Nothing works like mom's old fashioned nagging so: Feel Young! Be Young!

Please!

Comb your hair, tie your shoes, be home before dark. Be wary of strangers, trust in your instincts, eat your vegetables, take your vitamins, don't talk back, be respectful. Don't drink and drive and don't ride with anyone who is drinking and driving.

Remember I love you even when I am angry at you, and that when I am finished being angry at you, that I am still going to love you.

Tell the truth, be kind to animals, try to do the right thing, do not steal, and when I am not there to help take care of you.......please......let even one quarter of my nagging kick in.

Be Young 

Children see a wonder and rejoice in an emotional high in almost everything that they see or do throughout their day. This enjoyment and excitement is essential to the human spirit. It is what our youth was comprised of and what keeps us in that state of mind regardless of our age.

Unfortunately, age and all the stresses and trials of daily living often program that little kid right out of us. We begin to play less and to laugh less. We become more skeptical and lose sight of the simple emotions, hopes and wishes that made life so exciting as a child.

Then you wake one day and start analyzing life itself. Trying to understand why things are as they are and why the hell you are still here anyways? You start looking anywhere you can to find some kind of excitement, but it only serves to reenforce your disintegrating attitude of the world.

It's about this time of life that you realize, you need to start looking at getting a little closer to your youth, and all of the optimism that came along with it.

It's still there. You just need to find it.

Stay Young! 

The fountain of youth is still yours for the taking. Locked within you, it lies, just waiting for the opportunity to emerge. That little kid that you long ago figured you no longer needed, that you tucked away, until the pressures and stresses of growing up tamped him further and further into the depths of your subconscious. Now that child is trapped inside and trying desperately to get out again, but buried beyond recognition, he can't find his way back out to play.

To be young again you have only to pull this magical elixir of emotions from its hiding place. Sounds easy huh? Well sometimes it is not easy to grow up and likewise, sometimes it is not so easy to grow younger. Sometimes it takes a lot of experiences, patience and learning, to turn around and successfully walk backwards.

Step Back In Time 

So you examine your vitality, your emotions and your ability to still enjoy the emotions of others. You look at your ability to dream and your ability to still believe in your dreams. You look at your ability to care and to show kindness. You examine why at some points you feel empathy and, why in other situations, you do not. You learn again to care, and with caring to love, and in learning these you begin to come to life. You examine your perspectives on living and other people's perceptions of living and, somewhere amongst all of that emotion, you begin to really truly live again.

You rediscover your innocence; that magical world of intense emotions that flash like lightening from a clear blue sky. This vitality, this life force, is what makes a person young.

It is what others see. Whether the emotion is happiness, curiosity, mischief, or sadness, the life force that shines from you is what causes people to stop and be fascinated. It is what makes you truly beautiful, truly young, and it is available to each and every person out there.

The child within you is where you will find your innocence, your ability to truly care, to cry just because you feel like crying, to laugh like you will never laugh again, to love, to play, to feel empathy where non might otherwise exist. It allows you to feel with emotion rather than with common sense and it is buried deep within you just waiting to emerge. That lost little kid is the pathway to finding the elusive fountain of youth.

You just have to let the little kid in you get out to play!
