate.Michel Foucault even says, "to all those who still wish to think about man, about his reign or his liberation ...who still ask themselves questions about what is man in his essence... who wish to take him as their starting point in their attempts to reach the truth... to all these warped and twisted forms of reflection, we can only answer with a philosophical laugh -- which means to a certain extent, a silent one." (Foucault, Michel, The Order of Things: The Archaeology of Human Sciences, Routledge, 1972,p. 342-343)
See more on post-modernism, particularly in regard to Umberto Eco who still affirms faith: God, Truth, and Meaning, in the Post-modernism of Umberto Eco
The marine soldier from the World War II arriving at Nagasaki in 1945 after the atomic devastation, the winner of the war, certainly thought about the meaning of ANYTHING we do here. If such indescribable horrors are an inevitable part of this world, do we really want to live in all this madness, doing good, trying the best, but never being able to stop suffering out in the world. Look at this world, its horrors of disasters, poverty and starvation, wars, the state of the environment. It is a slaughterhouse. What is the sense of it all? It doesn't make any sense. Why die? What are we doing here? Where is meaning to be found?
Post-modern philosophy and politics have no answer to these questions. But in my eyes they do not share the perspective of Jesus who knew perfection and love, the meaning and purpose of the universe. In Jesus' view and teachings we learn that the world is indeed meaningless, but meaning and truth are our inheritance because we share it with God. Only if we objectify and place it outside of us, do we lose sight of it. This idea is very different from the statement that there is no absolute truth and meaning at all.
My point is there isn't any world, because this -- what we call world -- is not based on truth and love. Therefore it cannot be true. It must be completely meaningless, and so it is. Why waste time with meaningless efforts and hold others in their hopes there will be a future solution? There is none. Why? Now is the only time there is.
You could not live with the idea that meaning and truth are merely human constructions, artifacts, social rules, could you? Yet if we do not have a common source establishing meaning and truth, we have nothing. We need to look for it where it is.

Ready for a Real Alternative? Watch A Course In Miracles Videos

Listen to and watch Master Teacher presenting and demonstrating to you in four videos the application of the amazingly simple and powerful lessons of A Course In Miracles, in this case the "Obstacles to Peace" from Chapter 19 in the Text. All four videos of the series called "The End of The World Series" offer a direct experience of a complete alternative to this world of pain, sickness and death. Are you ready for a miracle?
Permanence in the Impermanent?
Look for permanence in the impermanent, and you will fail.
"Failure is all about you while you seek for goals that cannot be achieved. You look for permanence in the impermanent, for love where there is none, for safety in the midst of danger; immortality within the darkness of the dream of death. Who could succeed where contradiction is the setting of his searching, and the place to which he comes to find stability?
Goals that are meaningless are not attained. There is no way to reach them, for the means by which you strive for them are meaningless as they are. Who can use such senseless means, and hope through them to gain in anything? Where can they lead? And what could they achieve that offers any hope of being real? Pursuit of the imagined leads to death because it is the search for nothingness, and while you seek for life you ask for death. You look for safety and security, while in your heart you pray for danger and protection for the little dream you made.
Yet searching is inevitable here. For this you came, and you will surely do the thing you came for. But the world can not dictate the goal for which you search, unless you give it power to do so. Otherwise, you still are free to choose a goal that lies beyond the world and every worldly thought, and one that comes to you from an idea relinquished yet remembered, old yet new; an echo of a heritage forgot, yet holding everything you really want."

