Parenting: A Constant Learning Experience

From the day my firstborn came into the world, kicking and screaming, I started learning. Being a mom is hard, but what`s the point if you don`t let your little ones teach you a few lessons along the way and stop to enjoy life a little?

Kids are definitely a challenge, but I wouldn`t trade my boys for anything in the world. And here are the top ten lessons I`ve picked up from my children . . . since they`re only 3 and 2, I expect there will be thousands more in years to come!

1. Life is better when you share it with someone special

2. Try new stuff even if you`re scared

3. Life`s short, eat cake for breakfast!

4. Sometimes it`s good to let it all out

5. Don`t be afraid to be silly

6. Save a little something for later

7. Don`t be afraid to make new friends

8. The best learning doesn`t come from books
