The Top Ten Moans About The Secret Law Of Attraction ...And Why They're Wrong!
"The Secret" movie and book are attracting a lot of controversy and I think it's time to answer the critics. Here's my take on the top ten whinges I've found on the net.
1. It sounds too easy and only hard work guarantees success.
I agree with what Henry Ford said... "Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it". Maybe "The Secret" and Law of Attraction knockers should try it sometime! Creative visualization is NOT easy, simple yes, but not easy!
2. It's just "The Power of Positive Thinking" repackaged.
Positive thinking is a part of it and that's definitely a lot better than the non-stop negative barrage coming from the mass media.
3. It's 'magical' or wishful thinking.
So what's wrong with that? When what you genuinely wish for turns into reality, it is kind of magical! You probably won't get to see the genie but "The Secret" was originally made for TV, so how could they resist shooting that scene!?
4. It's a money making scam.
Why do so many people think they should get everything for free, and that anyone who makes a profit by marketing a product a lot of people want to buy, is a con artist?
5. Victims of evil deeds cannot be attracting them.
They're not. Most people don't consistently think positively or negatively and stuff, good and bad, just happens to them by chance.
6. There are no shortcuts in life.
To follow the obvious signs pointing to your destination must be the quickest route. Why deliberately ignore them and take the long way round?
7. It's just another conspiracy theory.
There is a conspiracy but the conspirators aren't who you think. The people who say you should stop dreaming and live a life of drudgery are the ones plotting against you.
8. The self-help/self-improvement industry is at it again.
If you don't help yourself, then who should? The government? Charity? As for those who think there is no need for self-improvement... congratulations if you think you're perfect, but most of us aren't yet.
9. Money isn't important.
Are you sure your family agrees with you? Would somebody starving to death prefer a donation, or someone feeling really sorry for them.
10. The scientific claims aren't proven.
The references made to quantum physics haven't been disproved either! There is a book called "Quantum Enigma - Physics Encounters Consciousness" which explores the subject.
So what is the truth about The Secret Law of Attraction? Does it really work? You bet it does and I'll be proving it, so stay tuned here and at my blog: http://www.ultrabraintraining.com
Have fun and expect good stuff.
