Traffic Drill Review

Traffic Drill is a membership website where website owners gather for a number of reasons; the main one being more traffic to their websites. While the site is relatively new, there are 275 members as of this writing and it is growing steadily and quickly.

Traffic Drill is more than just a link exchange. Traffic Drill is a central place where members can get and request more traffic to their websites, Squidoo lenses, HubPages, blogs, and more. They can also provide traffic through methods such as Digg, StumbleUpon, and many more. I would call it more of a "traffic community" as opposed to a simple exchange.

In addition to the traffic requests, there is also a forum that is chock full of suggestions and tips for increasing traffic through other methods. The Brothers' Rhodes seriously overdeliver here, providing golden information that they have used to dominate their niches. This forum alone is more than worth the price of admission.

So, how does Traffic Drill work? Here's a blurb from inside the site:

"Traffic Drill works because members trust each other. This trust is
backed up by the Karma System. Along with very strong moderation the
Karma System ensures that there is no abuse and that everyone is
helpful."

So, in a nutshell, members request traffic. Other members give traffic. The requestors then "Up the Karma" of the givers by giving them Karma points. Besides building trust, Matt and John indicate that Karma will be fairly significant - and I'm not certain how just yet. Members are not encouraged to give traffic to just any request either - only sites that they genuinely appreciate. I would hope that the self-moderation works. Since it is a paid membership, there is a much higher chance of it working correctly.

Some questions that have been asked:

Q. "Is this Traffic Drill offer for networking in any niche or is it mostly about the IM niche?"

A. So far, there are many niches represented within. It can probably work better outside of the Internet Marketing niche.

Q. "Do you need to have your own list to participate?"

A. No. Not at all.

Q. "How much traffic are we realistically talking about?"

A. While the site is currently only a few days old to the public, you won't peg your traffic meters yet. But, as more and more join you will definitely notice how this community can boost your traffic. For example, I put up a lens and requested traffic to it. A few minutes later, there were 10 votes on it. Not stellar, but definitely noticed!
