The Secret Seminar

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne reveals that the only one law rules our life and that is the Law of Attraction. So what do this Law of Attraction tells us? How does it work? Actually, the speakers in the movie, The Secret, will be launching a home seminar called The Science of Getting Rich Seminar. They would discuss more on the Law of Attraction and how to apply it in our daily lives. But basically, the movie states that we can interact with the universe. Many would ask how? The answer is simple. The universe is made up of energy, and we are also made up of energy. In fact we are spiritual in nature. Our main components are atom and these atoms are made up of energy. It is very hard to explain but this is what the movie tells us. We are composed of energy that can interact with each other. We can interact with the universe around us. If only that we focus our selves on the good feelings that we have, we are telling the universe to attract all the positive things to us in order for us to rich our dreams. If we focus on the bad side of our life, we are telling the universe about these bad and negative things, so it would always attract our lives. The law of attraction is very simple. Just focus on the things that can make us happy and we will attract good things to come into our life. We may think that it is impossible but there is nothing to lose by thinking positively, right?

One luminary who seemed to have a grasp of the secret was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He spoke of the process of nonviolence. The process of nonviolence presupposes an understanding that the group or individual that presents violence to a problem of violence only generates a more intense form of violence and no real progress can ever be made that way.

This is an essential element to the teaching of the Secret and will be discussed on The Secret Seminar. What you bring your observation to will come back to haunt you again as an echo of your own attention and intention. It is like the feelings you are emanating, in order to bring more of what you don't want must be hateful, angry, guilty, fearful. However, if you are interested in changing the direction toward which your wheel of fortune is turning, the feelings that you produce by thinking the thoughts you think will give you the most powerful clue to attracting what you want.

The context of our times--following a century of unprecedented wealth and expansion right next to a century that saw the worst sorts of murder and disease ever known to humans--demands that we account for disparity and injustice. You hear the voices around you telling you that you must not choose happiness while others suffer. You may not choose health while others tremble with tormenting disease.

If you had any sense, this voice claims, you would get a disease yourself and accept that life is pain and that all other forms of thought are fraudulent. The secret behind the Secret seminar would be teaching that in the place that no sword can damage or disease grow; there thrives the eternal knowing that life is beautiful. You knew it as a child. You knew it as you grew. At some point--for some early, others late--the thought virus called materialism infected your mind and stole you from your dwelling in the ethereal realms of joy and frolic.

Someone told you that you had to find a way to get grounded in the way things really are. They told you to turn on your television or open your textbooks to read about the plight of the downtrodden or listen to the doom that awaits us all. If you were thoughtful, as most of you are, I imagine these teachings caused you to shudder and put your attention on other dark and gloomy "truths" in the world.

If you were savvy, as I'm sure most of you were, you soon found your threshold for pain surpassed and you had to find something to distract your troubled mind. Ultimately, however, the entire explanation of the world that told you to shed tears is something that you can now release. Joy is not something you earn after years of toiling towards retirement.

Joy is not something you have to earn at all. If you did, every child on the planet would spend their first years in sorrow until they finally paid enough for the fact that they were borne without reimbursing the universe that bore them. The nature of life is one of contrasting experiences. Nothing more.
