#1 - How to drive traffic to my great infopreneur products I put out?

Think, Write & Retire Squinterview Question

One of the most frequently asked questions I get from infopreneurs is how to drive targeted traffic to their websites or blogs.

There are many different ways, and multiple products teaching the best way to use each one. The difficult part is however testing each to find the few that will work best for you.

Broadly, you may group traffic driving systems as paid and free.

Paid traffic comes from pay per click advertising like Google Adwords, paid banner or text ads on other websites, or even directly buying traffic to your website from traffic brokering networks.

However, the best traffic driving systems won't help you if your website does not convert visitors into subscribers or buyers. So before going the paid route, I'd prefer using free methods to test the site and tweak conversion.

Free traffic can come through social media networks like Digg, StumbleUpon, blogs and other services like Twitter, eHow, Craig's list and Gather.

For a pretty simple, step-by-step outline of the traffic driving methods that are best suited for infopreneurs, take a look at this guide called "Web Traffic in 30 Days" which many buyers found incredibly helpful.

#2 - How do I get started? Is this hard to do?

Think, Write & Retire Squinterview Questions

Interesting question, this.

How to get started is easier to answer. You begin by finding a topic you're passionate about, or a niche that's extremely profitable to get into - ideally both.

The exact process to pick a niche will vary depending upon whom you listen to. The first module of 'Think, Write & RETIRE' will go into detail about the process of picking a niche to get into.

Once you've identified a niche, the next steps are to find out what problems people in that niche have that you can solve, and then creating an information resource that addresses that problem and solves it for them.

Is it hard to do?

Depends.

If you're doing this for the first time, starting from scratch, then it will involve some trying, failing and trying again. Just like anything else you do for the very first time.

After a while, it gets easier - and soon, it becomes child's play.

And in contrast, if you compare it against setting up a real offline business, it is much easier to be an Internet infopreneur!

#3 - How to position myself as an 'Expert Infopreneur' ?

Think, Write & Retire Squinterview Questions

Dr.Mani, author of "Think, Write & RETIRE" and Internet Infopreneur, says:

How to position myself as an expert without doing teleseminars or interviews?

Being recognized as an expert has some significant benefits to every infopreneur. So it is worth spending the time and effort to get 'expert' status.

First, I'd like to clear up a myth. You don't have to be the best (or even the top 10) in the world to be considered an 'expert'. If you know something better than the people in your group, then to them, you are an 'expert'.

But the only way people will know that you are better than them in anything is if you show them. On the Internet, as an infopreneur, one of the best ways to do this is by writing articles and having them published on authority websites, blogs and newsletters.

When you write informative, educational and authoritative articles, others will be happy to publish your work on their websites because it gives their audience quality content - and because they will publish your author byline, that gives you expert status by association.

It won't happen from writing one article, or even five. But if you consistently write articles and have them published across multiple resources, the chances are you will shortly be recognized as an expert.

Teleseminars, interviews, and authoring books (or even ebooks) is a quicker way to achieve the same end.

#4 - Are there ways to start without a web site?

Think, Write & Retire Squinterview Questions

Dr.Mani, Internet Infopreneur, says:

Can you be an infopreneur without a website?

The answer is 'Yes', but it is a bit harder to get going and keep growing.

A quick and easy solution for someone getting started and not having the technical resources or knowledge to have a website is to launch a blog.

In the 'Blog Basics for Marketers' free report that you can collect by visiting this website, I explain how blogging can be easy and effective.

Services like Wordpress and Blogger allow you to set up a hosted blog with a few clicks, and then start publishing by simply typing text into a box on the website.

Another non-website option is to publish an email newsletter. Using services like Google Groups or Yahoo Groups, you can run a free email newsletter which will get you an audience for your words, and help you grow in stature as an expert.

Of course, at a certain stage, you'll have to bite the bullet and build a website to strengthen your online presence as an Internet infopreneur.
