I haven't seen the Tobi steamer but I have three steamers which I use for different jobs around my flat and wouldn't part with them! They are very good and the small one I use when my clothes are hung in the wardrobe is fantastic. I n my opinion give it a go you can always return it if you do not think it does the job. Good luck.

John Chanda of Johnstown helped us put the Tobi to the test.
Putting it together was easy, and it heats up in less than 30 seconds.
John couuld see the difference with the first silk shirt he steamed. Plus, it's easier to use on hard to reach spots like pockets. It also has only one heat setting, so there's no need to worry about hot temperatures ruining your clothes.
The Tobi can also penetrates the shirt and remove smells, like cigarette smoke.
When it was time for John to weigh in, he gave it a thumbs up.

So for my birthday my in-laws got me the Tobi. Some of you may know what this is but for those of you who don't it's a steamer. It steams garments and takes out wrinkles in clothes. On the infommercial it claims it's even better than ironing. Well, I do not like ironing at all plus, I am not good at it. Eric wears a shirt and tie everyday to work and probably will in the future so I had better get used to it. I tried out the Tobi and I love it! It steams out most shirt as if they were ironed (it depends on the fabric - thicker fabric shirts work well but the thinner cotton's still need to be ironed) but it takes a lot less time, too!
For clothes that you would take to the dry cleaners to be freshened up or cannot be washed in the washer - the Tobi does it for you! It also takes out odors in clothes, like if you walk through a casino and then your clothes smell like smoke. Wow... they should just hire me on the infommercial j/k.
It is a great tool for anyone who hates ironing!!
