Halloween is one holiday that never stops growing in terms of sales and quality. The quality of Halloween costumes, makeup and props have been steadily improving every year without fail. One big way to up the quality of your Halloween?

Plan ahead. This is a big one. Most people wait until October 30th and then panic. That is not conducive to anything good. So why not jot down some ideas now and start your search?

If you buy a pre-made costume, add items to it to make it your own. Improve on it's quality. Take a pre-made Joker costume and go to a thrift store to find a real pair of pants or a vest to go with your purple suit. It will give it a sense of "texture". The more detail you add to a pre-made costume, the better.

Use The Scream Team Foam Latex Appliances. Okay, so that was a "no-brainer" coming from us. But you would be amazed at how so many customers think they just can't make a real, movie foam latex appliance work. They say they are "not artistic" and such. Not true, our fearless leader is an amazing makeup artist but also taught makeup for a couple of decades. He knows how to teach the novice.

Read the instructions!
This is a big one. One that many fail to do, or fail to do FULLY. We know this is a digital age of instant information. If we could download our instructions directly into your brain, we would. But short of that, reading the entire directions for our products is the perfect way to inform yourself and take the stress out of the application and removal process.
