Inspired by the upcoming release of The Simpsons Movie on July 27, 2007, the August 2007 issue of Vanity Fair has an outstanding article in it called, Simpson Family Values, written by John Ortved. The article discusses the various reasons behind what makes The Simpsons the pop phenomenon that it is and goes into details about the creating of, and the success of, the longest running sit-com in television's history.
