Scratches on my husbands back
My family and I were in Bavaria only one week and were walking down a path when my husband yelled out in pain. He said something was biting him on his back and it burned like fire. I pulled his shirt up and there were claw marks across his back, first diagonally from the right, then the left and then the right again. It was as if someone clawed him three times, covering almost his whole back. It was definately not natural or explainable, and I thought it odd that he was the one attacked, since we were in Germany and he was Hispanic, while my daughter and I were blonde with blue eyes. My absolute favorite paranormal TV show:
Ghost Hunters
There are many fans of this show, and I am one of them. I like the way they approach each alleged haunting from a skeptical and scientific point of view, but have the ability to say whether they believe a place may be haunted when they can't explain a seemingly paranormal event. My youngest daughter kept metal hangers in her wardrobe, but hardly ever hung anything up, so there was just a row of hangers. We constantly heard those hangers tingling, as if someone was running their hand back and forth on them. Stop locking the bathroom door!
One thing that happened rather frequently was something locking the bathroom door whenever I was in there. The first time it happened, my family was downstairs and they swore they didn't do it. Then it happened several times when I was alone in the house. It wasn't a simple lock either, the lock was something like a deadbolt, so it took some doing to turn the lock. Changing channels

The Christmas Tree
We moved to another apartment complex across town and away from the old Indian land. Maybe all will be quiet now. It was, for about 5 months, and then in December, we would hear a noise like something was brushing against the Christmas tree and it would shake. It happened a lot, like once a week or so. Niklas said it was Karl, he won the race, and his nose was shaped like this (he pressed his finger down on his nose). After Christmas, when we took the tree down, we didn't hear Karl anymore. I couldn't sleep. You know those nights when you toss and turn and time just ticks away on the clock. It was 2:16 AM and I was laying on my right side when my back grew so cold it was as if I was laying against a block of ice. The I heard a man yelling right in my ear. I was so scared, I couldn't move. I knew it wasn't a live person because while the man's voice was loud in my ear, it was as if he were in a tunnel screaming at me. The man's voice would fluctuate in an odd way, as if he were right behind me and then far down the tunnel and then behind me again. I couldn't make out anything he was saying, but I could feel his rage. I wanted to cry out, to call out to God, but I couldn't speak. In my head I said, "God help me, God help me, God help me", and it stopped. The cold numbness in my back faded away and it was 2:19. Just 3 minutes. It seemed so much longer. I just kept watching the clock, afraid to look behind me. I knew I had to, though. I slowly turned my head and looked...nothing. I don't know when I fell asleep, but I have never experienced anything like that and hope I never do again. Want to play soccer?
My teenage daughter and I were standing, facing each other in our apartment and talking about American Idol which had just ended. As we were talking, my son's soccer ball rolled between us and continued for about 3 feet until it came to a stop in front of the door. It was dark outside so all the doors and windows were shut and it was a nice day, so the air conditioner was off. We just looked at each other and Sabrina said, " The ball just rolled...". "Yeah", I said. And that was about it. What makes it more odd is that the soccer ball was partially deflated, so it wasn't easy to roll. I pushed it with my foot and it moved a few inches. curious... Honestly, I was really skeptical about this TV show because I thought it might be exploitative. It's not. It looks like it may help these kids. They can finally talk about what their life is like with two adults who believe them and understand the trauma it may cause. When I saw the one with younger children, it answered a question about my son that I pretty much knew figured out for myself, but it was confirming. In the episode with the younger children, they say it's worse when it gets dark and none of them sleep well in the evening at all.My son hasn't slept much at night since he was 4 years old. He is 6 now. I didn't force him to sleep at night either, because he was so scared to. I let him stay up with every light on, except my bedroom while I slept, and my daughter's room while she slept. There were times when I would put him in my room with me to try to get him to sleep at night, but he didn't even feel safe there. When he was younger, I got little sleep because I didn't like leaving him awake while I slept. I work evenings, so it wasn't too difficult, though. Just a bit of an adjustment. I have to home-school him now so he can get some sleep, but I home-schooled my daughters for two years, so it wasn't that big a deal.

Flip a Coin
While I was at work, my daughter said she was sitting on the couch watching TV. She said she was staring at something on the rug in the living room, like a piece of paper or something when a penny on the carpet flipped. She didn't even know there was a penny on the carpet and only noticed it when it flipped to the other side of the coin. She said it didn't get high off the carpet, maybe an inch or two, but there is no way that could have happened on it's own. This happened in May of this year (2008), and is the last thing so far. My daughter came form her bedroom asked me if it were me yelling. "No", I said, "maybe it was outside". Maybe it was, it probably was, but later that night when she and her boyfriend were in the front yard, my son ran and jumped into bed with me, pulled the covers up to his nose, and said, "I'm scared, I'm scared!" Seconds later, there was a loud BANG on the bedroom door. My daughter was still outside, so it wasn't her. She wouldn't do that anyway. I got up and searched through the house. No one, and nothing. Weird.
Hand on my Back
I was looking in a toybox hidden behind the chair in my living room, so I had one hand on the chair for support as I leaned over the chair, and used the other to search the box. My daughter and her boyfriend were in my bedroom looking for more of her playmobile toys. I felt someone leaning over me as if to look into the toybox, and I felt the pressure of their hand on my back for support. I figured it was Jewelia, and turned to talk to her. No one was there. I ran my hands up and down my back looking for whatever that was, and nothing, so I returned to my search, although a bit skittishly. This time, I felt the hand on my shoulder blade with the same pressure and that was it! No more looking. I sat on the couch and tried to figure out what else it could be, but came up with nothing.

When I was young, we had an old orange rocking chair up in the attic of our apartment building that had a seat made of criss-crossed ropes. It used to rock all by itself and we would all hear it.Our black cat stayed up there with her kittens and used to terrify me, 'cause she wouldn't let anyone near them and hissed showing her teeth! One night, my older sister took me with her to the corner to mail a letter in the mailbox. On the way back home I looked up to our top floor window and saw a woman who looked like my mom rocking in the chair, looking out at me. When we went into the house my mom said she was downstairs the whole time. I knew it wasn't her and to this day, it still makes me feel creepy. I've had repeated nightmares over and over about a vicious black dog with red eyes, who would step out onto the sidewalk from behind a hedge and wouldn't let me pass by.
