The Secret of LEVERAGE

Leverage is your ONLY answer to live a life that will allow you to have choices that you only dreamed of when you were in high school trying to figure out if you were going to be an Astronaut or a professional skateboarder or a professional athlete. It didn't matter; whatever it was you were going to do was going to get you retired before you were thirty. No one gets out of high school or college thinking that they will be working until they are 65 or until they die. But that's exactly what 95% of the population does.

Then why not do what 5% of the population does? Do what the 5% that have the most wealth do. The 5% that continue to use the same principles that got them to become the 5% - that's why the rich continue to get richer. And No, they aren't any smarter than you and they certainly don't have a secret and No, they didn't all inherit millions.

The used a simple concept known to man - since the beginning of time! Time Leverage!

So Mark that's great but what do I do next? Find out how to gain leverage in what you currently do or start something you have a passion for and apply the concept.

Well give me some examples to get started - OK here they are;

· A self-serve car wash - zero employees - 1 clean up/maintenance person. You do what ever you want to, go by the car wash once or twice a week and put the cash in the bank. Money flows when you are not there! Leverage! I own a car wash - IT WORKS!

· A Laundromat - zero employees - 1 clean up/maintenance person. You do what ever you want to, go by once or twice a week and put the cash in the bank. Money flows when you are not there! Voila Leverage again - sound familiar! Heck since you're on a roll why not have one or two of each?!

· Rental units - that have a positive cash flow (big caveat there!). Obviously be sure you know what you are doing and get coaching from someone who is knowledgeable if you aren't. Hire a property management company to take care of it. More flow less time - and you are doing something else as the cash hits the bank! I own rental units - IT WORKS!

· Internet Marketing & information selling or brokering. What are you great at that people want to know about and would pay money for? Figure it out, God didn't put you here without a reason! Then develop it and sell it! I worte this report - IT WORKS!

· Start several franchises. Great form of leverage! Think about it McDonald's is a multi-billion dollar company run by 18 year olds at each outlet - now that's cool!

· Gyms - the health craze is growing & shows no signs of letting up as the boomers retire they want to look better, feel better and be active well into the retirement years (the golden years). Crowded market but find a good location and differentiate yourself or just go the franchise route.

· Weight loss franchises are great and people always battle the weight issue and the battle of the bulge isn't getting easier. Just be sure great systems and multiple sites are in your plans.

· Network Marketing - low cost and low barriers to entry, no employees, and every time a product moves you get paid - even if you didn't move it! I have a Network Marketing Distributorship that pays me incredibly well - IT WORKS! This is how I became financially free.

· Any business that can utilize the talents of others that will allow you to focus on what you are good at - but you can still get paid on what others do! You get employees at wholesale and definitely, just like any company out there, sell that time at retail - you get the markup and you saved yourself from doing all the work on your own!

But always have multiples if you can of anything you do. That's where the true leverage and economies of scale benefit you. If you have multiple rentals or multiple franchises or multiple car washes you are forced to do a few things;

1. Have a system that works even when you aren't there because you can't be at each location every day all day long. Systems work well ask Michael Gerber author of The Emyth books. They enable you to go do something else while the system runs the daily operations.

2. Hire good people (if you have to hire employees) that you can trust and allow them to implement the system. I prefer to have streams of income that have very few or zero employees.

3. Leverage your buying power and economies of scale. You can kill the competition of all those folks that think "OK I'll just start this one and do it until it works really well then I'll start another one". Well another one never comes because they are never satisfied with how the first one is doing. In the meantime you can buy in bulk (lower wholesale cost) and are forced to have a system that works when you aren't there (see #1).

4. Automate it. Internet businesses can be automated easier than any other business I know of. Autoresponders make the work easy. Do the work one time and you create a system (see again the same thing) that will perpetuate every time a new subscriber joins you list.

Leverage has been around for centuries.

Then why is it that most people miss out on utilizing a method of generating income to allow them to be financially independent and free within 2 - 5 years?

My wife and I have used this concept for the last 4 years and we became financially independent within 12 months. We both retired in our thirties from corporate america and haven't been on anyone's payroll for over 3 years.

We did it and we know that ANYONE can if they just understand how to employ the concept of leverage in multiple ways to achieve their dreams.

We diversified quickly with the leverage we created. We started with Network Marketing generated a six-figure annual income, then branched out into Discount stores, Carwashes and Internet Marketing.

This has resulted in hundereds of thousands of dollars of income for us over the past 4 years. And we can do it all from our home and it takes about 20 to 30 hours perweek.

True leverage can be created by anyone - the question is how? And, how fast? Well that's up to you. I have tried many things - some worked some didn't but I tried - that's the key. Most never try or just give up prior to taking action - because they say "well it probably doesn't work anyway".

Or even better yet a loved one, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, parent says "it won't work and don't do it" - and guess what they're right. And you would have been right too if you would have tried and also BELIEVED it would have worked.
