Why I Created The Writer's Pusle
Way back when, in the very beginning, I wanted to write fiction, to tell stories. I always admired those who could capture emotions and twist them and ruin them with nothing but words. I still find it amazing.
But then I turned toward journalism and a desire to find the truth. I haven't found it yet, still searching, but in the process I earned my degree and now I'm hanging out for the summer.
With me, hanging out means doing something productive. And that something is building up The Writer's Pulse, my blog (though I'd like to call it an e-zine) about writing.
I created it because I feel that I have something to say about writing, perhaps even something different. I'm not one of those elitists or literary snobs who feel everything they put on paper is gold. I honestly believe that anyone can write, and that everyone should.
To hell with the rules and the standards. Don't listen to the critiques and don't ever worry.
Just write.
