All right, here is the deal. As promised, Wealthy Affiliate has upped it's price.

New members now have to pay $39 a month instead of the old $29.99. Kyle and Carson implemented a pay up front/long term plan that will save you $108 if you don't like paying monthly. You have the option to lock in for a one year membership with a one time payment of $359.88. When you break it down ($359.88/12 = $29.99 per month instead of 39).

I feel for those that wanted in at $29.99 but Kyle and Carson had to do what they had to do. The new article marketing tool is pretty sweet though.

The top pages are prime real estate. They provide quality content and have developed a following (traffic) to their site. Google loves them because they have optimized their pages to generate a lot of traffic, therefore, they get ranked high on various internet searches (amazing location). They are living in the mansions of the internet and when you live in the mansion, you know how to make cash online.

This is what internet marketing is all about. When you first promote a product, it will be like you are living in a shack. There is no hot water, you have no friends, the roof is caving in, rats scuttle across the floor when you get up to go to bathroom at night, and you are stressed out.

As you start to add to your site and promote your products around the net, people will start stopping by. They want to see what this new guy/gal on the block is all about. If they like you, they will buy from you. I will assume you are no Grinch and people like you and sales start to come in. Now you have some money to put back into your shack and get some upgrades.

After a little time, you got your hot water back, you fixed the termite problem, you bought a microwave, and now have some money laying around and are starting to outgrow your shack. You need some new digs so you decide to move on up to a nice apartment in the sky.