Solving the Paradox -- Some More Lenses of Mine

Key Lesson 182 of A Course In Miracles
Going home instead of trying to fix what is not solvable
"I will be still an instant and go home."
This world you seem to live in is not home to you.
And somewhere in your mind you know that this is true.
A memory of home keeps haunting you, as if there were a place that called you to return, although you do not recognize the voice, nor what it is the voice reminds you of. Yet still you feel an alien here, from somewhere all unknown. Nothing so definite that you could say with certainty you are an exile here. Just a persistent feeling, sometimes not more than a tiny throb, at other times hardly remembered, actively dismissed, but surely to return to mind again.
No one but knows whereof we speak. Yet some try to put by their suffering in games they play to occupy their time, and keep their sadness from them. Others will deny that they are sad, and do not recognize their tears at all. Still others will maintain that what we speak of is illusion, not to be considered more than but a dream. Yet who, in simple honesty, without defensiveness and self-deception, would deny he understands the words we speak?
We speak today for everyone who walks this world, for he is not at home. He goes uncertainly about in endless search, seeking in darkness what he cannot find; not recognizing what it is he seeks. A thousand homes he makes, yet none contents his restless mind. He does not understand he builds in vain. The home he seeks can not be made by him. There is no substitute for Heaven. All he ever made was hell.
Perhaps you think it is your childhood home that you would find again. The childhood of your body, and its place of shelter, are a memory now so distorted that you merely hold a picture of a past that never happened. Yet there is a Child in you Who seeks His Father's house, and knows that He is alien here. This childhood is eternal, with an innocence that will endure forever. Where this Child shall go is holy ground. It is His holiness that lights up Heaven, and that brings to earth the pure reflection of the light above, wherein are earth and Heaven joined as one.
It is this Child in you your Father knows as His Own Son. It is this Child Who knows His Father. He desires to go home so deeply, so unceasingly, His voice cries unto you to let Him rest a while. He does not ask for more than just a few instants of respite; just an interval in which He can return to breathe again the holy air that fills His Father's house. You are His home as well. He will return. But give Him just a little time to be Himself, within the peace that is His home, resting in silence and in peace and love.
This Child needs your protection. He is far from home. He is so little that He seems so easily shut out, His tiny voice so readily obscured, His call for help almost unheard amid the grating sounds and harsh and rasping noises of the world. Yet does He know that in you still abides His sure protection. You will fail Him not. He will go home, and you along with Him.
This Child is your defenselessness; your strength. He trusts in you. He came because He knew you would not fail. He whispers of His home unceasingly to you. For He would bring you back with Him, that He Himself might stay, and not return again where He does not belong, and where He lives an outcast in a world of alien thoughts. His patience has no limits. He will wait until you hear His gentle Voice within you, calling you to let Him go in peace, along with you, to where He is at home and you with Him.
When you are still an instant, when the world recedes from you, when valueless ideas cease to have value in your restless mind, then will you hear His Voice. So poignantly He calls to you that you will not resist Him longer. In that instant He will take you to His home, and you will stay with Him in perfect stillness, silent and at peace, beyond all words, untouched by fear and doubt, sublimely certain that you are at home.
Rest with Him frequently today. For He was willing to become a little Child that you might learn of Him how strong is he who comes without defenses, offering only love's messages to those who think he is their enemy. He holds the might of Heaven in His hand and calls them friend, and gives His strength to them, that they may see He would be Friend to them. He asks that they protect Him, for His home is far away, and He will not return to it alone.
Christ is reborn as but a little Child each time a wanderer would leave his home. For he must learn that what he would protect is but this Child, Who comes defenseless and Who is protected by defenselessness. Go home with Him from time to time today. You are as much an alien here as He.
Take time today to lay aside your shield which profits nothing, and lay down the spear and sword you raised against an enemy without existence. Christ has called you friend and brother. He has even come to ask your help in letting Him go home today, completed and completely. He has come as does a little child, who must beseech his father for protection and for love. He rules the universe, and yet He asks unceasingly that you return with Him, and take illusions as your gods no more.
You have not lost your innocence. It is for this you yearn. This is your heart's desire. This is the voice you hear, and this the call which cannot be denied. The holy Child remains with you. His home is yours. Today He gives you His defenselessness, and you accept it in exchange for all the toys of battle you have made. And now the way is open, and the journey has an end in sight at last. Be still an instant and go home with Him, and be at peace a while."

