The Story Of Hats
Hats have been worn for many reasons, including religion, protection against the elements, or for safety. But most commonly anymore they seem to be worn as a fashion statement. I want to take a look at the History of hats, some of the coolest, most popular, and the most unique hats that you may have ever seen. There are so many types of hats, they come in all shapes and colors and materials. So let's go see some hats.
The History Of Hats
Like I said before hats have been used for many things. Some other uses were to determine social status or military ranking. Hats can be traced back as early back as the primitive man. Of coarse back then they were worn for protection against the elements. In Egyptian, Roman and Greek times they were worn to show rank. It wasn't until the 14th or 15th century that they were worn to be fashionable. Some of the materials they started to make hats with were Silk, velvet, taffeta, leather, felt and beaver. Although over the years many different hats have came out there are still two basic styles, brimless and brimmed and two basic forms, caps and hats. A look ahead...............

Cowboy Hats
A cowboy hat is a wide brimmed hat that is defined as a piece of attire for the North American Cowboy. That is it's history at least. Today it is widely known as a Western fashion statement. Not only for cowboys, but women and kids and every one a like. There are tons of different styles of fashionable cowboy hats these days. I have to say this one is at the top of the list also as most popular hats. Great your new cowboy hat here
Fedora Hats
A fedora hat is a felt hat that is creased lengthwise down the crown and pinched in the front on both sides. Believe it or not before 1919 this style of hat would be found in the womens fashion accessories, but today it is a very popular mens hat style. Some celebs like Jude Law, Justin Timberlake, and Colin Farrell on occasion rock these Fedora hats. The fedora was made popular in the past by people like Al Capone, Bugsy Siegel, Bing Crosby and of coarse don't forget the famous Indiana Jones.Some women say that fedora hats are not sexy on men, what do you think?
Justin Timberlake I think knows how to wear it just right.

- I rarely wear hats in the spring, summer and fall, but in the colder weather, I often wear silly fleece hats. So I'm one of those who pretty much just wear them to keep my head warm. Still, I think hats are cool, especially cowboy hats.
