Homer Jay Simpson is your average 6 foot tall, 300 pound guy, he loves TV and Duff beer. He got married to Marge after she had dated an irritating man and he was her shoulder to cry on. He is also a father to three children. He may not be that bright, let's face it - he's stupid, but he's funny and lovable as he tries his best to help those around him. He's had many ambitions (to run the Dallas Cowboys, to run onto a baseball field during a game....) and has one many "well acheived" awards (Montgomery Burns Award For Outstanding Acheivement In The Field Of Excellence, a medal....) His catchphrase is "D'Oh!" and his faviroute prayers are "Lord help me, I'm just not that bright" and "Dear God, give a bald guy a break". A few words of wisdom from Homer are: "Marge, it takes two to lie. One to lie and one to listen","If something's hard to do then it's not worth doing" and "Kids, you tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try." As we can all see Homer is a funny and well-loved character.

Marge is the housewife with 2'4" hair! She regurlaly attends church and is very festive. She's thoughtful to everyone but she sometimes comes up with some solutions that end up more embarassing than helpful. She once went to prison for stealing and was later on proved innocent, but for the time that she was gone, the dishes weren't done, no clothes were washed and there was a crocidile stuck down the toilet that ate Grandpa's false teeth- it just goes to show how much Marge does! She often gets things stuck in her hair objects including:
* Huge jar of cash.
* Check to cover damages to Homer's car.
* Cat.
* Money.
* Pacifier.
* Second pacifier.
* Chicken.
* Beach umbrella.
* Checkbook.
* Swarm of bats.
* A pencil.
* Telephone number to call if Grampa falls in
the bathtub.

Lisa's an 8 year old second grader, she's definatly a bit of a smarty pants! She's an addicted book reader, but not just any books- SMART books! She collects Malibu Stacey dolls and plays the Saxaphone! She's a straight A student who attempts to teach her family about vegetarianism and political correctness but fails miserably. She often angers her brother by being picked as babysitter, even though she's younger than him. Let's just say she's one to be relied on! As most girls do, Lisa has a crush on a pre-teen pop star named Corey. She also has friends but not the sort of friends most people have. Her friends consist of an old (fellow) Jazz and Blues Saxaphone player, and a journalist. In the past Lisa has tried to change herself to fit in but has often learnt that it all ends in tears. Being the most organised, she has been known to put together marches and parades to protect trees, animals and just about anything!

Bart (real name: Bartholomew Jojo Simpson) is your average pain-in-the-butt boy! He's been a disaster right from the start! When Marge was pregnant with him, he "mooned" Dr Hilbert on the Sonogram, and moments after being born he set fire to Homer's tie! He's always causing chaos and messing things up, but sometimes shows that he has a heart. He likes Skateboarding, Graffitying and annoying his sister. He's always getting told off by Principal Skinner and sometimes gets picked on by the school bullies. At the intro of the show he is seen writing lines on the chalkboard which is normal for Bart! Bart is a huge fan of "Krusty the Clown" and is friends with the bus driver "Otto". When feeling mischievious, he phone's "Moe's Bar" with hysterical names and ties his sisters "Malibu Stacey's" to the fan! Beat of a mean one, you may say, but Bart has a heart of gold at times. On many occasions, he's helped his sister regain her friends and has even been scared - not such a toughie after all! Bart also has a catchphrase: Eat My Shorts!

Maggie is thought to be a girl baby Bart! She's (as are most babies are) easily influenced by her surroundings but she's certainly done alot more than your average baby! She's hit Homer on the head with a mallet, thrown a dart at his picture, shot the fingers off a pair of mobsters and brandished a....Pencil! She's always seen falling over her babygrow. In the opening credits she's put through a shop scanner which reads that she is worth $847.63!