Simply Stop It, as Bob Newhart Puts It
I love this skit. It is so hillarious. Its too simple a solution to be acceptable to the human mind.
"There's No Solution" by Sum 41
What if you really knew you had no solution?
I Want the Peace of God
You want a piece of God? Would be peace forever, wouldn't it?
I want the peace of God.
To say these words is nothing. But to mean these words is everything. If you could but mean them for just an instant, there would be no further sorrow possible for you in any form; in any place or time. Heaven would be completely given back to full awareness, memory of God entirely restored, the resurrection of all creation fully recognized.
No one can mean these words and not be healed. He cannot play with dreams, nor think he is himself a dream. He cannot make a hell and think it real. He wants the peace of God, and it is given him. For that is all he wants, and that is all he will receive. Many have said these words. But few indeed have meant them. You have but to look upon the world you see around you to be sure how very few they are. The world would be completely changed, should any two agree these words express the only thing they want."
Here is a perfect argument why there is no solution in this world. Minds can only join in truth. Never will a true agreement be reached here. Why is that? For each one the hero of his dream is different. When you truly join, you disappear.
"Two minds with one intent become so strong that what they will becomes the Will of God. For minds can only join in truth. In dreams, no two can share the same intent. To each, the hero of the dream is different; the outcome wanted not the same for both. Loser and gainer merely shift about in changing patterns, as the ratio of gain to loss and loss to gain takes on a different aspect or another form.
Yet compromise alone a dream can bring. Sometimes it takes the form of union, but only the form. The meaning must escape the dream, for compromising is the goal of dreaming. Minds cannot unite in dreams. They merely bargain. And what bargain can give them the peace of God? Illusions come to take His place. And what He means is lost to sleeping minds intent on compromise, each to his gain and to another's loss.
To mean you want the peace of God is to renounce all dreams. For no one means these words who wants illusions, and who therefore seeks the means which bring illusions. He has looked on them, and found them wanting. Now he seeks to go beyond them, recognizing that another dream would offer nothing more than all the others. Dreams are one to him. And he has learned their only difference is one of form, for one will bring the same despair and misery as do the rest.
The mind which means that all it wants is peace must join with other minds, for that is how peace is obtained. And when the wish for peace is genuine, the means for finding it is given, in a form each mind that seeks for it in honesty can understand. Whatever form the lesson takes is planned for him in such a way that he can not mistake it, if his asking is sincere. But if he asks without sincerity, there is no form in which the lesson will meet with acceptance and be truly learned.
Let us now devote our practicing to recognizing that we really mean the words we say. We want the peace of God. This is no idle wish. These words do not request another dream be given us. They do not ask for compromise, nor try to make another bargain in the hope that there may yet be one that can succeed where all the rest have failed. To mean these words acknowledges illusions are in vain, requesting the eternal in the place of shifting dreams which seem to change in what they offer, but are one in nothingness.
Now devote your practice periods to careful searching of your mind, to find the dreams you cherish still. What do you ask for in your heart? Forget the words you use in making your requests. Consider but what you believe will comfort you, and bring you happiness. But be you not dismayed by lingering illusions, for their form is not what matters now. Let not some dreams be more acceptable, reserving shame and secrecy for others. They are one. And being one, one question should be asked of all of them, "Is this what I would have, in place of Heaven and the peace of God?"
This is the choice you make. Be not deceived that it is otherwise. No compromise is possible in this. You choose God's peace, or you have asked for dreams. And dreams will come as you requested them. Yet will God's peace come just as certainly, and to remain with you forever. It will not be gone with every twist and turning of the road, to reappear, unrecognized, in forms which shift and change with every step you take.
You want the peace of God. And so do all who seem to seek for dreams. For them as well as for yourself, you ask but this when you make this request with deep sincerity. For thus you reach to what they really want, and join your own intent with what they seek above all things, perhaps unknown to them, but sure to you. You have been weak at times, uncertain in your purpose, and unsure of what you wanted, where to look for it, and where to turn for help in the attempt. Help has been given you. And would you not avail yourself of it by sharing it?
No one who truly seeks the peace of God can fail to find it. For he merely asks that he deceive himself no longer by denying to himself what is God's Will. Who can remain unsatisfied who asks for what he has already? Who could be unanswered who requests an answer which is his to give? The peace of God is yours.
For you was peace created, given you by its Creator, and established as His Own eternal gift. How can you fail, when you but ask for what He wills for you? And how could your request be limited to you alone? No gift of God can be unshared. It is this attribute that sets the gifts of God apart from every dream that ever seemed to take the place of truth.
No one can lose and everyone must gain whenever any gift of God has been requested and received by anyone. God gives but to unite. To take away is meaningless to Him. And when it is as meaningless to you, you can be sure you share one Will with Him, and He with you. And you will also know you share one Will with all your brothers, whose intent is yours.
It is this one intent we seek now, uniting our desires with the need of every heart, the call of every mind, the hope that lies beyond despair, the love attack would hide, the brotherhood that hate has sought to sever, but which still remains as God created it. With Help like this beside us, can we fail today as we request the peace of God be given us?

There is only one way out of the dilemma of human existence dedicated to pain, sickness and death.

It is the human being's mind only that causes the problem, but the problem can't be real, if there is an all-loving and all-powerful Mind and God that is the Source of all life. Therefore, happiness and peace can only come through a change of mind that leads to the recognition of our inherent nature as mind and love, because we were created in the image and likeness of God.
There are tools and programs, teachers and Masters that are dedicated to that proposition and purpose. Let's share it and make use of it.

How Do Human Beings See Death?
No one really knows what death is, but how do people see death?
Apart from the question of whether death is a solution or not, the issue here is perception. How do you, how do people see death? Do you believe in death to get you out of here, back to Heaven, or who knows where? Do you think that death will open up a place of peace and harmony to you? Or do you expect complete nothingness, or eternal hell?
What is death perceived to be?
