The Secret Law of Attraction
The Top Ten Moans About The Secret Law Of Attraction ...And Why They're Wrong!
"The Secret" movie and book are attracting a lot of controversy and I think it's time to answer the critics. Here's my take on the top ten whinges I've found on the net.
1. It sounds too easy and only hard work guarantees success.
I agree with what Henry Ford said... "Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it". Maybe "The Secret" and Law of Attraction knockers should try it sometime! Creative visualization is NOT easy, simple yes, but not easy!
2. It's just "The Power of Positive Thinking" repackaged.
Positive thinking is a part of it and that's definitely a lot better than the non-stop negative barrage coming from the mass media.
3. It's 'magical' or wishful thinking.
So what's wrong with that? When what you genuinely wish for turns into reality, it is kind of magical! You probably won't get to see the genie but "The Secret" was originally made for TV, so how could they resist shooting that scene!?
4. It's a money making scam.
Why do so many people think they should get everything for free, and that anyone who makes a profit by marketing a product a lot of people want to buy, is a con artist?
5. Victims of evil deeds cannot be attracting them.
They're not. Most people don't consistently think positively or negatively and stuff, good and bad, just happens to them by chance.
6. There are no shortcuts in life.
To follow the obvious signs pointing to your destination must be the quickest route. Why deliberately ignore them and take the long way round?
7. It's just another conspiracy theory.
There is a conspiracy but the conspirators aren't who you think. The people who say you should stop dreaming and live a life of drudgery are the ones plotting against you.
8. The self-help/self-improvement industry is at it again.
If you don't help yourself, then who should? The government? Charity? As for those who think there is no need for self-improvement... congratulations if you think you're perfect, but most of us aren't yet.
9. Money isn't important.
Are you sure your family agrees with you? Would somebody starving to death prefer a donation, or someone feeling really sorry for them.
10. The scientific claims aren't proven.
The references made to quantum physics haven't been disproved either! There is a book called "Quantum Enigma - Physics Encounters Consciousness" which explores the subject.
So what is the truth about The Secret Law of Attraction? Does it really work? You bet it does and I'll be proving it, so stay tuned here and at my blog: http://www.ultrabraintraining.com
Have fun and expect good stuff.

Update: I've found another moan about The Secret Law of Attraction ...
11. It's new age mumbo-jumbo.
New age? Hmm, what about this then: "We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world." The Buddha circa 500BC

- Okay, so you want "proof" of the L o A?
Is there ANYONE who has NOT had the following experience:
You realize you've been thinking about someone for a while. "Y'know? I think I'm gonna give'em a call."
You reach for the phone to dial the person but before you pick up the receiver, the phone rings and who is it but the person you were JUST about to CALL! (Or even better, you pick up the receiver, but there's no dial tone & you realize the person has already called you and you picked UP the phone BEFORE it even rang.)
Coincidence? (Yeha, right! Gimme a call then, coz I've got a bridge to sell you!)

- I really can't get it why is it toohard to make people believe in the law of attraction. I've been searching on that subject for a while and my life changed alot. Unfortunately, I could see the doubt in the eyes of the people around me.
Now I'm searching for the proofs of mind power and share them on my blog. The people around me start to believe in what I share, after they read about the scientific studies. There are countless researches studying on mind and what human mind can do.
It does not make sense not to believe in your own mind if you have one.

- Okay, sounds like I'm preaching to the choir here but the law of attraction is an every day thing. It's just another one of nature's laws. You can't not use it. It's a shame more people don't realize that the law is out there daily drawing them to or away from things they want or think they want. I suppose they'll figure it out eventually.
My only problem with the law of attraction are the folks that make it sound mystical or other worldly. That's why the vast majority of people pooh pooh it. Anyway, I tend to rant about that point over on my blog Chris CarterdotNet. It's a hoot, I think, and you're invited to stop on by whenever you get a chance.

- I guess the secret has differnt interpretations.... I know the law of attraction is true such as working hard for what you want..It makes no sense to visualize and not take action...

- The Law of Attraction does work, but you have to know how to use it. You also have to be willing to put in the work in order to see the results. The Secret book and movie only give you a sampling of how to use the LOA. I suggest that anyone who wants to learn more read books by Jerry and Esther Hicks.

- The Law of Attraction doesn't take into effect the Law of Karma or past life responsibilities. I think it's a bunch of bunk. It only seems to make a profit for those preaching it.

- When people say money isn't everything I just say plainly "You are broke, aren't you?"
I think the main reason why most people reject the law of attraction is because they don't understand it and a confused mind always says no out of instinct.
The truth is there people are living healthy, wealthy, successful lives by using the law of attraction. But that is the just the tip of the ice berg if you are at all confused or want to just learn more about the how you can use the law of attraction and other powerful laws to help you make the most out of your life. There are programs that give you step by step ways to GROW and be more. Join thousands of people going to this site to learn and earn more http://gettingrich-desir15.blogspot.com/ you'll feel so amazing once you do. And you skeptics that made up these ten moans need it more than anyone. :)

- this makes no sense they say that its a scam you cant get anything for free, if you paid attention to the movie it stated that you would think of a creative way or get a great idea on how you can achieve the thing that it is that you want! nothing in the world is free, but it is true that when you think negative negative things will happen to you.

- Great Lens.. I liked the response to "magic." I wrote an article combining a few simple, logical facts, which then conclude that real magic is actually much more real, and possible to perform, than most people have thought. It's pretty straightforward and interesting stuff.

- Visualization is an incredibly powerful tool ... when accompanied by action. It can also be hugely beneficial for healing oneself. However, with regard to "manifesting" physical objects, influencing other people or events, it fails.
With regard to moans, you might try answering these:
What about it being thermodynamically impossible, the mental equivalent of The Perpetual Motion Machine.
Unlike an actual Natural law like the "Law of Gravity", which has been repeatedly proven and used to send spacecraft to other planets, the "Law of Attraction" is a man-made artifice. It cannot be measured, detected or otherwise proven.
The energy of our thoughts (the mental vibrations) are barely able to penetrate our skulls, let alone project out into the Universe to become "Manifest"
The energy required to manifest a physical object from energy is stupifyingly huge. Think of the partial conversion of plutonium to daughter products in a nuclear explosion! That isn't even complete conversion. That is conversion of matter to energy through fission. Manifesting would be the opposite, capturing the energy of a nuclear explosion to "manifest" an less than an ounce of fissionable material.
